Mission: Mission: to provide hope, empowerment and support to grandparents raising grandchildren, or seeking legal rights of custody or visitation of their at-risk grandchildren. GRC, founded by a grandmother in 1989, is a charitable organization dedicated to keeping families intact for the well-being of children of at-risk families. GRC has effective and well-tailored programs to serve its families. GRC holds a unique expertise in family support services for grandparents. Since its founding, the GRC has served more than 25,000 grandparents nationwide, and has a national recognition by the AARP in Washington, DC as "the most progressive grassroots organization for grandparenting issues."
