I was first introduced to Grace Way Village in 2009. I've witnessed so many people get the help that they needed and many were trained to get ahead. They help with showing dignity and respect to each person entering the doors. During Covid they have gone above and beyond by providing take out meals 4 nights per week. Please consider joining us as we move forward to build the much needed Transitional Living Facility. St. Lucie County has many that could benefit from such a facility.

I began volunteering in May 2020, at the height of Covid. Joined a hard working team that has continued to persevere. Enjoy preparing and delivering meals to those in need. Maria is a great kitchen cook and team leader.

I've known Cathie Mouring for a number of years...she has always been a strong Christian woman and has always had a heart for people. At Grace Way village she has exceeded in her quest to help all people. Grace Way has become the place where the poor and homeless children get clean clothing, school clothing and meals. Free meals are offered Tue, Wed, Thur and Sunday for anyone that needs it. Not only does Grace Way Feed the body but it offers workshops to help improve lives. The new Goal is a Family Restorative Living Facility...a step up for anyone who needs a hand. A help also to our community where we have so many in need. Truly Grace Way lives up to its name.

I have recently moved here from another country. Compared to other non profit organizations I have been involved with Graceway is run in a professional manner. They are respectful and sympathetic to others needs and they go above and beyond when trying to help people who need.

Over the 7 years I have served at GWV, I have witnessed the greatest hearts serving so very many of our neighbors in need with caring hearts giving so much in spirit and help. When COVID hit, the food program rose to the challenge, becoming a front line organization in feeding the ever-increasing number of those in need of food assistance. Going from 150 hot dinners served one night a week to 1,000 meals served 7 nights a week show the high caliber of all who serve. Now, 16 months later, they have settled in at 4 nights a week, which will continue. An impacting truth of how much this is needed shows clearly with the number of meals served each week remaining, and sometimes surpassing, 1,000!

The clothing program resumed service in September 2020, adding further assistance to neighbors in need. Despite being closed the first 4 months of the COVID shut-down, over 2,500 children were clothed in 2020. Families with children know they are welcome when they arrive, each leaving with 14-20 items for each of their children.

These two programs take care of emergency needs, but they also help families divert their resources to other needs. GraceWay Village is truly a remarkable entity for neighbors in need!

I have had the privilege of volunteering at Graceway Village until Covid-19 put a hold on the Sunday program. My son and I delivered meals at 2 different locations and became close to many residents during that time.
The staff at Graceway is outstanding and it was a blessing to all who served and were served.
They also provide a Pantry and clothing to those less fortunate. The get my vote for an important part of our community.

I worked at the children’s boutique for a few years. I was impressed with the professional and compassionate way we were taught to handle the clients. Also, they went to great lengths to procure really nice clothing for the children. I felt like we were providing a great service to the families who couldn’t afford to shop at stores for their kid’s. We had the best prices - free!

I’ve worked with Graceway for over 6 months now and their heart for the people in need in Fort Pierce is amazing. They make dinners and take them to the homes of those who are homebound. The give clothes to those who do not have. They stock the pantries of those families they serve during the week with non perishable goods. Graceway is a Godsend and I’m glad to do my small part being the hands and feet of Jesus!

I witness, week after week, people coming to Graceway, who are in need. Perhaps, it’s clothing for their children, food, or to share a meal with someone. I am there each week, watching from behind the scenes. (I sort clothing). There is desperation in many faces. Graceway is the light that brings them hope!

GraceWay Village is a consistent resource for those in the community who are in need. When the "going get tough" (as in COVID), GraceWay Village stepped up and got going to reach the increasing needs of the growing number of clients. This is a place that people can count on... always doing their best to feed the hungry and clothe the children and teens.

The ministry of Graceway Village is impacting the homeless community and low income families in a tremendous way. Our church has partnered with Graceway and has been blessed as a result of it. I have personally seen lives changed and smiles exchanged as people are loved right where they are at in life. I am humbled to be able to partner with such an incredible organization.

I've been involved with GraceWay Village for approximately 5 years, serving on the Board for the last 2.5 of those years. I was first drawn to GraceWay Village because of a volunteer need I heard about in conjunction with their hot meal service on Sunday evenings. I was immediately impressed with the efforts extended to make the guests feel welcome and like they were dining at a restaurant and we were the servers. When I had the opportunity to see the clothing closet, I felt like I was in a boutique. I am excited for the family living transitional housing to be completed as there is a gap in our community for similar services for families with children. The way that GraceWay stepped up to feed so many more people during the COVID-19 crisis alone is impressive. The dedication of the staff and employees never ceases to amaze me.

Since working with Suncoast three years ago, I’ve had the opportunity to seek assistance for my clients through Grace Way as they provide my families with clothing. My families are financial strugglers and they appreciate each time I take the time to come shop for them as most don’t have a reliable vehicle. Thanks Grace Way for all you do for our surrounding communities. Carmen L Okeechobee ❤️

As a volunteer in the children's boutique I witnessed so many young lives impacted by the love and respect shown to each and every shopper. Growing up is a tough job. As a Middle School Nurse for many years I experienced how truly hard it is for young people to find a place of acceptance from their peers. Being able to provide quality clothing in a setting that feels like a boutique vs a thrift store brought joy to so many little faces. Knowing this service helped improve or remove one of the big obstacles to finding acceptance among other children was a Blessing for me to be part of. This is just one of the many ways Grace Way Village empowers the less fortunate members of our community. I am honored to have been Blessed to serve a small role with them,

Graceway has truly be a blessing to me in so so many ways. I have experience love ,caring ,and very compassion. I experience how they help so many people in crisis that they thought there wasn't no hope but God bless the ones that came for help and were blessed to leave with abundantly. Graceway staff and volunteers has reach out all over Saint Lucie County. They reach to the Seniors that Desiree to have very hot meal. Well God blessed Graceway to make a way to deliver food to there front door. The people are honor to have the meals and I do believe the seniors are happy to know someone think that much about them to care . I truly thank God for the director Cathie Mouring for the joy of love she has for the community, staff, and everyone she comes in contact with as she Ministries to people the love, giving and concern. This is what God uld do. Cathie lets God order steps being director over Graceway in taking care every person walks into the Hope Closet and the Cafe. I love Graceway Village to the up most in all things. I was a voiunteer first and victor who was in need of help and now I'm a employee for Graceway village. I thank God. I will continue to help Graceway helping the community all over.

GraceWay Village continues to recognize important ways to address the basic needs of so many people in St. Lucie County, from feeding the poor to providing transitional housing when affordable housing is so hard to find. As a United Way board member, I see this funded agency as an oustanding model for the success of impact funding.

I volunteered with Grace Way Village to provide food to seniors and disabled citizens. Grace Way's training emphasizes that all be treated with dignity and respect. This was an important lesson to me. Grace Way's giving giving philosophy is that their "customers" should be treated as "paying" customers, like businesses treat customers, because they want them to return. It's so important that those who receive charity keep their self-respect and are made to feel important and worthy. I smiled, joked, acted with care and concern. It made me feel good about myself, and about those I served. Well done, Grace Way Village.

My women’s life group volunteered in the kitchen and helping to sort clothes. The leaders where friendly, committed, and organized. They showed the love of Christ in all they did that day. It was a great experience and our church has other groups that come and serve on a regular basis.
