Mission: Grand staircase escalante partners is the official support organization for grand staircase-escalante national monument. The organization's mission is committed to preserving and protecting the vast landscape of the grand staircase-escalante national monument (the monument) for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. The organization's vision is that the monument provides an enduring opportunity to discover the iconic american west.
Programs: The organization meets its mission by working with governmental agencies and other organizations on conservation, restoration, education and research projects within the monument and on public lands within the greater landscape region of the monument and with other units of the conservation lands system that are managed by the blm. The organization has the following strategies: expand the current knowledge by acquiring new information in earth and biological sciences, paleontology, archaeology, and human history; impart what has been learned to others through informational literature, online resources and social media, regional schools outreach, and events, presentations and open discussion; ensure that the opportunities we enjoy today will exist tomorrow because of advocacy, conservation, site stewardship, resource monitoring and restoration; and provide an appreciation of the monument that comes from experiencing the monument through recreation, tourism, volunteer programs, community outreach and visitor feedback.
