Causes: Food, Food Banks & Pantries
Mission: The specific and primary purpose is to operate a food collection, preservation, and distribution system for the benefit of needy individuals and non-profit charitable corporations.
Programs: Food is distributed countywide through five programs. Our affiliated agencies serve over 100 churches, missions, and shelters. Our after school program serves 30 after school and summer programs provideing snack for participating students. Our food for thought program serves families of school children at over 115 participating schools. Through harvest time agencies we serve over 70 government agencies and non-profit organizations that identify those in need of emergency food. Our senior snack program serves low-income seniors at 24 sites.
