I am a new social worker and recently took over for a long-time, much loved social worker who brought the Kart 4 Kids to our hospital after learning about this resource at a national conference. Having the Kart available has helped me "break the ice" with many of our patient and families as their new social worker! I have heard from many patients already that getting to pick something from the kart is what the look forward to the most when coming to our facility. Thank you so much for offering such a thoughtful service!

The kindness and generosity from Go4theGoal has been an absolute blessing to our families during the most difficult time in their lives. Not only does Go4theGoal help many families going through pediatric cancer keep their utilities on, they also donated back-to-school gift bags for our kids this year. Back-to-school supplies are expensive and Go4theGoal helped alleviate this burden from our families. Every family was very grateful for this kindhearted and generous gift. Thank you to Go4theGoal and everyone who supports them. Your support makes a big difference to our families!

As the VBS Director at Abundant Life Fellowship Church, I’m always on the lookout for meaningful ways to inspire our children and teach them the values of giving back and community service. This year, I decided to shake things up a bit for our Mission Rotation by inviting an organization that truly embodies these values.

In my search for a group that could come and share their incredible work with our kids, I discovered Karts 4 Kids. From the moment I learned about their mission—bringing joy and comfort to children battling cancer with their thoughtful toy collections—I was deeply moved. I reached out to them with an invitation to speak at our VBS program, and I was thrilled by how quickly they responded with enthusiasm and willingness to join us.

Our students were captivated by their talk and moved by their commitment to helping others. The interactive session was both educational and motivational, and it perfectly aligned with our mission to teach the values of kindness and service.

We are so grateful for their participation and the invaluable lessons they brought to our program.

Their visit has left a lasting impact on our VBS program, and we are excited to see how the lessons learned will inspire our students to make a difference in their own unique ways. Thank you, Kart for Kids, for being a beacon of hope and for demonstrating the true meaning of community spirit. We look forward to supporting your mission and watching the positive ripple effects of your incredible work!

With deep appreciation,

We have the honor of having a Go4thegoal Kart in our outpatient clinic at Banner UMC in Tucson, Arizona. We bring this kart around to help bring joy and happiness to our patients and their families. We can't say enough about how wonderful this Foundation is and how many lives they have touched. They do this by simply putting smiles on the faces of children undergoing cancer treatment on difficult, long, and hard days. This kart helps make these hard days more bearable. The kart provides a well needed distraction and something tangible, yummy, and positive. We appreciate all that you do and look forward to continuing to work with this amazing foundation.

Referring them to Go 4 The Goal has lessened their burden and allowed them to focus on what matters most to them, their child. Go 4 The Goal staff are super responsive and reliable. After 29 years as a high school athletic trainer, I have been extremely blessed to work for Go4theGoal for the past eight years. I learned about Go4theGoal when my best friend's son was battling Ewing's sarcoma. I was able to see firsthand the commitment and dedication to a cause that had only recently become so important to me personally. When it was time to leave my first career behind Go4theGoal very quickly became the obvious next step. I have been continually amazed at the passion for patients and families, the speed at fulfilling requests for assistance, and the efficiency and level of customer service that is off the charts. What an honor it has been for me to be part of this group. How many charitable organizations have 100% of all donations going to the cause? How many have executive directors who don't take a penny for their efforts? How many make sure that patients and families have what they need in absolute record time? I am so proud to have worked with these people and to count them as dear friends. Go4theGoal deserves all the stars in the sky not just the five on this review. Keep doing what you do so well.

We have worked with Go4thegoal Foundation every year for several years now, raising several thousand dollars each time. The staff at Go4thegoal Foundation are extremely helpful and supportive. The web-site and team pages are simple to set up and use. The support staff provide whatever assistance and support you need to make your campaign as successful as possible. It has allowed our team and community to band together and help those in need.

The program itself is wonderful. It provides support for families in a secure and confidential manner, tailoring the assistance to the needs of each specific case. Their 24-hour turn-around time helps those in need obtain assistance in a timely manner as well.

I have worked with Go4theGoal over the past five years by first getting the high school soccer team I coach involved in their Lace Up campaign and that relationship has now developed into a full fledged charity event that now includes 10-12 teams from our conference. They make getting involved so easy and so rewarding. I will be forever grateful for their partnership. Regardless of the type of season we are having, good or bad, regardless of the individual outcomes of games, our work together has always been a silver lining to what can sometimes be a difficult and tiring season. Their platform is simple to use in both collecting donations and tracking progress. I highly recommend Go4theGoal for anybody who is looking for an easy and rewarding way to get involved with a very worthy cause.

Go 4 the Goal has been a lifesaver for families coping with pediatric cancer during this year of rising costs for groceries and gas. For families having to drive excessive miles in a week just to get their child treatment or face copays and insurance deductibles in the hundreds of dollars every month, just keeping the heat and lights on and food on the table is a struggle. Not only has Go 4 the Goal helped to keep those utilities on by paying bills for families dealing with pediatric cancer, they gave families the most amazing Holiday baskets with a truly generous gift card. The gift cards helped parents give their children a great Christmas during a difficult time and every family was moved by the awesome generosity. Thank you to all who have helped Go 4 the Goal ease the stress for our families during oncology treatment.

I just wanted to reach out to say a BIG THANK YOU to Go4the goal Foundation, they truly make a different in family's lives! I work as a social worker in one of the children's Hospitals and so thankful for their support. One of their many programs is the Giving Tree where they provide gift cards to families inpatient during the holiday week. This was the first year I have been part of passing out the gifts and several of the families brought tears to my eyes with their joy of having a gift to soften the hardship of being in the hospital over the holidays. Families were so appreciative. X-Box- teenager was so excited to buy a game for her and her brother, they could play together once she discharged. Uber card for a family that doesn’t have reliable transportation in case of an emergency. Another teen who wanted a Sephora card for her mom…encouraged her to get something for herself too. The Giving Tree brought a lot of joy to families inpatient. Thanks again! Truly special program.

Go4thegoal Foundation provides happy moments for our patients! These moments happen each and every time a patient gets to choose a special toy from their cart, "Kart4Kids". Not only do they provide toys, but they also always send us unique toys that are not already donated to us by another source. We feel they take pride in selecting what to buy for our patients, truly keeping up with the current trend. They also are in the know when it comes to teens. From lights for their room, fun chap sticks and nail polish, to gift cards. This past Christmas it was our first year to utilize their giving tree. They provided a small tree that fit on their cart, and multiple gift cards with an amazing selection for our patients to enjoy. It brought smiles to every room and every patient encounter. We can't express enough, the gratitude we have for this wonderful foundation! The Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Akron Children's Hospital thanks you!

Go 4 the Goal Foundation has supported our families at Nemours Children's Health in more ways than one. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, a family experiences various hardships, one being financial stress. Go 4 the Goal has assisted many of our families when they are finding it difficult to balance all of life's expenses with the added cost of having a child in and out of the hospital regularly. Recently, G4G helped us spread lots of joy to our patients that were unfortunately in the hospital over the holidays. We walked room to room with one wagon full of toys and one with a Christmas Tree full of gift cards! The children and their families absolutely LOVED it. This was all possible thanks to G4G's donation.

Go 4 the Goal is constantly supporting our families during impossible times. They take away some of that worry and allow families to focus on caring for their child. G4G brings so many smiles and Nemours Oncology Department is so grateful to be able to partner with them!

As a pediatric oncology social worker, I have witnessed that Go 4 the Goal bring many smiles to the kids admitted to UNM Hospital in Albuquerque. The item request gives them something to look forward to, and then to use, during long admissions. Go 4 the Goal team members are easy to get ahold of, turn around time is extremely quick, and we've been impressed at the dollar amount they are willing to cover.
I only wish there were more partners and donations from our state (NM) so that families could benefit from financial assistance.
Thank you to the donors, fundraisers, and staff at Go 4 the Goal for all that you do! Know that you make hard days a little brighter with your work.

Our high school varsity softball team has been hosting an annual "Lace Up for Pediatric Cancer" softball tournament for the last five years. When I first began planning and researching which foundation we should work with, Go 4 the Goal was brought to my attention. I was put into contact with Karen Flint who has been so helpful. She makes sure all teams who participate in our tournament get laces and keeps everyone updated. She is always so happy to hear from me every spring when she hears we are again having our event.

After the first year we had this event, word got around town and a Jefferson family reached out to me saying they had lost their daughter a few years back to pediatric cancer and that Go 4 the Goal had such a positive impact on their family during their difficult time. I now invite their other daughter every year to come throw our honorary first pitch in memory of her sister.

This event has grown larger every year and I have even extended it to the entire district by having an assigned "dress down day" that teachers can contribute and wear gold. We are happy to continue working with Go 4 the Goal as we know our donations are directly helping local families in NJ. We play for those who can't and I have seen first hand what a blessing this foundation can be during their time of need. We will continue to lace up every year and rock the gold!

As a hospital social worker working with pediatric oncology patients/families, it can be so impactful to work with organizations that quickly and easily offer tangible support. Go4theGoal has always been one of my go-to organizations because of their quick responses and easy applications! When juggling attempts to support the many needs of our families, having tedious applications can take away from time spent with patients. Go4theGoal has brought great relief to families who have outstanding bills and know that life's responsibilities outside the hospital don't stop with a childhood cancer diagnosis. Thank you for always being so great to work with!!

We started our journey with Go4theGoal to give our local high school kids the chance to give something to the medical community that was positive and tangible in doing good for the many peers having dealt or dealing with the cancer fight. Lodi High School Boys Basketball organized and carried out an outstanding fundraiser to benefit our local UC Davis Childress Hospital. Along the way one of their own coaches sons and teammates brother was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. Their fight was brought to their home court and these boys took it head on. With the help and direction from Karen and her team at Go4theGoal our team and high school benefitted from lacing up to make a difference for AJ and other kids at UC Davis. It was a honor to join this organization and proud doesn’t even express how we feel about our Lodi High School students and athletes. Thank you for the opportunity to join in and do something amazing!

It has been such a pleasure working with Go 4 the Goal because we can count on them to assist our pediatric oncology families with important bills. Most of our families have significantly reduced income due to their child's treatment and it's so nice to be able to rely on this organization when they have an urgent bill that needs to be paid. They are so quick to respond once I submit an application and are able to pay bills by phone which is a huge advantage especially when it is overdue and needs to be paid right away. Many organizations are unable to pay by phone so with them having the capacity to do that really helps ease our family's mind that the payment has been made instead of waiting for the check to arrive to the lender. Go 4 the Goal is one of my top 5 organizations that I refer our solid tumor families to because of their reliability and quick action. I can't imagine not working with such a great organization that makes a huge difference in our family's lives.

This charity gave my son a christmas without being asked. My son has been fighting since he was 5 months old. He just turned 2 and has had 2 relapses. I have been out of work and spent a good majority of my time in the hospital. This organization blessed us with a large gift card so I can get things my son needs like food, diapers, and clothes but also wants like monster trucks and cocomelon stuff. I reached out just to say thanks and let them know how much the gift basket and gift card made a difference and to say thank you and was offered more help if I ever need it. God bless you guys for being so generous. I was a person who gave and donated and since having my baby and now being on the other side I can tell you how much it means to receive without having to ask, especially when you still try to keep your dignity. Thank you.

Karen Flint (an incredibly dedicated woman) at Go4theGoal reached out to me this past summer to participate in "Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer," and I couldn't think of a better way to funnel our efforts into such a worthy cause. To impact another person's life, a family's life, in such a meaningful way was truly inspiring and beautiful. Today's youth are incredibly sympathetic and in tune to the needs of others, as is evidenced by the outpouring of support by their loved ones and friends.
It was an honor to "lace up" for our volleyball match and show our support and love for these children and their families. My volleyball program and I fully intend to work with Go4theGoal again next year. The work they do is important, worthy of our attention, and deserving of our support.
Thank you for the opportunity to help these families.

I am a social worker in pediatric oncology at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. We often work with patients who lose their mobility due to brain injury, and other detrimental side effects associated with cancer and its treatments. When our Physical Therapy team had the opportunity to trial the use of a new PT device, the EasyStand Chair, on patients, the affect it had was so great that PT knew we needed to have one right away, but the price tag was hefty. I immediately thought of Go4TheGoal, since they are always so easy to work with. I was not disappointed. Within 5 minutes, I had received a response, within an hour, approval for my grant request, and within days, the chair was ordered! In light of very hard circumstances of cancer, it is our mission to bring play opportunities, normalization, distraction, and joy even when we have had to limit our playrooms and the amount of toys we provide to eliminate the spread of germs.
Go4theGoal generously provided a box of absolutely incredible toys we were able to create into a mobile playroom that can go room to room to provide a fun toy for kids to play with during their long clinic visits and later take home. It has been so very helpful to have their support and donation to make this mobile playroom possible, and we are so grateful! This truly has made a positive difference. Thank you, Go4theGoal Foundation!

We can not thank Go4the goal Foundation enough! This is a very challenging time for all. Our hospitalized pediatric patients are separated from siblings and extended family members due to COVID-19. Hearing this, Go4thegoal Foundation sent boxes of activities to keep the children entertained and engaged in meaningful creative activities. Other supplies are bringing comfort to the families. We thank you, and will forever be grateful.

The Lafayette College women's soccer team has been proud to be a part of helping Go4theGoal for the past several years. We have been able to provide back to school backs, holiday gifts, valentines day baskets, and started the Karts4Kids program at our local Lehigh Valley Children's Hospital. It was amazing to see the smiles and positive impact it has had on the children and families there. We love being able to help our community and make a difference for kids with cancer. Go4theGoal's dedication to kids battling cancer and keeping it in the community where you raise the funds really makes the foundation special. We are excited to continue helping Go4theGoal and its mission.

I was familiar with Go4TheGoal Kart 4 Kids at a previous employment and have gotten to experience a different side of Go4thegoal. Now, I have been provided the opportunity to provide support and intervention as a Certified Child Life Specialist at the Maryland Proton Treatment Center. It was made possible through a grant from the Go4TheGoal Foundation. Without the grant funding, my position would not have been made possible. I am able to connect with patients and families right at the consultation phase and support them all the way through treatment. My position here provides children with cancer with the opportunity for normalization, positive coping, socialization, and provides their families with support as well. I have many goals I'm working towards here at the MPTC and I am go grateful for the opportunity to do so because of the funding. Thank you Go4TheGoal for impacting the lives of children, both directly through gifts and indirectly through funding supportive positions like mine.

I am a Social Worker at ECU - Department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology located in Greenville, NC. Go4thegoal foundation has been providing our department with Kart-4-Kids for a few months and it has been amazing. We have been utilizing this kart full of toys and snacks for our oncology patients who are receiving treatment at our Pediatric Day Unit at Vidant Medical Center. When kids (who are receiving treatment) see this kart (full of snacks and toys) their eyes often light up with excitement. Kids and families have enjoyed receiving all these goodies. I hope that we can maintain this program for years to come. Thank you so much!

I just love volunteering for Go4theGoal. Today I worked with pediatric cancer patients in an infusion center. We colored golf balls for an upcoming golf outing. The kids and their moms had so much fun working on them which distracted them during their treatment. The golfers will love playing with the balls and reading special notes written to them by the kids. Everyone always thanks me when I volunteer, but I’m the one walking away thanking everyone for giving me the opportunity to make a difference.

I wish I were able to give Go4theGoal 10 stars! I've been volunteering at Go4theGoal for the past five years, and I am so blessed to work with such passionate, caring, and kind people. Everyone who works here is attentive to every detail to ensure needs are always met, and they are always so happy and eager to do so! It's refreshing to see an organization dedicate so much care and energy to each and every project. Additionally, each Go4theGoal program is special and unique, whether it is financial assistance, research funding, Karts4Kids, or any other of their fantastic programs, and works to help multiple facets of the fight against pediatric cancer, rather than just focusing on once facet.
Thank you Go4theGoal for everything you do, for the people you help, the culture you cultivate, and example you set for other nonprofits to follow, marked by dedication, excitement, and honesty.

For the 2nd year, our school softball and baseball teams spent the day in GOLD laced cleats. Bringing awareness and raising money for pediatric cancer is close to my heart and Go4TheGoal has been able to incorporate the power of team sports and community to raise funds for the great kids and families in our areas. Nick K. at Go4TheGoal has been wonderful to deal with and super encouraging and accommodating in publicizing our not-so-small (anymore) event. Now, our entire school and local community look forward to a Saturday in May, when all their players will be rocking GOLD laces.

Dear Go4theGoal Foundation,

I have been volunteering monthly to distribute the "gift cards and toys" to the patients of Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. You may wonder why I used quotation marks. The simple answer is because your KART delivers smiles, sighs of relief and a moment that every child feels he/she has complete control. It is my sense an ill child has very little in his/her control; all those around him/her are making the decisions. However, when the KART comes around, he/she is encouraged to choose what he/she wants. The emotion I see is heartwarming. Eyes become bright, smiles are broad and giggles erupt. I love when a child says "Is this for me?"

Parents are delighted to see someone enter their child's room who needs no information, has no news to deliver and is there only for joy. They quickly ask questions to find out about this act of generosity and we answer with kindness and warmth. But mostly, the parents smile broadly, through sleepy and teary eyes and say " Thank you, this is so very thoughtful."

Thank you so much Go4theGoal Foundation and your Kart4Kids for your act of kindness. You are making a huge difference for parents, children and volunteers.

I am very grateful to have been the recipient of the Go4theGoal Child Life Fellowship at the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute. Although this fellowship is coming to an end, I am confident that what I have learned during my time at UFHPTI will be invaluable going forward in my career as a child life specialist. Throughout my fellowship, I learned how to promote effective coping in pediatric oncology patients through medical play, preparation, education, and self-expression activities. I have learned the ins and outs of proton therapy, how to best prepare and support children of all ages for their CT simulation and proton treatment, and the importance of advocating for a patient’s needs. I had the opportunity to help organize and facilitate special events to help normalize the medical environment including a Fall Festival, our Polar Express PJ Party, and bi-weekly Family Fun Nights. I am appreciative of Go4theGoal for making this Child Life Fellowship experience possible. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to further my learning and the ability to grow and develop as a child life specialist; I will be forever grateful.

My name is Brian Figueiredo, and I’m the head girls soccer coach at Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren, NJ. I recently organized a high school girls event that pitted the top teams from the Skyland Conference against the top teams from the Shore Conference. We decided to select a charity to raise funds for, and all the coaches agreed that Go4theGoal would be the charity.

I worked extensively with Go4theGoal for roughly 8 months, organizing every aspect of this event together. The professionalism that every member displayed was second to none, and not only were they committed to raising as much money for pediatric cancer as they could, they also were dedicated in helping the coaches run a first class soccer event.

The Mountains vs The Seas was an enormous success. Not only was it an incredible day of high school girls’ soccer, but we ended up raising almost $52,000 for children and their families, afflicted with pediatric cancer. The event could never have gotten off the ground without Go4theGoal’s tireless efforts, and it was an honor and pleasure to work side by side with them throughout the entire process.

Karen Flint, a representative for Go4TheGoal, has attended the event each year to watch and she even hands out prizes and shirts for our top runners. Go 4 the Goal Foundation is an amazing group that is making a tremendous impact in the effort to find new ways to treat pediatric cancer. As a physician-scientist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institution, I reached out to Go 4 the Goal Foundation with a brand new research idea that desperately needed some seed funding to get off the ground. Go 4 the Goal Foundation generously supported our idea and we have now turned that idea in numerous new projects. We hope that this work will lead us to utilize simple blood samples to perform complex profiling of pediatric tumors using a technology known as "liquid biopsy". As a pediatric oncologist and cancer biologist, I am dedicated to identifying the genetic drivers of childhood cancers and revealing the function of these genes. Knowledge about cancer causing genes including their normal roles in development can help us find new therapeutics that are targeted and personalized. Go4thegoal has supported my research investigating the developmental and cancer-related functions of a novel cancer gene called AF1q. We have found this gene to drive tumor formation in neuroblastoma, a terrible malignancy of childhood. We have discovered that this gene prevents cell aging, also called senescence, which may be one of the reasons why it promotes cancer cell survival. With funds from Go4thegoal we have also created a mouse lacking AF1q, and the fact that it survives shows that it may be possible to target this gene therapeutically. Thanks to Go4thegoal, this critical research is now moving forward! Thank you so much!

This foundation is amazing. They were never pushy to get started but whenever i had a question they were there to help me out. We held their Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer event, and chose to sell their wrist bands and shoelaces, as well as held a raffle to raise extra money for the cause. 100% of our donations stayed in the state to help out kids, and 80% of the laces/bands sales did the same. Here is a synapses of our day:

DJ, a student battling cancer from a local elementary school, was able to come out and be a part of the day. He was our honorary captain and threw out the first pitch of the game. It was a really cool moment for me as a coach to see all of my boys out there making this tremendous kid feel like part of the team. Even the other team came out of the dugout and cheered him on as he warmed up for his first pitch. When we walked out to the field to throw for real, I asked him how far he wanted to through from (being a 4th grader I was expecting maybe 20 or 30 feet) but to my surprise DJ wanted to throw it from the actual pitcher's mound 60 feet away! And he did a great job! If that was the end of the story I would have been a happy camper that day, but it just kept getting better.

One of the ways that we raised money for the game was through a raffle, all of the prizes were donated by local groups and companies. One of the Prizes was a PlayStation 4 and two games to go with it, donated by Van Buren Area Little League. The person who won the raffle, and chose that prize, was one of my players (junior) Jayden. Right after he picked out the prize he asked DJ to come over and talk for a second. Jayden asked him if he had one of those at home, and DJ said no. Then without hesitation Jayden gave his prize away to a very excited and deserving DJ Turner.

Those are the moments that I will never forget as long as I coach. I explained to my players that this is what we want to be known for. Good, hard working, respectful gentlemen that make a difference in their community; and who just so happen to be good baseball players.

We raised around $850 and while that is amazing, it was more about the community out reach and the feeling my players were able to get for helping out such a great cause through a great foundation!

Also, all of the funds that are raised through Go4theGoal's events are kept in the area that raised them. I believe this gives people the opportunity to feel that they are making a difference in the lives of the children within their own community!

Go 4 the Goal worked with a family of ours to provide his end of life wish for a trip to Disneyland with his family. They went above and beyond to make this trip special for the family at the last minute! They booked a concierge level suite at a Disney Based hotel and coordinated with staff at the Disney hotel so the family would receive special treatment and be treated like royalty. Even though the patient received a Make a Wish (which disqualifies the family from most other organizations), Go 4 the Goal facilitated this special end of life trip to make memories with his family.

Our institution, the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute, received a $66,000 grant from the Go4TheGoal Foundation to launch a child life clinical fellowship program. This fellowship will allow us to employ two child life fellows, with each fellowship lasting 12 months over a two-year period. As patient population increases, the program will add additional resources to support children going through cancer treatment and their families.

We are thrilled to partner with Go4TheGoal to offer comprehensive training to future child life specialists as well as the opportunity to expand our own program. Combining advanced proton therapy technology with comprehensive child life programming allows us to provide the highest-quality care for all our pediatric patients with cancer.

Our child life specialist works one-on-one with children throughout treatment to promote effective coping through medical play, preparation and education. This dedicated approach results in less emotional distress, better overall coping during treatment, a clearer understanding of procedures, and a more positive physical recovery and post-treatment adjustment.

We are so appreciative of the foundation's generosity and are enthusiastic about the benefits that this fellowship will provide to our pediatric patients with cancer and their families!

Hi! My name is Bryan Dickerson and I am a Senior at Rowan University. I am also heavily involved with a student base club called Rowan Television Network (RTN) and within the club every year RTN host their annual 5hr live broadcast in benefiting a non-profit charity in trying to raise as much money as possible. For this year's RTN Telethon the charity was Go 4 The Goal an amazing local charity in Cherry Hill, NJ. As Erin Cahill and myself (Bryan Dickerson) were the Co-Executive Producers for this year's 10th Annual Telethon in overseeing the production from beginning to end. We started planning for this event in December and just finished yesterday April 5th. Erin and I decided to select Go 4 The Goal because this charity was near and deer to Erin's heart and once I meet the staff for G4G, I knew this would be the perfect charity selection. G4G is an amazing charity as they are trying there best every day to help children, families, and students who have or know someone who may be suffering from pediatric cancer. By either donating grants/funds to families, donating toys to brighten the spirit of children, creating fundraiser to raise money etc. However, it's not until you meet the children in person that has pediatric cancer that touches your heart and makes you want to help in any way possible because no child or family should have to go through the process of pediatric cancer at a young age. This is one of the many main reasons for why Erin and I selected G4G as our Telethon charity. To help G4G in anyway possible to help them improve the lives of the children and families they know suffering. With that being said I know that everyone that reads this review will be encourage and motivated to help Go 4 The Goal because last name at the Telethon we raise as much as we could for a total of $5,590 within 5hrs but that's still not enough. Everyone please continue to help fight pediatric cancer and improve children lives one by one!

Go 4 The Goal Foundation has been a wonderful addition to our Pediatric Unit at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY. Since meeting with Beth, all the staff members have worked around the clock to provide our Hospital with the materials and resources our Oncology patient's desperately needed. We previously did not have any tablets for the patient's to utilize during their stay or, for procedural distraction. Go 4 the goal provided us with one IPAD and two Amazon Kindle tablets which the patient's have been extremely thrilled about. I cannot express the gratitude I have and the huge smile on our patient's faces when they know they are able to borrow a Tablet. We also received two large bins filled with toys and board games to keep our patient's entertained and provide them with bravery reward prize after completed treatments and procedures. This has provided them with a distraction and positive reinforcement for compliance with medications and procedures. It has only been two days since our donation was provided but, I have already utilized so much. As the only Child life Specialist on the Unit, I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for our patients. All the medical staff here at RUMC are extremely grateful for this donation and look forward to continue working with this foundation in the future.

New video games and toys throughout the patient areas and a special area for teens to play games or just chat. Total amazement!!!! I submitted an email and within minutes I had a reply in my inbox. I was blown away by their prompt response. Beth Stefanacci was incredibly understanding, making the process extremely organic. I sent an email sharing the story of Alec Zabala Corzo who was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer only a month ago. Unfortunately when they found the cancer he was already at stage 4. My daughter Vanessa wanted to do something special for him so I started the research and I found Go4thegoalfoundation listed on the Dynamo page. Alec is an avid soccer player so I thought trying to get a pro soccer player to give him a surprise visit would be super cool for him. Beth was responsible for making that wish come true. Within a day she had confirmed that someone form the Dynamos would visit Alec in the coming days. On February 27th, Tyler Deric came to visit Alec in the hospital. Tyler was super cool, made Alec feel super comfortable. He even dared him to a XBOX FIFA game. It was so fun to see him just chilling int he room having a good time. Tyler became one of Alec's friends during his visit and that was very cool to see. I am extremely grateful for the support and dedication of both Go4thegoalfoundation and the Houston Dynamos for giving Alec some joy during this very difficult times. Go4theGoal made it incredibly easy to raise money for such a worthy cause. With just a little work on my end I was able to set up a donation page and have all the players on my team join and create. We exceeded out goal because it was so easy to share the pages and get donations.

Any time I had any questions they were quick to respond and they made everything easy. If you want to raise money for Pediatric Cancer, this is the group to do it with!

When we became aware of the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for kids with cancer that are being treated locally we knew we could make an impact!

When we announced to our coaches, players, and families that we were taking part in this event the support and interest was even greater than we expected. Many people are impacted by pediatric cancer and this cause seemed to really hit home for our players and families. It was also a way to easily introduce the idea of philanthropy and giving back to our young players, and many of them became our most vocal supporters! Doing this on a club-wide basis, and encouraging full teams to buy and participate, made a great statement for our club on the event day. Plus, at just $5.00 a pair to get involved it allowed anyone who was interested to participate in the event. Our parents, players, and coaches displayed great pride showing off their laces and it helped to reinforce our club’s message about the importance of being engaged in and giving back to our communities.

Finally, not only is this a great cause to support it is also very easy to administer and a fun and visible event to be a part of. We would highly recommend Go4theGoal’s Lace Up for Pediatric Cancer event to any youth sport organization that wants to give back to their community!

Go 4 The Goal has been a phenomenal organization to work with. They are responsive and are quick to help in a pinch. While they provide financial support to our oncology patients/families they are also, on occasion able to help with fun requests such as toys or items to help keep patients busy during long term hospitalizations. They recently sent one of our patients a Lego kit, The Tower Bridge of London to build. The patient has it almost half completed and just beams when talking about how fun it is to put together. Thank you Go 4 The Goal for helping not only with financial hardships during pediatric oncology treatments but for helping improve the quality of life for our young patients during long term hospitalizations. We hope to continue our work with Go 4 The Goal and appreciate everything they do for our patients, families, and other children's healthcare organizations around the country.

Here at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia we consider ourselves to be fortunate to partner with pediatric oncology foundations such as Go 4 The Goal because they assist us in our efforts to serve families best. Go 4 The Goal recently provided several families with the opportunity to attend a Philadelphia Soul game. This was a wonderful opportunity for families to see an exciting sporting event and to spend quality time with one another. We are so appreciative of all that Go 4 The Goal does in support of families impacted by pediatric cancer.

Go 4 The Goal has been an incredible foundation to work with. Our patients and families benefit from both the financial assistance they provide, as well as the Karts 4 Kids program. Go 4 The Goal makes their processes easy to use and I am always amazed at their quick turnaround time. The financial assistance we can access has been critical to meeting the needs of our families, who often struggle making ends meet when their children are regularly in the hospital or clinic, or the family faces loss of an income. Go 4 The Goal is reliable and I can always count on them to help when a need arises.

The Karts 4 Kids program has been such a fun program to implement into our hospital unit. The Kart has been an opportunity to motivate our patients with prizes or to cheer up a patient when they are having a rough day. The Kart provides fun and interactive games and toys, as well as soft, plush items. Go 4 The Goal keeps us well stocked and the patients always have a great array of items to choose from.

Go 4 The Goal has proven to be a dependable and caring organization, committed to assisting families in need and making patients smile. Thank you Go 4 The Goal!!

We currently have 8 beds in our bone marrow transplant unit and every week we go around with our cart and go make our patients smile! The kids get to pick out their favorite prize after a week of treatment and since most of them are here for very long periods of time, it is a perfect opportunity for them to be rewarded for all of their patience and bravery.”

As an pediatric oncology social worker, I have been along side families whose children are going through very difficult times. It goes without saying how difficult the treatment is on the child but I believe it is even more difficult on the parent for many reasons. Supporting their child during treatment is only part of the concern. With most families, one of the parents usually has to leave work to care for their child. This drop in income causes a great deal of financial hardship for the family. This hardship is doubled when it involves a single parent being the caregiver. One of my responsibilities is to seek out foundations who are able to support the family during this time.
This year, during the holiday season, I supported many newly diagnosed families who were so anxious about not being able to provide a Christmas for their family. I submitted a referral to Go 4 the Goal for one family. I did remind the family of the fact I was not sure how much of the child's wish list could be fulfilled by G4TG. The family stated they would be grateful for any assistance they would receive.
On the day of the delivery, when I called the parents in to my office, the Mom began to cry and Dad did his best not to join her. They took everything out of the bags and were so excited showing each other the items. They looked like children opening gifts on Christmas morning. They could not say thank you enough and I reminded them it was not me, but G4TG, who is giving their children a Christmas.
I feel so blessed to be the conduit for such a wonderful foundation. They never hold back and they're giving far exceeds anything any one would or should expect.
I am thanking you, not only from me but for my families. Wishing you all the best in the coming year!

Here at Children's Hospital Colorado when the Kart-4-Kids pulls up to a patient's door something magical happens.

It never fails to pause a cry, ease a procedure, or prompt a patient (who might not otherwise be inclined) to hop out of bed to lauch a serious shopping spree. It always produces a laugh or a smile in what might be a "rough" day, it can give a family a much welcome change up to Chipotle for dinner, and even provide a small but so much appreciated assist for a family who might not be able to afford some small necessity that we might take for granted.

Working with the people from The Go-4-the-Goal Foundation has been an incredible. experience. It doesn't matter if you are talking to them on the phone, communicating thru email, or personally spending time with them in an onchology unit, the feeling is always the same. These are the most caring, dedicated, and effective people you could ever hope to team up with. They just plain "get it".

We come across Go4theGoal in an email from the athletics coordinator inviting our Travel Baseball teams to host a "Gold Event" to help raise money for Pediatric Cancer. What they didnt know is that we not only have Travel Baseball teams, but are a Tournament host each year for the Jaguars Memorial Tournament, where 96 Baseball teams from all over Ohio and neighboring states compete in Grove City, Ohio. Each year we like to make our event a great baseball experience for all teams involved, but also to highlight the amazing opportunity we have to come together and help others. Each year we have focused our efforts to different local charities, but felt that we could not do as much as possible due to managing such a large event.

the 2015 Jaguars Memorial Tournament was a "Gold Event" with Go4theGoal. They made it simple on us as tournament directors, just a few emails, they handled the rest! The event was very succesfull, and we generated more this year for Charity than any year past! All Jaguars Tournaments will be "Gold Events" with Go4theGoal!

As the social worker for a children's hospital, I love Go4TheGoal! They offer our families who are already emotionally overwhelmed by what's going on with their kids a resource - bill help - when it's needed most. Many of my families have had to quit a job (or got fired) because they were at the hospital with their sick child. They're worried with how am I going to pay the rent so my son or daughter has a home to return to. G4TG alleviates that concern in that moment so they can focus on their child's illness and helping them get better! I specifically like how fast the turn-around response is (24 hours or less usually). Again, it eases a parent's weight immediately! I found out through the internet that a local teen who plays basketball had been diagnosed with Leukemia. I seached the internet and found go4thegoal. I loved the idea of selling showlaces to our towns children and sports team. It seemed to me like an easy thing to sell and something that the kids could use. Beth at Go4thegoal was so helpful and kind on the phone. I picked up laces the same day I made my first phone call to her. I had everything I needed to get started. That night in a few hours I sold 20 laces to a few people at a basketball game. People were so generous and so supportive and loved the laces and the bracelets. I was able to take pictures and post them on media sites so that our local teen that was battling leukemia could see that we were there for him and supporting him. It just took one phone call to get the ball rolling it couldn't have been any easier.

I am on the board for FCProvidence Soccer Club in PA. We decided to support Pediatric Awareness Month in September. I found Go 4 the Goal by searching for the gold sock with the gold ribbon. What a great way to generate awareness. The kids wore them to all of their games during the month of September. In addition, Go 4 the Goal sent us merchandise to sell to raise funds for a very important cause. It was great to get the children and families involved in this effort. Even families from the opposing teams not only contributed but also thanked us for supporting such a great cause.

Go 4 the Goal also allows you to choose where the funds go, which was very important to us. They were a pleasure to work with by providing all of the information and materials, as well as excellent communication.

The reason why we got involved in this wonderful cause is a few years ago our oldest son was having some health issues, we took him to the doctors the him some blood work, the warned us what they were testing for and one of the things on the list was childhood cancer. We waited a week for the results it was the longest week of our lives, it turned out he had mono. I can't imagine what these young cancer patients and their families go through. During the opening weekend of Ivy League play each University wore their laces and home sites decorated their fields. Personally, the Princeton Tigers were extremely excited to wear their laces and headbands to help generate awareness for an outstanding cause. The players were thrilled to support an organization that represents something truly meaningful. Wow! Go4theGoal went above and beyond to grant a dying wish to a young girl who wished to meet Winter the Dolphin in Tampa, FL. I sent Go4thegal an email on a Friday afternoon and we had the trip planned by Saturday afternoon. They were flexible, caring and professional. They made the arrangements without hesitation and took on the child's wish without looking back. There were some obstacles to jump during the planning process, but Go4thegoal jumped them and went on. By the end of the weekend the trip was planned. A girl traveled from Chattanooga, TN to Tamp, F: with her parents and 2 brothers. They found them a hotel on the beach, the family had never seen the beach. They made sure money was not an issue. They allowed the family to meet Winter the Dolphin and make happy memories before she left this earth. The girl tried shrimp for the first time and went to the spa for her first time. She enjoyed floating in the pool with her brothers and sitting in the hot tub with her mom and being with her Daddy. Thank you Go4thegoal for making my job so rewarding. I was able to tell the family about your foundation and tell her about the amazing trip you had planned. I will not forget her fave when I showed her the video to the hotel.

I have worked mostly with young athletes in the area to participate in the "Lace Up for Pediatric Cancer" campaign, and I have seen the impact and inspiration of many young soccer players doing their part in the fight against pediatric cancer. Go4TheGoal has helped to change the lives of many young children battling cancer, but they also give young athletes a means to help in the fight. This is a personal battle worth the effort at all levels. It is a privilege to work with Go4TheGoal and the brave children fighting each day.

I've had several opportunities to work directly with Nan Kelly at Go 4 the Goal, and based on those experiences, I can honestly say that G4G is filled with incredibly hardworking and compassionate individuals. Coupled with clear goals and a diverse set of programs, it's easy to understand how Go 4 the Goal continues to unify a massive front in the struggle against pediatric cancer. With a clear commitment and the continued support of like minded philanthropists across the county, Go 4 the Goal will continue to improve the lives of children struggling with cancer for years to come.

Go4theGoal does so many amazing projects for these patients. It is not only amazing and but also very inspiring to see how much work the board members and volunteers do to make this organization run with success. Each one of them give 110% to everything Go4theGoal. Everything from their runs to golf outings and hospital visits, helps to show how much they truly care about these young children fighting hard battles.

I truly don't think I know of a better non-profit organization than Go4theGoal. I have seen firsthand the devastating effects of pediatric cancer on a teenager and his family. I have gotten to know Beth Stefanacci on a personal level as she and the Go4theGoal family reached out to this family so soon after her own tragic loss. And I know that that is only ONE family that has been touched by the generosity and love of this incredible organization. I am amazed at the determination and tireless energy shown by Beth and Go4theGoal as they fight to help children and their families. They exemplify the "NEVER QUIT" spirit seen in so many of the children that are battling this horrific disease. I am honored to help them in whatever small way I can.

I have worked with Go4thegoal Foundation for the past 2 years, since learning about it at a national conference. They are so personable and available which for me is very important. They have provided laptops to 2 of my patients who needed to stay connected with school and friends during treatment and also worked with me on a special final wish request for a young adult. The families have been overwhelmingly impressed with the generosity from Go4thegoal and in each case have been moved to tears as I have explained this wonderful organization to them. I am grateful to have this Foundation on my list of helpful foundations who go above and beyond for patients who truly need the assistance.

Our Program has worked with GO4thgoal over the last two years. We started with selling laces for a boy in a neighboring town. This past season we had a child in our town and Go4thgoal was outstanding!

We were supplied with lacecs, information, banners. We were able to raise over $5,000 for the local family in a short amount of time. Go4thegoal help support several fundraisers beyond that initial event.

The people at the foundation truly care and work with you in any way possible. Extremely friendly and flexible.

Looking to coordinate several events this upcoming season.

Go4thegoal Foundation has enlightened me to the possibilities available for families dealing with the devastation of pediatric cancer. The strength and love required for the fight is at the core of this Foundation. Beth and her Go4thegoal family have really opened doors for children to help them and their families live and grow in love and support. They work tirelessly, month after month trying to reach as many people as possible. The children amazing! My husband and I will continue to work humbly with Go4thegoal -and we do so with grace.

I first got connected with Go4theGoal when my student who recently graduated from Jackson Liberty HS was diagnosed with bone cancer back on Christmas Eve. Her aunt is in the medical field and knew someone who was connected with them. Within a day, I heard from Beth Stefanacci and from our telephone conversation I could tell how much they wanted to help our student. In the next few days, Go4theGoal donated a new laptop which thrilled my student. In the weeks to follow, Beth took the time to travel all the way to Jackson to meet with me and a few colleagues about ways we could fundraise to help our student. The compassion and enthusiasm Beth showed was truly amazing and I am so glad I got to meet her. She sent us bracelets and gold colored shoe laces that were able to use to raise money.
Later on in the spring, Go4theGoal arranged for our student to throw out the first pitch at the Lakewood Blue Claws minor league baseball game. Beth and her staff are amazing and we are so appreciative of their efforts. They have made a difference and we will always be grateful.

Our Spring Varsity Sports at Oswego HS did a weekend event where all our teams wore the laces and raised money. Our girls soccer team worked with Oswego East and did a great job raising money and awareness with an all day event that included activities, scrimmages, and events. It was a very good experience for our students and we hope to make it an annual event at Oswego High School.

Go4TheGoal has given patients of The Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders a huge technology boost this holiday season. We were fortunate to place third in their Holiday Wish contest and they have provided our patients with an amazing amount of resources. We now have Leap Pads for little patients which are a great distraction tool. We also received iPads and Mac Book Pros for the kids to use while in clinic or during an inpatient stay. Patients are able to chronicle their treatment, take pictures and videos of their journey, or just use apps to help pass the time they spend in the hospital. Truly technology is such a vital part of the lives of children and adolescents today, any program who hopes to truly connect and reach the younger generation has to have technology as part of their resources for patients. Peers are a definite lifeline for our patients. This technology allows our patients to stay connected to classmates, friends, and relatives which is paramount to preventing isolation and depression which all too often can affect our patients. I cannot say enough about the Go4theGoal Foundation and how their hard work is impacting so many of our patients each and every day! Thank You! The staff are also amazing!

The Tomorrows Children's Fund won honorable mention in this years essay contest . Our extraordinary patients received 6 IPads to be used during their stay at the hospital. There are no words to describe the difference the IPads makes in our patients lives. During very painful procedures many of our patients no longer require anesthesia as the IPad provides an extraordinary distraction during thes procedures. They also make a long day of chemotherapy much more bearable as the time flies while they play games and email their friends. The families of the TCF have received an abundance of help, support and enormous assistance from this incredible organization. The words THANK YOU can never explain our gratitude to the wonderful people who run this orgaization!!!

This wonderful organization has truly made a difference in the lives of our children. As founder and executive director of Tomorrows Children's Fund, I have had the pleasure of meeting many people who join hands with us to help our children who are fighting cancer. Go 4 the Goal does what no other group has done - they have met the wishes and needs of our patients by providing amazing electronic gifts. The foundation created a "laptop" library with charging station enabling our patients to have the use of a Mac laptop while they are in the medical center. This past Holiday season our pediatric oncology unit at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital participated in the G4G essay contest. Although we did not win, the experience of generating the essay and applying was a gift in itself. The Foundation then surprised all of the Hospitals that had entered the contest with donating i-pads for the unit- What a true gift & blessing! We were thrilled to hear this news & even more excited when the 4 i-pads arrived for the unit. We have used 1 i-pad for our music therapist, using musical expression as an outlet of coping. 1 i-pad has gone to our fulltime unit volunteer teacher. He has been able to load numerous educational games/activities/programs to aide in teaching while at the Hospital. The additional 2 i-pads are being used for general school purposes on the unit and for patients to connect with family and friends at home through Skype. These electronic tools open the doors to better expression, academics, and family togetherness- We are so very thankful to Go 4 the Goal for this gift & all that they do for pediatric oncology families and patients!!!

Go4theGoal donated iPads to the Children's Blood and Cancer Center at Dell Children's Medical Center and we are so thrilled. As a Child Life Specialist, helping children to cope with procedures, the iPads are pure magic! Patients of all ages benefit from being able to play interactive games during procedures. "That's it? But, I didn't even feel it?", said a three year old who played an Elmo game during her procedure. When asked about the whether the iPad helps during procedures, an eleven year old patient responded, "The iPad helps a lot. I just think about the game and everything is easier!" Goal4thegoal Foundation made it possible for our son to realize his dream to go on a cruise to the Bahamas with his family. Diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in January, 2012, he endured surgeries and 22-week chemotherapy treatment program that lasted into July. As he went through treatment, Goal4thegoal responded with help that allowed our family to plan the cruise. This gave him a great incentive as he went through treatment, and in October he was able to step aboard the cruise ship in Port Canaveral. To our friends at the Go4theGoal foundation:

As you know, the mission behind Camp No Worries is to provide a summer camp experience solely to give children with cancer and their siblings an opportunity to relax, enjoy themselves, and forget about their troubles for one week every summer. It’s a place that allows children facing a diagnosis of cancer to just be kids. It’s a place of happiness, friendship, and new adventures. It’s a place of camaraderie and acceptance where everyone knows first-hand what it’s like to live with cancer. And it’s a true summer camp experience in every sense of the word.

In 2012, Camp No Worries celebrated its 18th year of providing children with a week of “no worries.” With the generous support of the Go4theGoal foundation we were able to take our Fight like a Girl and Wilderness Adventure programs for the teenage campers to the next level. Natalie Richardson, the Fight Like A Girl program coordinator, said the older girls loved their second year of Fight Like a Girl, which focused on empowerment, self-esteem, and support for one another. The group 'got in the ring' to discuss their strengths and weaknesses and began to understand how they have similarities and can support one another. After receiving their official Fight Like a Girl t-shirts, the girls participated in yoga to learn to strengthen their minds and bodies. The group made two crafts this year including metal stamping jewelry. The necklaces had a metal stamping piece designed by each participant, a unique bead, and boxing glove charm. The closing craft was a tree poster where every girl thumb-stamped their unique print on everyone else's tree, as a reminder that they can stand strong with each other to lean on. This program continues to develop our teenage girl campers, as they grow into mature, strong women.

Jon Bernacki, the Wilderness Adventure program coordinator, said the older boys began their adventure at their campsite and hiked some of the lesser traveled trails of Camp No Worries. They crossed Camp Inawendiwin's Betsy's Bridge then hiked along the stream through the marshes, over sphagnum moss, among the sedges and beneath the Cedar trees that give the stream its brown color. The muddy hike gave a very a different perspective than our usual hot and sandy pinelands campground. The boys ended their hike at the old lakefront beach where the boys were broken into four teams. A large bull's eye target was placed far out in the dry lakebed while the boys took turns working in teams to lob water balloons at the target using giant slingshots. The boys finished their adventure with a few games of tug-of-war across the stream. The games were a great finish and a fun way to cool off after the hike. From this program, the boys were able to walk the path less traveled, explore a unique habitat of the pinelands, and have fun working as a team while playing a variety of different games.

Go4theGoal also provided every one of our campers with a Pillow Pet and helped some of our camp families with their travel expenses to and from camp. In addition, Nick Stefanacci donated his DJ services for our Thursday evening program, which featured inflatable games for our campers. It was clear that campers, counselors, and the staff all enjoyed the music since there was a constant dance party in front of the DJ tent all night long.

Because of Go4theGoal’s support, a cancer patient who has undergone rigorous chemotherapy treatments and has been limited to a strict diet can be found singing songs at a campfire while eating S’mores. His or her sibling, who has spent much of their time at the hospital during visiting hours, can be found swimming alongside other brothers and sisters who have done the same. And still another child who has lost a brother or sister to cancer can be found making arts and crafts with a new group of friends who know exactly what they’re feeling. These children and countless more benefit from Camp No Worries each summer, but we could not provide this experience without the generosity of organizations like Go4theGoal.

We truly appreciate everything you have done for Camp No Worries this year and we are very excited about continuing this great relationship for years to come!

Sincerely,

Chris “Cal” Callanan

As the site manager of a medical arts high school I am always looking for volunteer and educational opportunities for our students in the medical field. Go4theGoal was a win-win opportunity. Our students learned about pediatric cancer through guest speakers at the school. The fact that we had a discussion about pediatric cancer made the topic more relevant to my students. The heartbreaking story of Ms. Stefanacci's son, Richard and his battle with cancer really caught all my student's attention. It was wonderful to see some of my students volunteer and donate their time and raise funds for Go4The Goal at Richard's Run. I expect we will increase our contribution next year.

Go4thegoal is an amazing organization, not only providing support to those who need it most, but also enabling and empowering people to make a difference on behalf of others. My involvement with G4G came after learning about a former student's diagnosis with cancer. Like most people, I wanted to help, but did not know where to start. Someone put me in touch with this organization and in a short time, our community was able to sell nearly 1,000 pairs of laces! They really did such an amazing job with helping out and just raising so much awareness for pediatric cancer. It seems that people do not recognize pediatric cancer until it hits close to home, it is clear that Go 4 the Goal wants to change that and with their mission and the events they do, they are the BEST organization to do that. Why do I love the Go 4 the Goal Foundation? The answer is simple: First Hand Experience and Generosity. What do I mean by this? First off, the two founders of the foundation, Mrs. Beth Stefanacci and Mr. Richard Stefanacci, began this foundation with one simple goal in mind: To help those people dealing with Ewings Sarcoma, specifically children, have an easier, less painful experience with their disease, and to help raise awareness of Ewings Sarcoma. Mr. and Mrs. Stefanacci both lost a son named Richard to this terrible disease. And in his loving memory, they have strived to not only help patients be at peace with Ewings Sarcoma, but also help families of patients cope with the difficulties of the disease that they had to deal with when their son was ill. And they have done this unbelievably by supporting numerous Ewings Sarcoma research projects at Georgetown for example, as well as donating toys, video games, and the like to patients and hospitals on a regular basis. This is a tremendous example of generosity shown by the Stefanaccis as well. They themselves have donated endless amounts of money to the foundation and it just truly shows the character of this family and what this foundation is trying to accomplish. As for the foundation as a whole, even as everyone that was to be a part of the foundation was mourning the loss of Richard, planning was already being done to help others. The whole foundation knows what it feels like to lose someone to cancer, because everyone lost Richard. But this is the reason why this foundation cares so much. Everyone in this foundation wants to help those who are going through the same difficulties that they once did.

Our son Dalton passed from Ewings Sarcoma in 2010. It is our pledge to raise awareness to this and other pediatric cancers. Raising enough funds to get our son Dalton's truck wrapped with Go4theGoal information along with a beautiful picture of our son. It is our honor to drive the truck publisizing this cause to raise awareness to pediatric cancers.

I work with many charities and causes and Go4thegoal is one of the best and most enjoyable to work with. I know the money we raise goes directly to support the children and the staff is an amazing group to work with. They have an amazing vision and are very organized in executing the vision. Their Lace-Up 4 Pediatric Initiative has impacted so many of the constituents I work with. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a cause to support to work with Go4theGoal.

I am a pediatric oncology social worker in Washington State. I couldn't believe that Go For the Goal was willing to help our patients, being on the opposite side of the country! G4G staff have always responded incredibly promptly to our requests for assistance for our families. They have been very professional and personable, and have made the process easier than any foundation I have ever come across. G4G really cares about making a difference for kids and families, and they are a joy to work with. Thank you so much for your incredible hard work!

My daughter is 16 and has Ewings Sarcoma. Go 4 the Goal provided her with a an ipad, something we now could never afford to provide for her. What a wonderful thing to be able to do for kids who have lost so much. Other children have also received their ipad and the whole group of them were all so excited! Nice to see them smile and to be so happy. Thank you Go4theGoal and Apple. Sometimes things do matter.

Go4theGoal has been amazing! I work as a Child Life Specialist in pediatric oncology and we have been so lucky to be able to work with such an amazing caring group. Go4theGoal recently donated ipads to our unit, which has been so wonderful for our patients. They love them and the ipads keep them occupied while they are inpatient. Thank you for everything!!

Go 4 the Goal supports, inspires, and consistently makes a difference in the lives of so many children with cancer and their families. Go 4 the Goal recently sponsored a survivor reunion for our pediatric bone marrow transplant patients and their families. The day was filled with food, music, and activities to celebrate the accomplishments of these incredible children and families. The day was filled with laughter, hope, and heartfelt joy. It was a magical day that would not have been possible without Go 4 the Goal. Thank you for all you do!!!

A few weeks ago I asked Beth and Tara from G4G for an IPAD for one of our Bone Marrow Transplant patients. Last week the staff was so excited to give this gift to the patient. Each day we try so hard to put a smile on the faces of our patients, but sometimes we are limited with how much we can do. Approximately two years ago, I met Ann, Beth, and Kim from Go4theGoal. This meeting sparked a wonderful relationship and as a result of the kindness of everyone at Go4theGoal, we have been able to put smiles on our patients’ faces. We have given gifts during the holidays, gifts post transplant (their new birthday), install new televisions in each patient’s room, provide MAC laptop to the patients, and last week was another great moment. Being able to give a transplant patient who did not receive a gift during the Christmas holidays an IPAD and a Gift card was so rewarding. She was so thankful, tearful, and happy. Most of our patients do not have the means to enjoy things that we take for granted, so moments like these are priceless. I am so thankful to everyone at Go4theGoal, the support that they have given us at Holtz Children’s Hospital in Miami, is more than we could ever imagine. You are always here for us throughout the year, not only during the holiday season and for that. I just want to say thank you.

I have been a pediatric social worker for over 25 years, specializing in pediatric oncology for almost 15 years. I received a phone call from the founder, Beth about 2 years ago. She came to meet me and explained how they could help some of the families I work with. She was so genuine and kind.

Well first of all, when a request is placed such as getting a computer...she or her husband deliver it to me right away...so the kids can start using it!!! Go 4the Goal understands the importance of kids communicating with their friends, school, and family. Also, they give out many tickets to go to the Union games-soccer-. Kids get an opportunity to go with their friends...and just be a normal kid.. even if it is for a few hours!!!. Go4 the Goal also makes sure I have I-touch Ipods...which I give out to the kids that go for radiation treatments, teenagers,...listening to their music makes a tough situation a bit easier. I also can't forget the surprise gift cards...when a family is having a rough day...I am able to give them a gift card so that they know someone has thought about them. I am grateful that GO4the Goal found me.....As I write this review I have a bright smile on my face as I am truly grateful for them and the ease in asking them for help!!!!

I am a child life specialist, working with hem/onc patients. There's a general sentiment among our staff that go4thegoal stands for doing things beyond our expectations. We keep getting wowed at the parties, the special gifts and how every detail is thought of with such consideration. I have a patient who became blind as a result of her treatment and wanted a guitar for her birthday. As soon as Go4thegoal heard about this, they arranged for a guitar, in her favorite color and free lessons. Without ever meeting the patient, they shared our passion to help her and went about fulfilling her wish beyond her dreams!

GO 4 THE GOAL ROCKS!!!!!!!!!! Writing from Children's National Medical Center in D.C. I am a social work graduate intern working in the Oncology unit here and been so impressed and amazed by this incredible (and very organized) group. The quick responses to request, the timely nature of receiving the actual items, the friendly nature of the people working at Go4theGoal--everything start to finish is fantastic.

I really feel like the discovery of this agency, for us, has been nothing short of a miracle. The look of pure delight and awe on the kid's faces when receiving their IPADS, or IPODS, etc, is truly something to witness. Many of these kids would never have the means to buy these items for themselves so it really is amazing work that the people at Go4theGoal are doing.

Go4theGoal is an amazing organization with a passion to help children undergoing treatment not only for Ewing Sarcoma but for other pediatric cancers as well. They are incredibly open and responsive to the needs of the various children's hospitals they support and work hard to fulfill those needs.

Go4theGoal's leadership also has a great understanding for the role of research -- especially in support of those leading the way in transformational breakthroughs.

Anyone working with Beth will be profoundly moved and inspired.

I am a pediatric oncology social worker at University Medical Center in Tucson, AZ. I cannot express enough what a gift Go4thegoal has been to both our patients and our social work team. I recently commented to the organization that I feel as though we have our very own fairy godmother in this foundation. It seems that whatever we need to better serve our patients and families, Go4thegoal is there to assist. The well being of both our patients and their families have been significantly improved thanks to the kindness and compassion this foundation has shared with us.

Go4the Goal continues to amaze me! They have provided the children and teens at TCI with so much over the past few years; from unbelievably generous Holiday gifts, to weekly and monthly raffle prizes, but the Halloween party that they threw at our hospital this Fall had such a lasting impact on our patients! We even had families join us for the day, who weren't scheduled to be at the hospital. They are still talking about it! They continue to brighten our patient's lives, and focus on the fun and enjoyment of childhood, despite illness.

Where to begin? Go 4 the Goal Foundation has been such a devoted friend to the young patients at Tomorrows Children's Fund who are fighting cancer. The foundation provided us with Mac laptops for patients to use while they are receiving long treatments at the medical center. They hand select wonderful presents to brighten the faces of our children. Their "lottery" for our patients provides one child each week to win a bag filled with goodies and once a month a patient's name is drawn to receive an amazing electronic item. Go 4 the Goal provides both patient and parent with that much needed boost! We LOVE Go 4 the Goal!

This foundation never ceases to amaze me. Each time I contact the foundation requesting assistance for a patient and family, the foundation agrees to help, often going above and beyond to meet the needs of pediatric oncology population. They truly understand the needs of the families and offer support to those who need it the most. The foundation keeps in mind the particular needs of a teenage child and finds a way to bring joy to their lives. Our division is so very grateful for this foundation and all that they do.

As a sarcoma patient at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, I was treated to the day of a lifetime. With my dad, I went to the clinching game of the 2008 World Series to watch my favorite Philadelphia Phillies win the long-awaited championship. After a great dinner in center city, the limo dropped us off for a an amazing experience that I will never forget. To add to all of this, I also received a personalized gift during the winter holidays. Seeing the smiles on the other children's faces when they opened their gifts in clinic definitely brightened everyone's mood. I simply cannot thank this organization enough, and sincerely hope others can help donate in order to increase the effect.

They are innovative and proactive and compassionate beyond belief. If you choose them, you will be advancing the cure of pediatric cancers like it could be done in no other organization. Go4theGoal Foundation is an incredible non-profit that is making a big difference in the battle on childhood cancer. The numerous programs they've founded in various Pediatric Hospitals as well as their committment to funding research for a cure for Sarcoma is inspiring. Go4theGoal was there for our 14 year old daughter when she was in the battle of her life with Rhabdomysarcoma. Through their very generous gifts that they donated, she was able to have precious and memorable time playing games with her younger brother and was able to enjoy her favorite music while enduring multiple chemotherapy treatments and hospital stays. Our precious daughter lost her battle. We appreciate the Founders and all the members of Go4theGoal for their endless time and committment to the fight on Childhood cancer. Thank you.

Go4TheGoal is a seminal organization demonstrating leadership in the field of helping children and families with cancer. Through the sponsorship of Dr Jeffrey toretsky at georgetown university in developing novel therapies for the cure of Ewing's sarcoma, this organization has developed beyond the critical role of social giving. It has developed into a charity that is proactively trying to better the world for children with cancer through collaboration with academia, industry and nonprofits to foster intelligent and novel approaches to finding a cure.
