Libby Linton Sellers asked me to share This with Global Media Outreach. Hello, My name is Gerald E. Brock. I am 65 years old. In 1962 on October 22, I was hit by a car. This accident sent me to the hospital for 44 days. I thank God that some Firemen from Cheraw Fire Department were traveling through the community that I live in that day, They stopped to resuscitate me. I also Thank God for having a surgeon at the hospital, because he gave me a tracheotomy to clear fluids from my lungs and packed me in ice to keep my brain from swelling.
I was ordained as a deacon in 1983 at the Church that I attend. Later on in the same year I went on a Mission trip to Puerto Rico with another Church from the Association that we are located in. In 1994 I started going on Mission trips with Lake View Baptist Church. I got a blessing each time that I went on a Mission trip. Our Mission Group has been on trips to Virginia, West Virginia, Florida, and Tennessee. I thank God that I went on these trips.
On October 22, 2009 I was confirmed as an Online Missionary with Global Media Outreach. Praise God.
This ministry is such a great organization. It truly reaches out to the uttermost parts of the world to share the Gospel. I'm so honored to be able to tell people I am an online missionary with GMO.
This organization has helped me to feel useful as a Christian and to connect with many people in need of attention and love! Thank you GMO for providing me this!
I thank God for the privilege of sharing the great love of Jesus through this ministry. God bless you today and forever and ever.
We are online missionaries who help people around the world by responding to them when they have questions about life, need prayer , and desire comfort in the form of knowing someone else cares about them.
I have been blessed to help lead many people to Jesus; pray for numerous contacts; and lead those who are looking to a church where they can continue to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
In addition, GMO has and continues to provide us with timely and relevant training; regular updates on areas of need; feedback on our service in the ministry; technological assistance; and the opportunity to grow in this ministry whether it is serving in specific communities or developing leadership skills to help other servants.
I have volunteered with GMO since 2012. During this time, GMO has provided me, as a servant and leader, with the opportunity to go out and share the good news of Jesus Christ with people (contacts/disciples) from all over the world. I have been blessed with the opportunity to help those who are using the internet to learn more about Jesus, and I am nothing less than amazed by how God is using GMO to reach the millions from around the world learn about our Lord and Savior. Plus, many of these contacts who I have come into contact with are now sharing their own testimony and the love of Jesus with others.
GMO is unlike any other Christian website in that we are available 24 hours a day, with volunteers from all over the world. We're here to tell people about Jesus and answer questions from seekers interested in understanding the claims of Christ. We also have specialists in a wide variety of subjects, specialties, and languages. I'm a suicide specialist and we help people who are in total despair and want to kill themselves. We have decades of experience in crisis intervention and suicide prevention. And, of course, we offer the hope that God can, does, and will change their lives if they will trust in Him. I have connected with hundreds of people during my 10 years as a GMO volunteer, each one a true blessing. I've seen many lives changed from hopelessness to peace and joy as they come to faith in Jesus and begin an ongoing relationship with Him.
I’ve been a volunteer for nearly 10 years and have been able to talk with people on most of the continents of the world without leaving my living room. It’s been rewarding to know people in dozens of different cultures and to be able to help them and encourage them in their faith.
I've been with Global Media Outreach for 7 years, and it's absolutely unique in being able to reach every country and people group in the world - areas that no one on foot would dare venture into (163 countries so far, and that's just for me). It's continually updated, so that we have the newest and most updated platforms from which to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. Working in this ministry has been the most life changing opportunity I've ever had.
Global Media Outreach has allowed me to reach people in 157 countries with the Gospel - right from my own home. I've been a volunteer with them for 6 years, and they are a blessing - with a solid Biblical message, and always honoring our Lord Jesus Christ.
GMO offers great tools and training to enable volunteers to meet the needs of their audience. Both the audience and volunteers are enriched by the experience.
I've volunteered with this non profit for over 8 years and they have always acted with integrity both financially and with people. In fact the closer I've gotten to the inner workings the more impressed I have become!
I've volunteered with GMO for probably 7 years now and I have to say that the closer I've seen the ministry, the more integrity I have seen! That is not always the case, but these guys are the real deal. Their only purpose is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are seeking and to help them understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
I am blessed to be a part of this ministry. It's a wonderful way to communicate with one another greetings, prayers and God's Word. It's also wonderful to be able to rejoice in what our Lord Jesus is doing in our lives and to be a part of our Lord's plan to expand the Kingdom of God throughout the world.
I have been a missionary since 1972, now I am 77 years old and cannot visit all over the world, but not thru Global Media Outreach every morning I travel throughout the World helping people with many different problems.
I love my work with GMO! What a great blessing that technology can make the world such a small place- Bringing Jesus to every phone and person on earth. The people I meet through GMO become friends and we sometimes continue to talk for years, sharing scripture and ministering to each other. Thank you Lord for this great use of technology! Amen
I am an online missionary who gets the privilege of communicating with others that are seeking answers. It is such a blessing to watch them grow from confused and distressed to peaceful and hopeful. I have many contacts in the US, India, Africa, Phillipines, UK, etc, etc.
We are all the same, we want and need hope in our lives and I get to give them hope through the prayers and answers to their questions. How else can you have this type of communication with the World?
This is a great ministry that reaches people where missionaries might not be welcome. It has been an amazing experience getting to pray with and encourage people from all over the world on the internet! I have communicated with people from the middle east, Africa, India, etc. A joy to be part of the harvest and grateful for the privilege.
I have seen at least 8 people come to Christ in my short time as an Online Minister for GMO. This is an incredible organization bringing so many souls to Jesus that it boggles the imagination. I am proud to be a member of such an blessed ministry.
Global Media Outreach is a non-profit organization that deeply cares for the most critical needs of people around the world.
