Mission: Global Information Network is an alternative and independent news source for developing world news and news with a special focus on Africa that adds to an understanding of regions of the world which are overlooked or under-reported in commercial media.
Results: Global supplies community-based minority news publications in some of the largest cities nationwide on a weekly basis with essential economic, social and cultural news of Africa from a civil society perspective. We host a monthly open forum - The Africa Roundtable - (taped and posted on YouTube) and are building community and support for African democracy struggles through our Africana Meetup group and in collaboration with other Africa-centered media groups.
