Mission: The mission of the good grief center (ggc) is to be a comprehensive bereavement resource and referral center that builds a more compassionate community through grief awareness, education, support and hope; creating a safe place where all who have experienced the pain of death may come to work through loss and learn to manage grief. Since becoming our own irs section 501 (c)(3) organization effective february 28, 2008, we have experienced tremendous growth. Ggc served 6,221 new clients during the fiscal year ending june 30, 2010. Individuals are served through one to one peer support, support groups, grief in the workplace or compassionate connections.
