I have been affiliated with Goodwill for the past six years. This organization does great things to help the under-employed find better paying jobs. They have serveral free training classes from forklift training to enhancing your resume. Additionally, this Goodwill supports our veterans through free training and through providing a place to live at their veteran's home. This is a great organization.

I have been around the Goodwill Industires of Central Illinois since I was a young child. Now I am older and can say that this Goodwill has done nothing but improve. Most of their stores have gone through a reconstruction and now look better than ever. Also, they provide classes for anyone to help improve their computer skills and become job ready. Doing this is helping so many people in such a hard time. Seeing a company do great things like this makes me a very proud customer knowing that the money I am giving them is going to a great cause. Each store has extremely friendly staff and as well as their Administration office. Each time I have had questions or comments they have been very helpful and knowledgeable. I want to thank them for giving me such a great store to shop at and doing such great to their community. Homeless Veterans are another big problem that they are helping with. This Goodwill has the Goodwill Veterans Re-Entry Program which helps homeless veterans get another chance at life. They just held a Stand Down and provided 100+ homeless veterans with food, supplies, clothing and plenty of help on ways they can help turn their life around. I say that this Goodwill should be a TOP candidate to be accepted into the Top NonForProfit Agency.
