Mission: To provide life long care for senior/special needs/hospice rescue golden retrievers transferred to the sanctuary from nationwide 501(c) 3 golden retriever rescue programs, in a communal, home like setting where their emotional, social and medical needs are met. Those with emotional or physical challenges that make adoption inappropriate or unlikely or that need hospice care will receive additional positive life experience opportunities. To provide supported adoption service when a special home is found that meets the unique needs of an appropriate senior rescue golden retriever resident of the sanctuary. To provide training opportunities for dogs of all breeds and their caregivers in such specialty areas as therapy dog certification, dog/children reading programs and other supportive and innovative dog/human programs. To provide animal welfare education programs for the public of all ages at the sanctuary and in the community. To help guide 501(c) 3 rescue programs throughout the count
