This is an amazing group that I worked with for 4 years and fostered for. An amazing group of people that make a huge difference in the lives of the dogs that they help and the families that they create. Not being able to work with them is the saddest part of leaving San Francisco. If I was back in NorCal, I would be volunteering with them in a heartbeat.

Mission: To encourage and promote responsible dog ownership. To promote humane treatment of labrador retrievers, and to provide educational services to the public about responsible dog ownership.
Programs: Gglrr facilitates the placement of unwanted labrador retrievers into loving new homes. We have a spay/neuter requirment for all dogs that we place. If a dog has been abused or needs medical attention, we provide emotional and medical rehabilitation. Our primary purpose is to provide good homes for labrador retrievers who otherwise might be abandoned or euthanisized by their previous owners. Through education, we seek to reduce the unwanted dog population and increase responsible pet ownership.
