Last year I got connected with Andrew and Amethyst Roth of Global Outreach Foundation Congo. Their vision inspired me to try to visit them. They welcomed me into their home for 10 days, giving me an opportunity to learn much about the implementation of their vision, the challenges and victories, the people they partner with at a very personal level, etcetera. I respect their drive to see deep and lasting change in the lives of people that goes further than short-term projects and gives them hope for a different future for Congo.
With a relatively small budget they are able to set in motion what many bigger organizations are not achieving. They are responsible and willing to keep learning better ways to serve and empower the Congolese. Overall I definitely recommend partnering with this organization.

Global Outreach Foundation is an excellent organization with the highest ethical standards. I have know their personnel for many years and have found them to be people of honesty and integrity with an uncompromising commitment to the people they serve.

I have seen "missionary" organizations squander money and become self centered and ineffective. The people of G.O.F. have not fallen prey to the out of sight, out of mind and on vacation mentality. They are selfless, hard working dedicated people with the heard of Jesus for the lost, hurting and broken of the world. They willingly run into places while others are running away!

I have been with them and their affiliates in Swaziland, Uganda and D.R. Congo. They know how to work with the indigenous people in a way that keeps them from being dependent on the Americans for their future. G.O.F. efforts empower the native people to grow into all that the Creator intended them to be. The people of G.O.F. are a wonderful example of what Christians should be.

Everything went very smooth during my time before my trip. I was communicated with often by both the missionaries I was visiting and their organization. During my stay I was personally challenged to grow and put in situations out of my comfort zone to do that, but I knew they were always there for me. They became my family. I would highly recommend going on a long missions trip with these guys.
