Causes: Mental Health, Mental Health & Crisis Intervention
Mission: The grant halliburton foundation exists to help prevent suicide, promote better mental health, and strengthen the network of mental health resources for teens and young adults.
Programs: "when life hands you teenagers" is an educational conference for parents and others who work with teens to eductate them about depressiona and teen suicide prevention.
"i am here coalition" strengthens the network of mental health resources for teens in the dallas-fort worth community. The network includes providing physicians with depression screening toools; developing an online database of local mental health resources for youth; forming support groups for teens with mental health issues; presenting an annual bullying prevention conference; and training adults who work with teens to recognize signs of depression and risk of suicide.
"tag you're it" is an educational presentation that teaches teens how to recognize warning signs of depression and suicide and how to help a friend in crisis.
