Mission: The mission of Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth is to empower people with disabilities, disadvantages, and other barriers to employment so that they may achieve maximum independence.
Results: In 2017, 9,562 lives were touched by Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth’s workforce development programs: 3,548 People completed mandated community service 3,569 People received employment services 1,038 People gained employment through Goodwill’s Employment Services 326 People with disabilities or barriers employed by Goodwill 372 People were placed into employment through Goodwill Staffing Services 123 People received vocational assessment 209 People served by GoodLife program

Programs: Goodwill Works – employment services for the homeless or imminently homeless. E-Squared – GED preparation and paid work experience for youth 16-24. VetWorthy – Employment services for military veterans and their families. S.T.A.R.S. – A unique life skills day program for adults with significant or multiple disabilities. Job Resource Centers – Free computer access, job skills training and placement assistance at five area locations. North Texas Institute for Career Development – Goodwill Fort Worth’s career school offering credentials in CDL Professional Truck Driving, Hospitality – hotel guest room and front desk attendant, forklift certification, and Virtual Classes in the IT and medical fields.
