Jess with Good neighbors Inc. has been a true blessing to our family. She’s helped feed our family countless times and we’ve even been able to share some of the food she’s given us with one of our elderly neighbors who lives on his own. We’re thankful beyond words for this nonprofit.

We absolutely love Good Neighbors, & how they partner with other food-giving groups in the area! They help community blessing boxes, food pantries, senior citizens, foster families, & just so much more! They are absolutely amazing & such a blessing to have in our community!!!

We are extremely pleased to be working with Good Neighbors at HSC. We were uncertain at first but the response in our park has been outstanding. It is a function looked forward to by many. There is usually a good balance of food items to pick from and with good management in place everyone leaves happy.

Variety and quantity at their best! I am so grateful for all the food and even flowers.

I just wanted to say this program is wonderful
All the people that work there are great people. I live in a 55 and older park,and these people take the time to bring us food to our park.there is many people here that don't have a car,or living by a month income.so for these people to care for us,means alot to us. Sincerely, debbie

I started volunteering with Goodneighborsfl.org about 6 months ago. Every person that I have met is friendly and dedicated to making this organization successful. Once I retired, I wanted to find a place where I could give back. This is the right spot for me.

Good Neighbors Food Pantry wholeheartedly rates 5 stars. We are a community of seniors, food/meals often rank at bottom of fixed-income budgets.
Good Neighbors provides a pantry on site allowing even residents without transportation access to food. I sincerely thank the Good Neighbors staff, volunteers and their food donors.
The variety of fruits, breads, meat, vegetables and other items provide nutritional meals which we would otherwise go without. Residents even share recipes or cooking ideas for the items offered that day.

The Healthcare Representatives who sponsor the pantry are also greatly appreciated, very kind individuals who offer personalized attention and physician information. It can get so confusing and having an actual person to speak to is very helpful.

Good Neighbors is an invaluable partner to the First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City This Day Program. They have provided hundreds of pounds of rescued food to the program for redistribution. Their efforts are making a significant impact on decreasing food insecurity in our local community. Krista and her team are amazing. We are very thankful for their hardwork and commitment.

Good Neighbors is located on the campus of St.John’s Episcopal Church where I am a member. I do a Publix pick up on Sunday mornings before Church, donate regularly to Good Neighbors both in dry goods, monetarily monthly, and by breaking down boxes for recycling as needed as often as possible. Heather and Tim Brooke are by far the most hard working, dedicated people I have ever met that go above and beyond to help those in need. They are so appreciative of each and every Volunteer that works for them and are always telling us how grateful they are for the help. I am proud to be a Volunteer for Good Neighbors. Good Neighbors is truly an amazing organization. Besides delivering food to over 70 senior communities each month they also serve the extended stay motels/hotels and unhoused population. Many partner organizations are supplied with food from Good Neighbors which enables them to run pantries, giveaways, and cook meals. All food is supplied with no cost to individuals or organizations. The amazing group of volunteers is what can make all this happen. Thank you @good neighbors for all you do to make a difference in peoples lives.

We have been blessed very much at our senior citizens . sometimes seniors are forgotten about but with the help of good neighbors inc no senior at our center is without a bagel.they just love seeing me bring them in for bingo ! Thank you for the fresh bagels

The disparity between haves and have nots increases daily, as does food insecurity in this period of higher food costs. Through their work, Good Neighbors addresses these concerns every day. The founders and many volunteers are selfless in their quest to ensure no one goes hungry. It is an organization where I can live my values with people who are also passionate about these same issues. We not only care about the greater community, but each other. That helps make volunteering with Good Neighbors something I look forward to each week.

My name is Jeff Pryor and I work for the Addiction Center of Broome County, NY. I am the supervisor of the UP Comfort Center. We are an emergency overnight shelter keeping individuals safe so they don't have to sleep outdoors in the winter or summer. Good Neighbors has literally solved 95% of our food insecurities. With a small food budget we rely heavily on donations, agencies volunteering to bring meals and now with Good Neighbors we are receiving quality food from local businesses in Broome County. The food we receive allows my staff to prepare evening and morning meals in a snap. Just this past week we received enough food to prepare:
Pork Chops, Broccoli, Mashed Potatoes, Crème Brulee Cake
Perogies, Yellow Rice
Beefy Mac, Corn Bread
General Sao’s Chicken, Vegetable Rice
Baked Cod, Couscous
Roast Beef Sandwiches, Chips

We are so thankful such an amazing non-profit has made doing what we love to do just a bit easier. Thank you Krista! & Thank you to your team!!!

I keep trying to get qualified for EBT, but because I have a small business, they look at my business income before expenses, not my personal income so i keep getting turned down. Thank you so much for this amazing treat of bagels on this Sunday morning! I feel special today thanks to you!

We are so thankful for this group! We have a tight budget and we are able to get fresh food that we normally would not be able to afford. Every interaction with Jessie is always pleasant and we are so very thankful for her! What a wonderful nonprofit!!

Once my snap money went from $178/ month to $23/ month, I was so grateful for Good Neighbors Inc. It is an absolute blessing to be able to get good healthy food, and some desserts. Thank you so much for all you do for our community and for so many communities in the area.

Good Neighbors non-profit org. has been just wonderful at supplying our community with food for our residents once a month. Heather Brooke is our director and goes beyond the call of her job to make sure that we get what we need for the free food distribution. It has been a great blessing to all that receive the food. Thanks again to Good Neighbors for your help in supplementing our grocery bills each month, now many can afford their medications.

Good Neighbors takes care of their community!! I started volunteering after learning about Good Neighbors through Girl Scouts because I'm amazed by their cause, their mission and the large scope of geography and number of communities they help. In addition to feeding 1000 communities a year, they rescue thousands of pounds of food that would end up in a landfill.

Good Neighbors provides health fruits and vegetables, non Perishables and Perishables, even snacks to our Senior Community rice monthly. It goes a long way reducing food insecurities for us folks on fixed incomes that are out paced by inflation. We're able to afford our basic needs of medication, housing etc due to their generosity.

This wonderful organization helps so many individuals as well as helping to keep other nonprofits like us, Dinner and Duds for the Homeless, supplied with foods to cook for our people. It takes a village and we are glad they are a part of ours.

I love volunteering with Good Neighbors! I'm so glad to work with an organization that always goes above and beyond to meet the needs of our community members. Being a volunteer has allowed me to see how many people are truly in need all around us, and how much Good Neighbors really cares about their well being. Such beautiful people, it’s one thing to receive blessings but to do it so respectfully not allowing others to feel like they should be ashamed for the help but yet reminding those take if you need but also to be courteous for others our community has been blessed and we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts the help is more than some food, clothes and toiletries for some it’s everything but to all it’s a blessing so thank you as you continue to bless those in need

I am currently staying at a hotel that Good Neighbors brings items to, like food clothing ect. Money is very tight and what they do is so very precious to me and to our community of people that stay here. I am very thankful for what they do and it it so much appreciated.

My family and I have had to move into an extended stay hotel. Heather from Good Neighbors reached out to me regarding this wonderful nonprofit organization. There are many many families here that are all in need of food and kids clothing etc. Heather came through for all of us! Her volunteer Jacalyn has been nothing short of AMAZING! They not only help bring food that is desperately needed but they also genuinely care about you and the community they're helping. Wonderful wonderful people that now have a piece of my heart. Good neighbors has been servicing our 55+ community for the past 3 years. Each time they come, our residents enjoy the large variety of fresh produce, fruit, meats, breads and desserts and at times pantry and health products. In these times of high inflation, this food pantry is instrumental in helping those of us who are on a fixed income, manage our food budget better. We can never thank this organization enough for all they do.

We have a lot of elderly residents who are trying to live on just social security. Good neighbors is a great organization who asks for little but give everything they have. They don't make people feel like they are getting charity. They make you feel like you are helping them by using the food they supply. They are beyond kind and generous. They really listen and care about what you need and want most.

I’m only here since November. I think its such a nice idea. The gentleman who does it went home for the summer & myself & Maryann have been filling in. The residents appreciate this very much as not everyone can afford as prices just keep going up. It’s always fresh & a variety of breads & goodies are a big hit.

Great Neighbors in Clearwater, FL is a great nonprofit using their connections to connect others with delivering food to our community. Everyone I have met there is happy to assist with their time and always sharing smiles with others. I'm thankful for everything they do in our community!

We are a low income senior community in Largo, Florida. Good Neighbors provides our residents with food donations twice per month. The variety of food is amazing- from produce to boxed/shelf stable and even frozen meat. Many of our residents are food insecure and the donations from Good Neighbors gives them ability to fill their fridge with healthy food they otherwise would not be able to afford. We are so grateful for Good Neighbors!!!

I cannot begin to say what an Amazing
Organization Good Neighbors is. They deliver healthy fruits, vegetables and meat to our Senior Community. Let's face it, it cost more to eat healthy foods instead of processed foods. It is a blessing to receive their bounty. They have done a lot to relieve the food insecurities experienced by Seniors in this trying economy.

Good Neighbors Inc. has been an excellent partner over the last 3 years! We, as the Tampa Bay Network to End Hunger are grateful to have Good Neighbors Inc. as recipients of the Waste No Food program, a program that allows them to expand food resources to vulnerable populations across the Tampa bay area. Through their incredible work they have been able to reduce food insecurity and expand nutritious resources for all.

Good Neighbors partners and provides support for our bi-weekly pop-up at St Paul's Lutheran. It is great that we are able to provide an assortment of necessary products to our clients. Good Neighbors assistance helps with our ability to offer this service to our clients.

With out this organization my family would be seriosuly struggling. They also afford us the oopurtunity to help others which feels good.

Even though I cannot lift heavy things or be on my feet I was still given the opportunity to help the community from home.

Where can one begin to acknowledge the great benefit this organization has been to the Residents of the community I manage. This organization has fed my community of residents, faithfully and with dedication the last 2 + years. Some of my residents had to forego filling their RX’s to try and have enough $$ to eat, or worst, would give up food to get their RX’s or other needs. We are deeply indebted to Heather, this organization, and team of volunteers. Thank you Heather for living your Mission Statement that “none should go hungry.”

Amazing people helping the community. Being able to give food to familes gives hope and ripple effects to so much goodness. Being able to pick up food and help single moms and elderly neighbors is what its all about. That sense of community without having to feel shame for needing a little help from a neighbor
