The University of Chicago Football program has paired with Go4TheGoal the last seven years to raise funds and awareness for pediatric cancer. Our kids have worn yellow laces each fall during a designated home game. Our partnership with Go4TheGoal has generated funds for Comer Children's Hospital at UChicago Medicine. We look forward to doing our part each year to support children with pediatric cancer. Go4TheGoal has made that possible.
I am a social worker at a hospital where we work with pediatric cancer patients. Go4TheGoal foundation has been able to assist several of my patients with an Uber gift card to help them access treatment and the process was so quick and easy to request the card. Most organizations do not offer Uber assistance for families so this benefit is even more appreciated by families and the hospital staff. These cards have enabled our pediatric patients to get to and from treatment over the weekend - when hotel shuttles are closed and Medicaid will not always transport people. Thank you Go4TheGoal! You have truly been a lifesaver!
I am a social worker in pediatric oncology at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. We often work with patients who lose their mobility due to brain injury, and other detrimental side effects associated with cancer and its treatments. When our Physical Therapy team had the opportunity to trial the use of a new PT device, the EasyStand Chair, on patients, the affect it had was so great that PT knew we needed to have one right away, but the price tag was hefty. I immediately thought of Go4TheGoal, since they are always so easy to work with. I was not disappointed. Within 5 minutes, I had received a response, within an hour, approval for my grant request, and within days, the chair was ordered! No one at the hospital can believe how quick and easy working with G4TG was! We are thoroughly impressed, and forever grateful. And our patients will be better for it. Thanks, Go4TheGoal!
I am a project coordinator for a pediatric oncology unit. We work with lots of non profits. Our community partners are a wonderful blessing. The go 4 th goal foundation is such an easy foundation to work with and their generosity makes such an incredible impact with the families. This group works hard to provide a positive interaction when times are tough. Thank You!
As a social worker for pediatric oncology patients, I work with a lot of foundations who help with financial and psychosocial concerns for families on this journey. Go4TheGoal is one of my go-to foundations because they are prompt, thoughtful, communicate well, and really help meet my patient's immediate needs. The application process is seamless which helps me get my work done in a timely fashion and helps families faster! I am thankful this is a national program as I work in Texas. The impact this foundation is having on our families during the pandemic is life changing. You can see the weight lifted off of our patient and family's shoulders when we tell them the aid came through. Thank you Beth and everyone at Go4TheGoal for all you do for our patients and families!
With the ever growing changes because of the pandemic, our hospital has certainly had to modify much of how we do things in our pediatric oncology clinic. In light of very hard circumstances of cancer, it is our mission to bring play opportunities, normalization, distraction, and joy even when we have had to limit our playrooms and the amount of toys we provide to eliminate the spread of germs.
Go4theGoal generously provided a box of absolutely incredible toys we were able to create into a mobile playroom that can go room to room to provide a fun toy for kids to play with during their long clinic visits and later take home. It has been so very helpful to have their support and donation to make this mobile playroom possible, and we are so grateful! This truly has made a positive difference. Thank you, Go4theGoal Foundation!
-Allie, Child Life Specialist
We can not thank Go4the goal Foundation enough! This is a very challenging time for all. Our hospitalized pediatric patients are separated from siblings and extended family members due to COVID-19. Hearing this, Go4thegoal Foundation sent boxes of activities to keep the children entertained and engaged in meaningful creative activities. Other supplies are bringing comfort to the families. We thank you, and will forever be grateful.
The Lafayette College women's soccer team has been proud to be a part of helping Go4theGoal for the past several years. We have been able to provide back to school backs, holiday gifts, valentines day baskets, and started the Karts4Kids program at our local Lehigh Valley Children's Hospital. It was amazing to see the smiles and positive impact it has had on the children and families there. We love being able to help our community and make a difference for kids with cancer. Go4theGoal's dedication to kids battling cancer and keeping it in the community where you raise the funds really makes the foundation special. We are excited to continue helping Go4theGoal and its mission.
I was familiar with Go4TheGoal Kart 4 Kids at a previous employment and have gotten to experience a different side of Go4thegoal. Now, I have been provided the opportunity to provide support and intervention as a Certified Child Life Specialist at the Maryland Proton Treatment Center. It was made possible through a grant from the Go4TheGoal Foundation. Without the grant funding, my position would not have been made possible. I am able to connect with patients and families right at the consultation phase and support them all the way through treatment. My position here provides children with cancer with the opportunity for normalization, positive coping, socialization, and provides their families with support as well. I have many goals I'm working towards here at the MPTC and I am go grateful for the opportunity to do so because of the funding. Thank you Go4TheGoal for impacting the lives of children, both directly through gifts and indirectly through funding supportive positions like mine.
This is the 2nd year the University of Richmond Field Hockey Team has worked with Go4thegoal Foundation and we cannot say enough great things about it. It is an amazing nonprofit organization with a team that is easy to work with and super passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families. We are excited to continue to work with them! Thank you Go4thegoal for all you do!!!
I can not say enough glowing things about this foundation!! I reached out to them in a near panic about a sudden budget issue related to catering our annual Thanksgiving meal for out inpatient heme/onc families and they responded within 15 minutes in full support of sponsoring this meal! This event means so much to patients and families on our floor and it wouldn't happen without Go4theGoal! I am so, so grateful!
I cannot thank you enough for your quick response. You are the go-to for shut offs or something that needs quick action. It is VERY much appreciated!

I am a Social Worker at ECU - Department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology located in Greenville, NC. Go4thegoal foundation has been providing our department with Kart-4-Kids for a few months and it has been amazing. We have been utilizing this kart full of toys and snacks for our oncology patients who are receiving treatment at our Pediatric Day Unit at Vidant Medical Center. When kids (who are receiving treatment) see this kart (full of snacks and toys) their eyes often light up with excitement. Kids and families have enjoyed receiving all these goodies. I hope that we can maintain this program for years to come. Thank you so much!
I just love volunteering for Go4theGoal. Today I worked with pediatric cancer patients in an infusion center. We colored golf balls for an upcoming golf outing. The kids and their moms had so much fun working on them which distracted them during their treatment. The golfers will love playing with the balls and reading special notes written to them by the kids. Everyone always thanks me when I volunteer, but I’m the one walking away thanking everyone for giving me the opportunity to make a difference.
I wish I were able to give Go4theGoal 10 stars! I've been volunteering at Go4theGoal for the past five years, and I am so blessed to work with such passionate, caring, and kind people. Everyone who works here is attentive to every detail to ensure needs are always met, and they are always so happy and eager to do so! It's refreshing to see an organization dedicate so much care and energy to each and every project. Additionally, each Go4theGoal program is special and unique, whether it is financial assistance, research funding, Karts4Kids, or any other of their fantastic programs, and works to help multiple facets of the fight against pediatric cancer, rather than just focusing on once facet.
Thank you Go4theGoal for everything you do, for the people you help, the culture you cultivate, and example you set for other nonprofits to follow, marked by dedication, excitement, and honesty.
I wanted to reach out as a mom of a 4 year old superhero that is almost finished with his treatments and say thank you so much for helping us. Sometimes it feels like you are fighting alone, but foundations like yours remind us there are people out there fighting with us! Thank you so much!
For the 2nd year, our school softball and baseball teams spent the day in GOLD laced cleats. Bringing awareness and raising money for pediatric cancer is close to my heart and Go4TheGoal has been able to incorporate the power of team sports and community to raise funds for the great kids and families in our areas. Nick K. at Go4TheGoal has been wonderful to deal with and super encouraging and accommodating in publicizing our not-so-small (anymore) event. Now, our entire school and local community look forward to a Saturday in May, when all their players will be rocking GOLD laces.
Dear Go4theGoal Foundation,
I have been volunteering monthly to distribute the "gift cards and toys" to the patients of Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. You may wonder why I used quotation marks. The simple answer is because your KART delivers smiles, sighs of relief and a moment that every child feels he/she has complete control. It is my sense an ill child has very little in his/her control; all those around him/her are making the decisions. However, when the KART comes around, he/she is encouraged to choose what he/she wants. The emotion I see is heartwarming. Eyes become bright, smiles are broad and giggles erupt. I love when a child says "Is this for me?"
Parents are delighted to see someone enter their child's room who needs no information, has no news to deliver and is there only for joy. They quickly ask questions to find out about this act of generosity and we answer with kindness and warmth. But mostly, the parents smile broadly, through sleepy and teary eyes and say " Thank you, this is so very thoughtful."
Thank you so much Go4theGoal Foundation and your Kart4Kids for your act of kindness. You are making a huge difference for parents, children and volunteers.
Volunteer Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital
We have been involved with Go 4 The Goal for almost a year! It is such a wonderful organization and does such great and meaningful work in the community!
I am very grateful to have been the recipient of the Go4theGoal Child Life Fellowship at the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute. Although this fellowship is coming to an end, I am confident that what I have learned during my time at UFHPTI will be invaluable going forward in my career as a child life specialist. Throughout my fellowship, I learned how to promote effective coping in pediatric oncology patients through medical play, preparation, education, and self-expression activities. I have learned the ins and outs of proton therapy, how to best prepare and support children of all ages for their CT simulation and proton treatment, and the importance of advocating for a patient’s needs. I had the opportunity to help organize and facilitate special events to help normalize the medical environment including a Fall Festival, our Polar Express PJ Party, and bi-weekly Family Fun Nights. I am appreciative of Go4theGoal for making this Child Life Fellowship experience possible. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to further my learning and the ability to grow and develop as a child life specialist; I will be forever grateful.
Go 4the Goal foundation sent my family and I to a Phillies game where my son Anthony, who has Leukemia, met his favorite player Carlos Santana. It was definitely the best day of our lives.
The Kart 4 Kids program at our Hospital (Children’s Hospital Colorado) always brings a smile to my son’s face when we are inpatient or in the clinic for long transfusion days. The week before Christmas, the volunteers showed up at our door with gift cards to Amazon and Old Navy/Gap for us. We really appreciate it and can’t wait to shop (online, of course, to avoid all the germs in public)!
Pediatric cancer is hard on the whole family and we love it when organizations like yours brighten our day! THANK YOU!
My name is Brian Figueiredo, and I’m the head girls soccer coach at Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren, NJ. I recently organized a high school girls event that pitted the top teams from the Skyland Conference against the top teams from the Shore Conference. We decided to select a charity to raise funds for, and all the coaches agreed that Go4theGoal would be the charity.
I worked extensively with Go4theGoal for roughly 8 months, organizing every aspect of this event together. The professionalism that every member displayed was second to none, and not only were they committed to raising as much money for pediatric cancer as they could, they also were dedicated in helping the coaches run a first class soccer event.
The Mountains vs The Seas was an enormous success. Not only was it an incredible day of high school girls’ soccer, but we ended up raising almost $52,000 for children and their families, afflicted with pediatric cancer. The event could never have gotten off the ground without Go4theGoal’s tireless efforts, and it was an honor and pleasure to work side by side with them throughout the entire process.
Go4TheGoal is a charity that we have chosen for 2 years as the beneficiary of our Olympic 2-Mile Race 4 the Cure! Go4TheGoal has helped many of our local families who are or have been effected by pediatric cancer, including some students who have attended our particular school district. Karen Flint, a representative for Go4TheGoal, has attended the event each year to watch and she even hands out prizes and shirts for our top runners. I cannot say enough about this charity and the dreams that they make come to fruition for those effected by pediatric cancer
Go 4 the Goal Foundation is an amazing group that is making a tremendous impact in the effort to find new ways to treat pediatric cancer. As a physician-scientist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institution, I reached out to Go 4 the Goal Foundation with a brand new research idea that desperately needed some seed funding to get off the ground. Go 4 the Goal Foundation generously supported our idea and we have now turned that idea in numerous new projects. We hope that this work will lead us to utilize simple blood samples to perform complex profiling of pediatric tumors using a technology known as "liquid biopsy". I can't thank Go 4 the Goal Foundation enough for getting this project started.
Brian Crompton, MD
Go4thegoal foundation set my kiddos and myself for Father’s Day to go see our favorite team the Dodgers. It was a lifetime experience and made so much memories that day. Thank you so much Go4thegoal Foundation. We appreciate the outpouring support you provide us and other families. Thank you so much
The Hernandez Family
As a pediatric oncology social worker, being able to reach out to Go4thegoal to grant small wishes for families or provide financial assistance for household bills has been invaluable! Go4thegoal recently provided two of our families with tickets to attend Dodger games, which was a welcome break from treatment and allowed families to spend time together as a family, without having to focus on the child's illness. Thank you for all that you do, we are so grateful for your foundation!!
As a pediatric oncologist and cancer biologist, I am dedicated to identifying the genetic drivers of childhood cancers and revealing the function of these genes. Knowledge about cancer causing genes including their normal roles in development can help us find new therapeutics that are targeted and personalized. Go4thegoal has supported my research investigating the developmental and cancer-related functions of a novel cancer gene called AF1q. We have found this gene to drive tumor formation in neuroblastoma, a terrible malignancy of childhood. We have discovered that this gene prevents cell aging, also called senescence, which may be one of the reasons why it promotes cancer cell survival. With funds from Go4thegoal we have also created a mouse lacking AF1q, and the fact that it survives shows that it may be possible to target this gene therapeutically. Thanks to Go4thegoal, this critical research is now moving forward! Thank you so much!
As a pediatric oncology social worker, I observe every day how the financial burdens of a childhood cancer diagnosis can be tremendous. I often refer families to Go 4 The Goal to assist with their daily living expenses during treatment, which can be a constant source of stress. Of the many organizations I refer families to for assistance, I find Go 4 The Goal to be exceptional. They are consistently responsive to the needs of families, and they always respond immediately to requests for assistance. I am so thankful to this organization for always coming through for patients and families.
This foundation is amazing. They were never pushy to get started but whenever i had a question they were there to help me out. We held their Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer event, and chose to sell their wrist bands and shoelaces, as well as held a raffle to raise extra money for the cause. 100% of our donations stayed in the state to help out kids, and 80% of the laces/bands sales did the same. Here is a synapses of our day:
DJ, a student battling cancer from a local elementary school, was able to come out and be a part of the day. He was our honorary captain and threw out the first pitch of the game. It was a really cool moment for me as a coach to see all of my boys out there making this tremendous kid feel like part of the team. Even the other team came out of the dugout and cheered him on as he warmed up for his first pitch. When we walked out to the field to throw for real, I asked him how far he wanted to through from (being a 4th grader I was expecting maybe 20 or 30 feet) but to my surprise DJ wanted to throw it from the actual pitcher's mound 60 feet away! And he did a great job! If that was the end of the story I would have been a happy camper that day, but it just kept getting better.
One of the ways that we raised money for the game was through a raffle, all of the prizes were donated by local groups and companies. One of the Prizes was a PlayStation 4 and two games to go with it, donated by Van Buren Area Little League. The person who won the raffle, and chose that prize, was one of my players (junior) Jayden. Right after he picked out the prize he asked DJ to come over and talk for a second. Jayden asked him if he had one of those at home, and DJ said no. Then without hesitation Jayden gave his prize away to a very excited and deserving DJ Turner.
Those are the moments that I will never forget as long as I coach. I explained to my players that this is what we want to be known for. Good, hard working, respectful gentlemen that make a difference in their community; and who just so happen to be good baseball players.
We raised around $850 and while that is amazing, it was more about the community out reach and the feeling my players were able to get for helping out such a great cause through a great foundation!
The Go4thegoal Foundation is an amazing organization! I'm a Child Life Specialist in a pediatric hospital, supporting patients with cancer. The cart is always stocked with the latest toys and there is always a wide variety of items to meet the needs of patients of all ages. Sometimes it can be hard to find items to help promote normalcy and distraction for older patients, but we always get great stuff from Go4thegoal! The cart is offered to patients once a week and so many patients look forward to "cart day!" The organization is so easy to work with and everyone, especially Carina, is so kind and clearly passionate about this work! We are so thankful that they provide this excellent resource to our patients!
Go4theGoal is an amazing nonprofit organization to be involved with. I had the privilege to be an intern during my last semester of college at Rutgers University. I was so impressed by the kindness, selflessness, and dedication of their team and how much they truly care about making a difference in lives of children with cancers. I was able to witness how fast Go4theGoal responds to a family when they request assistance.
Also, all of the funds that are raised through Go4theGoal's events are kept in the area that raised them. I believe this gives people the opportunity to feel that they are making a difference in the lives of the children within their own community!
Go4theGoal is growing immensely and their efforts are continuing to impact the lives of so many children and their families!
As a social worker trying to help families survive the financial burden of cancer, I have repeatedly been impressed with Go4thGoal. They respond to requests for assistance immediately and go above and beyond to help families.
Our daughter, Lia, was looking for a way this September to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer in her school. The LaceUp4PediatricCancer was a perfect fit. While she started with the Girls Varsity team, all of the Cresskill High School fall sports teams agreed to participate. Karen at Go4theGoal communicated with her well and made organizing the fundraiser fairly simple and hassle free.
Thank you to Go4theGoal for supporting such a great cause and providing opportunities for much-needed activism.
Go 4 the Goal worked with a family of ours to provide his end of life wish for a trip to Disneyland with his family. They went above and beyond to make this trip special for the family at the last minute! They booked a concierge level suite at a Disney Based hotel and coordinated with staff at the Disney hotel so the family would receive special treatment and be treated like royalty. Even though the patient received a Make a Wish (which disqualifies the family from most other organizations), Go 4 the Goal facilitated this special end of life trip to make memories with his family.
Our clinic was so amazed at the effort put into making this trip special for the family. Thank you for what you do not just for this family, but for all families and for pediatric oncology patients and clinic nationwide- it makes a huge difference in the lives of families and is truly appreciated.
Our institution, the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute, received a $66,000 grant from the Go4TheGoal Foundation to launch a child life clinical fellowship program. This fellowship will allow us to employ two child life fellows, with each fellowship lasting 12 months over a two-year period. As patient population increases, the program will add additional resources to support children going through cancer treatment and their families.
We are thrilled to partner with Go4TheGoal to offer comprehensive training to future child life specialists as well as the opportunity to expand our own program. Combining advanced proton therapy technology with comprehensive child life programming allows us to provide the highest-quality care for all our pediatric patients with cancer.
Our child life specialist works one-on-one with children throughout treatment to promote effective coping through medical play, preparation and education. This dedicated approach results in less emotional distress, better overall coping during treatment, a clearer understanding of procedures, and a more positive physical recovery and post-treatment adjustment.
We are so appreciative of the foundation's generosity and are enthusiastic about the benefits that this fellowship will provide to our pediatric patients with cancer and their families!
I was so pleased with the time and effort the staff showed us to get everything organized! They were always prompt when getting back to me by phone or email. I believe they are genuinely good people working for a cause they believe they can make a difference in! I was so pleased with the entire process and I am looking forward to doing it again next year!
The Richmond Baseball team partnered with Go4theGoal this year and it has been a great partnership! Beth has been incredible to work with this spring as we organized our "Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer" game. We had six players make visits to the local children's hospital and spend time with patients and it's something they want to continue to be a part of. On Saturday, we were joined by four very special guests on the field and we were so thankful that they could be part of the team for the day. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Go4theGoal as we raise awareness for pediatric cancer.
Hi! My name is Bryan Dickerson and I am a Senior at Rowan University. I am also heavily involved with a student base club called Rowan Television Network (RTN) and within the club every year RTN host their annual 5hr live broadcast in benefiting a non-profit charity in trying to raise as much money as possible. For this year's RTN Telethon the charity was Go 4 The Goal an amazing local charity in Cherry Hill, NJ. As Erin Cahill and myself (Bryan Dickerson) were the Co-Executive Producers for this year's 10th Annual Telethon in overseeing the production from beginning to end. We started planning for this event in December and just finished yesterday April 5th. Erin and I decided to select Go 4 The Goal because this charity was near and deer to Erin's heart and once I meet the staff for G4G, I knew this would be the perfect charity selection. G4G is an amazing charity as they are trying there best every day to help children, families, and students who have or know someone who may be suffering from pediatric cancer. By either donating grants/funds to families, donating toys to brighten the spirit of children, creating fundraiser to raise money etc. However, it's not until you meet the children in person that has pediatric cancer that touches your heart and makes you want to help in any way possible because no child or family should have to go through the process of pediatric cancer at a young age. This is one of the many main reasons for why Erin and I selected G4G as our Telethon charity. To help G4G in anyway possible to help them improve the lives of the children and families they know suffering. With that being said I know that everyone that reads this review will be encourage and motivated to help Go 4 The Goal because last name at the Telethon we raise as much as we could for a total of $5,590 within 5hrs but that's still not enough. Everyone please continue to help fight pediatric cancer and improve children lives one by one!
Go 4 The Goal Foundation has been a wonderful addition to our Pediatric Unit at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY. Since meeting with Beth, all the staff members have worked around the clock to provide our Hospital with the materials and resources our Oncology patient's desperately needed. We previously did not have any tablets for the patient's to utilize during their stay or, for procedural distraction. Go 4 the goal provided us with one IPAD and two Amazon Kindle tablets which the patient's have been extremely thrilled about. I cannot express the gratitude I have and the huge smile on our patient's faces when they know they are able to borrow a Tablet. We also received two large bins filled with toys and board games to keep our patient's entertained and provide them with bravery reward prize after completed treatments and procedures. This has provided them with a distraction and positive reinforcement for compliance with medications and procedures. It has only been two days since our donation was provided but, I have already utilized so much. As the only Child life Specialist on the Unit, I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for our patients. All the medical staff here at RUMC are extremely grateful for this donation and look forward to continue working with this foundation in the future.
Isabella Lombardo, CCLS
Your assistance allows families to focus on the more important parts of their child’s care. It is a pleasure to stand with a family and know some of these concrete needs can be met while myself and others attend to helping in different ways. Thank you.
Go 4 the Goal brought the Oncology unit at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children a KId's Kart full of toys and treats ! One day Beth Stefanacci, founder, was here to replenish the Kart when she looked around our very well used clinic and infusion center and told us that she wanted to do a makeover for us. The process was long but Beth stayed with it and we now have a beautiful space that delights our patients and families. We have new flooring ,front desk and receiving area, new waiting room with a beautiful aquarium and computer area for parents. New video games and toys throughout the patient areas and a special area for teens to play games or just chat. This project has infused new life into our old worn out space and makes it a pleasure to come to work . Many of our families have noted how special this wonderful organization has made them feel by giving them such an amazing area where they and their children spend so much time. We will be forever grateful to Beth and her team at Go 4 the Goal!
Total amazement!!!! I submitted an email and within minutes I had a reply in my inbox. I was blown away by their prompt response. Beth Stefanacci was incredibly understanding, making the process extremely organic. I sent an email sharing the story of Alec Zabala Corzo who was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer only a month ago. Unfortunately when they found the cancer he was already at stage 4. My daughter Vanessa wanted to do something special for him so I started the research and I found Go4thegoalfoundation listed on the Dynamo page. Alec is an avid soccer player so I thought trying to get a pro soccer player to give him a surprise visit would be super cool for him. Beth was responsible for making that wish come true. Within a day she had confirmed that someone form the Dynamos would visit Alec in the coming days. On February 27th, Tyler Deric came to visit Alec in the hospital. Tyler was super cool, made Alec feel super comfortable. He even dared him to a XBOX FIFA game. It was so fun to see him just chilling int he room having a good time. Tyler became one of Alec's friends during his visit and that was very cool to see. I am extremely grateful for the support and dedication of both Go4thegoalfoundation and the Houston Dynamos for giving Alec some joy during this very difficult times. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!!! Sincerely Pilar Sneider
Working with Beth and the entire Go4theGoal team has been such a pleasure over the past few years. Their dedication to the patients at Cohen Children's Medical Center is amazing! They are always willing to hear our feedback, as well as thinking of new and creative ways to meet the individual needs of the kids in our care. Their outpouring of love and support is tremendous, and we're very fortunate to have such a great partnership with them.
Just wanted to say thank you so much for providing our patients and their families with an opportunity to attend the ASU basketball game! We really appreciate all your continued support and offering fun activities for our kiddos and families. It really means a lot to us!
Go4thegoal was a major supporter when our organization, the Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute, was raising funds for a new microscope. With their support, we were able to purchase an incredibly powerful microscope that has fundamentally changed the type of experiments we are able to do - it's been amazing! We are so grateful for their support.
The Loyola Volleyball Team used this Non-profit to raise money for the local pediatric centers. The staff was very responsive and always worked hard to make sure any questions, concerns or requests were taken care of in a timely matter. We will definitely be using this foundation again for our gold match next year!
The Haddon Heights High School Boys Soccer Program participated in the Go4The Goal-LaceUp4Pediatric Cancer this past Fall and plan to participate in this great event for years to come. Karen Flint made the entire process very easy and enjoyable. The entire program and our opponent for the event-Paulsboro- looked great wearing the yellow laces.
The Haddon Heights Boys alone raised over $500.00 for the campaign .We were so glad to participate and assist in this wonderful cause.
Go4theGoal has been nothing but superb! Great mission, great people, great story! As a partner school with them, our students have the opportunity to continue answering their school's mission to be servant leaders. Go4theGoal makes that experience and opportunity a great one, providing just an ounce more of hope and love in a time where it can seem gone.
Go4thegoal staff have worked well with me and our campaign for UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. They have been responsive, supportive, creative, and persistent in helping us to raise money for our Psychology Oncology Program. Our initiatives in the community are on the rise and Go4thegoal have been a large part of that success. We look forward to continued work with the entire team.
Go4theGoal is truly a great organization, and the LaceUp4PediatricCancer was an amazing campaign! Temple University's Field Hockey team loved working with the Foundation, and raising money and awareness to such a great cause. We are looking forward to working with Go4theGoal in the near future. Karen Flint and the staff were so great to work and easy to work with. We would encourage other teams to LaceUp4PediatricCancer, and work with Go4theGoal Foundation!
Go4theGoal was incredibly helpful and hands on. Karen Flint was exceptional with her communication and organization. As a student, Karen made the process so easy. Will definitely be working with Go4theGoal again!
Go4theGoal made it incredibly easy to raise money for such a worthy cause. With just a little work on my end I was able to set up a donation page and have all the players on my team join and create. We exceeded out goal because it was so easy to share the pages and get donations.
Any time I had any questions they were quick to respond and they made everything easy. If you want to raise money for Pediatric Cancer, this is the group to do it with!
When we became aware of the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for kids with cancer that are being treated locally we knew we could make an impact!
When we announced to our coaches, players, and families that we were taking part in this event the support and interest was even greater than we expected. Many people are impacted by pediatric cancer and this cause seemed to really hit home for our players and families. It was also a way to easily introduce the idea of philanthropy and giving back to our young players, and many of them became our most vocal supporters! Doing this on a club-wide basis, and encouraging full teams to buy and participate, made a great statement for our club on the event day. Plus, at just $5.00 a pair to get involved it allowed anyone who was interested to participate in the event. Our parents, players, and coaches displayed great pride showing off their laces and it helped to reinforce our club’s message about the importance of being engaged in and giving back to our communities.
Finally, not only is this a great cause to support it is also very easy to administer and a fun and visible event to be a part of. We would highly recommend Go4theGoal’s Lace Up for Pediatric Cancer event to any youth sport organization that wants to give back to their community!
Go 4 The Goal has been a phenomenal organization to work with. They are responsive and are quick to help in a pinch. While they provide financial support to our oncology patients/families they are also, on occasion able to help with fun requests such as toys or items to help keep patients busy during long term hospitalizations. They recently sent one of our patients a Lego kit, The Tower Bridge of London to build. The patient has it almost half completed and just beams when talking about how fun it is to put together. Thank you Go 4 The Goal for helping not only with financial hardships during pediatric oncology treatments but for helping improve the quality of life for our young patients during long term hospitalizations. We hope to continue our work with Go 4 The Goal and appreciate everything they do for our patients, families, and other children's healthcare organizations around the country.
Go4thegoal was fantastic to work with! I don't think that I have ever had such quick turn around when working with a foundation to help a family. I contacted Go4thegoal and that same afternoon they had reached out to the family and the family received the assistance needed! They were very responsive and easy to work with. I look forward to working with Go4thegoal in the future!
Here at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia we consider ourselves to be fortunate to partner with pediatric oncology foundations such as Go 4 The Goal because they assist us in our efforts to serve families best. Go 4 The Goal recently provided several families with the opportunity to attend a Philadelphia Soul game. This was a wonderful opportunity for families to see an exciting sporting event and to spend quality time with one another. We are so appreciative of all that Go 4 The Goal does in support of families impacted by pediatric cancer.
Go 4 The Goal has been an incredible foundation to work with. Our patients and families benefit from both the financial assistance they provide, as well as the Karts 4 Kids program. Go 4 The Goal makes their processes easy to use and I am always amazed at their quick turnaround time. The financial assistance we can access has been critical to meeting the needs of our families, who often struggle making ends meet when their children are regularly in the hospital or clinic, or the family faces loss of an income. Go 4 The Goal is reliable and I can always count on them to help when a need arises.
The Karts 4 Kids program has been such a fun program to implement into our hospital unit. The Kart has been an opportunity to motivate our patients with prizes or to cheer up a patient when they are having a rough day. The Kart provides fun and interactive games and toys, as well as soft, plush items. Go 4 The Goal keeps us well stocked and the patients always have a great array of items to choose from.
Go 4 The Goal has proven to be a dependable and caring organization, committed to assisting families in need and making patients smile. Thank you Go 4 The Goal!!
Go 4 The Goal is a truly wonderful and amazing non-profit organization!! They have provided much needed support and hard to get resources for several families that we serve. Go 4 The Goal is always quick to help out a family in need and are incredibly easy to work with. They make it possible to help meet the needs of our families and we are so grateful!!
“We absolutely love the Karts 4 Kids program. The program was so simple and easy to setup and follow. We just stated what our needs were and they sent all the supplies right at our door step. We currently have 8 beds in our bone marrow transplant unit and every week we go around with our cart and go make our patients smile! The kids get to pick out their favorite prize after a week of treatment and since most of them are here for very long periods of time, it is a perfect opportunity for them to be rewarded for all of their patience and bravery.”

Head Coach Stephanie V. Gaitley says, "Go4theGoal is a great organization raising money and awareness for a great cause! Having a niece with cancer as a child, this cause is near and dear to my heart. The Fordham University, teams and staffs enjoyed being able to support this organization and raise awareness for pediatric cancer." The 2015-16 season was the first time that we had a Go4theGoal game and we are already extremely excited to plan for our next Go4theGoal game in the 2016-17 season. Their staff is very organized, gets back to you quickly and are amazing people! I would encourage other teams and organizations to support this amazing cause!
Go4theGoal has been an inspirational organization to work with. The people coordinating the events and reaching out to University's to be a part of the wonderful cause are so friendly and easy to work with! La Salle University dedicated a Men's and Women's Basketball game to the Go4theGoal Lace Up Campaign during the 2015-2016 season. We had a massive turnout and amazing of support and donations coming from our gold out staff, students and teams. Everyone was so blessed to be a part of supporting such a meaningful cause and touching organization. The Explorers plan on dedicating a game every season from now on to the Go4theGoal Lace Up campaign and definitely looking forward to incorporating more sports teams at the University into the cause every year! Thank you to this amazing organization for letting us get involved and raise funds help support the pediatric fight against cancer!
We incorporated the campaign into our softball game at the University of Illinois. The team feel passionate about this cause and would like to dedicate a game to recognize cancer survivors and their families. The online donation page made it very easy for fans, parents, and the community to donate and help out without having to come to the actual game. We were able to reach out goal before game day because of the donation page.
As an pediatric oncology social worker, I have been along side families whose children are going through very difficult times. It goes without saying how difficult the treatment is on the child but I believe it is even more difficult on the parent for many reasons. Supporting their child during treatment is only part of the concern. With most families, one of the parents usually has to leave work to care for their child. This drop in income causes a great deal of financial hardship for the family. This hardship is doubled when it involves a single parent being the caregiver. One of my responsibilities is to seek out foundations who are able to support the family during this time.
This year, during the holiday season, I supported many newly diagnosed families who were so anxious about not being able to provide a Christmas for their family. I submitted a referral to Go 4 the Goal for one family. I did remind the family of the fact I was not sure how much of the child's wish list could be fulfilled by G4TG. The family stated they would be grateful for any assistance they would receive.
On the day of the delivery, when I called the parents in to my office, the Mom began to cry and Dad did his best not to join her. They took everything out of the bags and were so excited showing each other the items. They looked like children opening gifts on Christmas morning. They could not say thank you enough and I reminded them it was not me, but G4TG, who is giving their children a Christmas.
I feel so blessed to be the conduit for such a wonderful foundation. They never hold back and they're giving far exceeds anything any one would or should expect.
I am thanking you, not only from me but for my families. Wishing you all the best in the coming year!
The Go4thegoal organization is very impressive and always follow through. We started our partnership with them in 2015 and I look forward to continuing to work with them into the future. Beth and her team should be commended on their hard work. Not only do they raise money but more importantly they provide comfort, joy and hope to children and families dealing with pediatric cancer. On behalf of our patients and staff at Maria Fareri Children's Hopsital, a member of the WMCHealth Network, thank you for your great work.
