I’ve seen firsthand the profound impact this organization has on foster youth and vulnerable families, and I’m continually amazed by the love and dedication of everyone involved. The mission of Goshen Valley—to provide hope and healing through relational, trauma-responsive services—is truly at the heart of everything they do. It’s not just about meeting immediate needs, but about cultivating lasting personal healing and generational change. They’re giving these children and families the tools they need to heal, grow, and break cycles of trauma.

If you want to be part of an organization that is changing lives with compassion, faith, and care, Goshen Valley is truly one of a kind. I’m proud to see the difference they’re making every day.

I recently had the privilege of participating in a volunteer day at Goshen Valley Foundation, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff and other volunteers were not only passionate about the mission but also genuinely appreciative of our efforts.

The day was well-organized, with clear instructions and plenty of support. We were given meaningful tasks that allowed us to contribute directly to the well-being of the children and families Goshen serves. I wanted to take a moment to share my incredible experience volunteering at Goshen Valley’s Second Saturday event. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms by both the staff and the youth, and it was clear that this was a special place filled with love, hope, and community.

The day was packed with meaningful activities that allowed us to connect with the boys at the Ranch in such a personal way. Whether it was working together on a community project or just having fun during the recreational activities, every moment was an opportunity to make a difference. I was amazed at how engaged and enthusiastic the boys were, and it was evident that they genuinely appreciated the time we spent with them.

What struck me most was the sense of family that permeates everything at Goshen Valley. The staff's dedication to creating a nurturing and supportive environment is truly inspiring, and it’s clear that the boys feel safe and cared for. Being able to contribute to that atmosphere, even in a small way, was incredibly fulfilling.

The event was also very well-organized, making it easy for volunteers like myself to get involved and feel like we were making a real impact. The staff provided all the guidance and support we needed, and they were always there to answer questions or lend a hand.
