Mission: The Mission of GLAP is to protect, promote and preserve fundamental human and civil rights throughout the world. GLAP believes the best approach to eradicating these injustices is to develop and utilize a fair and equitable legal system. However, there is a pressing need for a major overhaul of the current legal systems for this approach to work. In short, there is a 'gap' in fundamental human and civil rights legal protections -- GLAP fills the gap. GLAP has developed a revolutionary and comprehensive approach involving three Community Based Programs. Legal Defense Centers actively fight human rights violators throughout the world. Support and Resource Centers strengthen grassroots advocates by providing professional support and services. The PAD Home Ownership Program provides an incentive to legal services.
