Causes: Children & Youth, Family Planning, Health, Human Service Organizations, Human Services, Neighborhood Centers, Reproductive Rights, Youth Centers & Clubs
Mission: Our mission is to help immigrant families, especially the newly arrived, access needed services, stabilize in the country, develop self-sufficiency, and participate constructively in the community.
Programs: Good Sam has two main program areas: 1)Family Services Division, which includes Parent Support Groups, Parenting Classes, Case management, Adult Literacy, After School Academic Enrichment, Soccer Program, Asthma and Dental Screenings and Education for children of elementary public schools, Emergency Assistance, Year-round Youth Program, English as a Second Language classes, Computer classes and In-home support. 2)Child Development Center, which provides fully enriched, bilingual childcare to 30 low-income children and daily drop-in childcare for community classes.
