Melissa pours her heart, soul and funds into taking amazing care of these animals in need. The volunteers do an awesome job year-round taking care of their needs and giving them much love. Sponsors and donations are used wisely to give quality food, necessary medications and supplements and top-notch veterinary care. Everyone treats the animals with much kindness. I have been there several times and have always felt welcomed. Melissa and the volunteers enthusiastically hold fundraisers a few times a year and the community loves Golden Reward Sanctuary. Definitely a wonderful place to donate knowing your donation will go directly to giving the animals the best care! They can always use good tack to resell at their fundraisers. I can't say enough good things about GRS! Bless you, Melissa and volunteers for your caring hearts. D.A. Weatherford, TX

With unbelievable compassion and knowledge, Golden Reward has cared for so many seniors including my brother’s two roping horses after his untimely passing. It takes a unique individual, Melissa Hadley, leading dedicated volunteers to help these seniors thrive in their retirement years. I am forever grateful that Tex and Toby along with their sidekick, Shakira the donkey, know green pastures, tasty treats, and the kindness of Melissa and her team.
