Causes: Homeless & Housing, Homeowners & Tenants Associations
Mission: To develop and maintain facilities and services for the community areas of laguna woods village, exclusive of housing areas, and to operate the community facilities to provide various community-wide services as an integral portion of this senior citizens community.
Programs: Provided educational and informative broadcasts of city and community news, community board and city council meetings, and educational programs. Community news, board meetings, and special meetings are provided with closed-captioning. For 2010, provided broadcasts: >promoting healthy living and safety, such as exercise and fitness programs, health and memory tips, and disaster financial scams perpetrated against the senior population; >promoting recreational activities, such as golf instruction, bridge tips, musical variety programs and local entertainment; >providing various other topics such as home caregiver service, fire safety, water conservation, security, as well as produce public services announcements for the betterment of the community. Provided internet access.

Provided on-site classes that included arts and crafts, gardening, swimming, physical fitness (yoga, pilates, etc. ), investments, and management. Provided fitness centers, computer learning centers, facilities for visual and performing arts and for sports. Provided sporting events, theme parties, dinners, and dances. Provided a full-service lending library. Hosted scientific and health-related lecture.
provided security patrol services, traffic patrol, security surveillance, and defensive driving classes. This year implemented a disaster plan, which debuted at a mock disaster drill during the great california shake-out.
