Mission: Helping golden retrievers and their owners in central texas by taking in golden retrievers from shelters and surrendering owners, assessing and addressing any health and training issues, educating and screening potential adopters, educating and training foster homes to assess and address health and training/behavioral issues, and placing golden retrievers into new adoptive homes.
Programs: Took in 149 golden retrievers from shelters and owners who no longer wanted them and made them healthy and adoptable and placed them in loving homes.
placed 109 golden retrievers into new homes and provided adoptive families with information and support to care for their dogs appropriately.
performed educational outreach to the community through educational presentations, educational booths at informational fairs and events, work with other rescues, and gold ribbon rescue events and training.
health, nutritional and behavior education and information provided to public contacts via 563 applications for adoption and memberships.
