Animals have always made me feel better and I suffered with depression anxiety and being alone most of my life I love animals and I love working with them if I have the opportunity I think you guys are an amazing organization I wouldn't mind being a part of your team if possible if somebody can contact me about the job you guys have posted that I've applied three weeks ago or so when I still haven't heard anything back
Adopting our sweet Coconut through GK was a wonderful experience. She has enriched our lives so much and we are grateful that she was rescued by GK! This is a great organization. Thank you for rescuing my beautiful baby Good Karma!!
While rescuing dogs is worth it, this agency treats its fosters the worse. The most uncaring, disorganized agency i have seen in a very long time. Poor animals
March 1,2020 we adopted 3 month ago Mattie. Sherry brought her to our home and we fell in love with her. She is growing up into a loving companion. We had lost our 13 yr old Yorkie about 6 weeks prior. Mattie did not replace our Dolly; she brought joy and happiness back into our home. Mattie weighed 6# when she came to us. She now weighs 15#. We sent her DNA to be tested and found what mixture she is. She is very social and very very loving. Just what we needed. What she has added to our home during this Pandemic can not be measured!!!
I am in the Dog world with Facebook & Instagram. You sent a list on what & where to donate for Bahamas dogs. I was able to donate food & supplies. Thank you for that valuable information!
Good Karma has changed my families lives! They are the most organized rescue I have ever seen! As a foster sometimes I get to participate in rescue missions! My favorite mission was when I found my puppy Hugh. He came from a flea infested abandoned building! I nursed him back to health, and once he was ready for adoption, my dad was in love and scooped him up! Now he enjoys cuddles on the couch every night before bed! He also loves car rides!
I've been a friend of Good Karma Pet Rescue for years, giving cash donations. After some time I thought I might be able to help as an emergency/temporary foster. This is someone who can take a pet short term, until a permanent foster can be found. I've helped 5 or 6 dogs until my dog, Destine, started getting too upset at having canine house guests. There is still a need for both short term and long term fosters. There is also a need for other ways to volunteer. I help with data entry, but there is a need for photography, office help, transportation, visiting dogs in boarding (typically larger dogs with no foster home). It's a great organization and does so much.
I adopted my poodle mix, Sheldon, from Good Karma Dec 2016. I was so impressed with the people working so hard to save these animals that I knew I had to volunteer & eventually started fostering. Almost 1 year & 5 foster pups later we Foster Failed Amy, the sweetest little Rat Terrier type dog. Being part of this rescue has been an amazing experience because not only have I been an integral part of changing the lives of the dogs we find homes for, I've met & made life long friendships with adopters & other volunteers.
In March 2019, Scatola was dumped at a shelter. She was matted, dirty, and handicapped. Thanks to Good Karma I was able to take care of her, heal her, and fall head over heels in love with her. But, fostering is a commitment to giving one up to adopters so you can save another. So Tola is now with her amazing family and I couldn't be prouder. I have taught my son that we help the animals because they can't help themselves. Tola is a perfect example.
They are very active and committed and it passes on to volunteers who foster or help. I am helping financially as much and often as I can as I believe they are doing a great job at saving animals and providing a safer environment for them. I love the fact that they give news of the animals that get adopted and the testimonies on how these animals changed other people lives in return. Good deed always pays off.
I saw a story on Facebook at the beginning of 2019. There was a malnourished pregnant dog who needed rescue. Good Karma stepped in and nurtured this new momma dog Peach (es) until she gave birth about a week later. I volunteered to bottle feed the babies if she was not able to nurse due to her poor condition. Peaches ended up with 13 babies ... but only 5 survived the first day and she was not up to nursing. She was too weak. I had the privilege of bottle feeding 2 of the remaining 5 for just 24 hours until a more experience bottle feeder stepped in. The puppies were not latching on to the bottle and it was thought they might have cleft palates so were taken to the vet but it turned out they didn't. Mario and Daisy survived and thrived. They were adopted out. Mario and Daisy were the cutest angels. They were taken great care of by this wonderful organization. Without the loving support and care of so many volunteers, they would not have made it. Please support this great organization by fostering or donating. Share their good works so they can continue their mission to help those animals most in need of love.
Adopted my wonderful Chachi from GK 2 years ago. She was rescued off the street , pregnant and subsequently gave birth with a GK foster. One pup lived and was immediately adopted. My girl Chachi stayed with another foster until I was blessed to add this beautiful, loving part chi /part Jack Russell to my family. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Good Karma, they even rescued dogs from China, from Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
Good kharma pet rescue is a selfless rescue who cares only for helping and saving the animals in need. It doesn’t discriminate or judge and only cares for the safety of the animals that need it. They make sure the shelter animals that are not doing well are taken out and put into foster homes to feel real love and affection. They take in the strays that would ultimately not survive on the streets and put into foster care so they can be taken care of. They are a foster home based rescue who opens their homes and hearts to the ones who need us the most... the animals.
This charity is amazing! They do so much for pets near and far away! I have adopted from them and they are fantastic! I have never seen a charity so selfless!!!
Good Karma changed my life. I had no idea that saving animals would be my calling when I was younger but here I am. This rescue has given me the opportunity to grow as a person, meet amazing new people, and save so many lives.
Always available, willing to help those who cannot help themselves and to educate those who don't know.❤
My family has seen this rescue grow and prosper in our community for many years. They go well-above and beyond to give the animals the very best and ensure life-long health and happiness in their forever homes. They truly care for the animals and have an enormous network of amazing volunteers that make this such an outstanding and well respected rescue organizations in our area.
I love this rescue! I’ve adopted two dogs from them and I think that the work that they do is amazing!
Good Karma saved my yorkies life just like they have done for so many other pets in need. She came into rescue with 2 broken legs and a collapsed lung. They picked up where her previous owners left off. I believe she was well cared for prior to being hit by a car and her family couldn't afford the care she needed. Luckily GK stepped in and saved her life.
Amazing rescue, always rushing and willing to help all fur babies. Great volunteers and staff that work tirelessly to do everything they can to save lives and help them find love again.
I adopted my dog from this rescue & it has been the best decision I have ever made. My dog has become my best friend and my favorite "person" ever! You can tell by their process that they want to make sure every creature gets a safe, stable and loving family. I fell in love with my dog the second I met him. They are incredible and so helpful during the entire process and even after to ensure an effortless transition to their forever home. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!
We recently adopted two puppies from Good Karma. The experience was nothing short of amazing. They were very responsive and professional. Great experience and we love our puppies.
We adopted our dog Kiwi through Good Karma and the customer service and follow-through was outstanding. They always responded to my emails promptly, and our experience with their foster mother who had our dog originally was very positive. I highly recommend this organization!
Good Karma Pet Rescue Inc. is a wonderful group. They are compassionate, resourceful, and outgoing. They go out of their way to speak for those that can’t and to rescue those Pawesome animals in need. They work extremely hard to take in animals and find necessary medical care for them as well as ensuring a great screening process for adopters and fosters. Anytime I have a spare a few bucks I always donate it to Good Karma !
Awesome team of caring people! Love working together and looking forward in helping more with fostering again!! They need us, those precious little souls!! ❤️ Thank you Good Karma
We adopted “Rocket” from GK and could not be more thrilled. The whole process was very professional from start to finish. The dog was described honestly and accurately and therefore fit in well with our other 2 dogs. He remains in great health and is very happy.

Good karma is the best. They take on the toughest medical cases, and are dedicated to saving as many animals as they can. A+ Organization.
I adopted my rescue dog Foxy through GK and found them to be caring and helpful through the whole process. They obviously care about all of their animals. I tell everyone to look for their next pet at GK!
I adopted my beloved fur baby from the amazing Good Karma Pet Rescue and I’m so thankful with the care and compassion they had with my baby and others that may not have had a 2nd chance. We love Good Karma Pet Rescuen
Amazing place. Helpful staff and they do an amazing job saving animals. Adopted a pet from here and will continue to
Last year I found 3 kittens and they are part of a TNR community that I care for. This was the first time that I found kittens under 4 weeks of age, so I knew they would have a better chance with me to find a home. I asked some friends and someone suggested Good Karma Pet Rescue, I joined and fostered the kittens. One was adopted from the Cafe and the other two were sent to Vermont and found homes together in less than 2 weeks! I continue to volunteer for Good Karma Pet Rescue because I am so proud that be part of such a wonderful community of pet lovers.
Amazing staff, volunteers, and non profit rescue. So many animals are saved by Good Karma, rehabilitated, and rehomed!! I am proud to be a foster with Good Karma
We had a fantastic experience adopting a puppy evacuated from BVI via Good Karma Pet Rescue. Everything we were told about the puppy was accurate and everyone was knowledgeable, competent and trustworthy. We dealt with a disreputable pet rescue in California years ago and were hesitant to do business with another, but Good Karma was fantastic. Nicki Pierson and Amanda Garcia were especially fantastic. Kudos to Good Karma.
I rescued our. Casper from them 11 2017 n have support them since then... Their dedecation n comment is none other than the animals... There are so many dedicated organizations n i wish could support them all. Good Karma is my choice to support.
These are the most driven group I have ever seen for animal welfare, saving hundreds of cats with a partnership up North that can receive the over population from South Florida, their TNR efforts are also remarkable, I have been involved in protection of animals for over 40 years and this is one of the best rescues ever!
Good Karma has brought many amazing dogs to my family and friends family. They rescue animals (dogs, cats,Guinea pigs, hamsters, fish) medically care for them and then adopt them out. What an amazing organization to be a part of!
Fell in love with Kirby, the grumpiest old-man faced kitten. On adoption day, he was transported with his siblings, and that’s when his sweet baby sister worked her magic and weaseled her way into the house as well. Good Karma volunteers are amazing, wonderful people, and lovely to work with!
I took in a dog back in November of 2018. Unfortunately my resident animals did not take to her and we had to find a home for her. We didn't have a whole lot of luck on our own, especially since we are skeptical of strangers not wanting to let us do a home visit when we aren't part of a rescue group. I reached out to GKPR and within a couple of weeks she had a great new home with a family who love her. It was a great enough experience that since then I have fostered two more and seen the great work they do. They even rescue bunnies and hedgehogs now! The most recent grand adventure they had with rescuing was a lot of 36 dogs from China who were bound for a dog meat festival. :(
This rescue is the legitimate kind. They aren't in it for money or glorification. They're in for the animals, for the innocents who can't help themselves!
I never knew how much joy I would have with this Rescue. I have three wonderful babies that are not puppies but children to me. I would recommend this Rescue to anyone.
Maggie with Good Karma was amazing! She is a coworker and immediately matched my personality with our amazing kitten, Oliver. He now is overly loved in a good home. Thank you good karma for finding us a best friend!
I’ve volunteered for this pet rescue for about three years now. I have young kids so I normally rescue/foster bottle babies/very young puppies. I’ve probably adopted out over 20 puppies over the years. Good karma takes care of all vetting, supplies the foster parents with crates, bedding, food, bowls, leash/collar, towels, chew toys, bones and all meds/preventatives. Good Karma is an amazing rescue that really cares for the animals.
I have only been with this rescue a few months! They are so organized and everyone is so nice! I would highly recommend.
My daughter found a kitten in Miami who had been in an accident. It had lost part of its tail, and was seriously underweight. Good Karma set my daughter up as a foster, paid for all of the medical treatments, and now the kitten has found her furever home with a loving family. That is just a small example of the amazing work that this organization does.
I found a pregnant cat in my back yard. There was no way I could keep her let alone her kittens. I contacted Good Karma and where I got no’s from everywhere else they said yes. I fostered her and she gave birth to 5 kittens in my bathroom. Good karma found homes for all kittens and for her. I now foster for them all the time. I can help save so many more lives this way than by trying to keel them all. Good karma rarely says no whether it’s a question of quantity or medical issues this rescue ROCKS
Good Karma Pet Rescue is very much devoted to helping all types animals.
My current foster Nicole is a paralyzed kitty and Good Karma didn't hesitate rescuing her from the shelter. Now Nicole is having physical therapy to walk and have a chance to be a normal kitten.
They helped me when a friend found a sick cat. Immediately allowed me to take her to one Rescue's partner vets to get the care she needed without thinking ther cost.
Also friend was trying to rescue some Guinea pig babies from getiing dumped to Everglades. I reach out to GK and they immediately took action found fosters and took in them. Even create a small animal adoption team to handle them.
There are many happy ending stories at Good Karma Pet Rescue as well as sad ones. It's a rescue with a big heart.
I foster for GK and adopted 2 of my pets after fostering a while also. I'm very happy to be part of this great organization.
