Organized and chaired the global family policy forum to brief government officials and civil society on issues relating to the protection of children and the family (continued on schedule o). Updated and published un resource guide to consensus language on family issues, a handbook used by united nations delegates in un negotiations to protect children and families. Organized several public events at united nations headquarters in new york to promote the protection of children and the family. Continued from page 2: organized meetings for and chaired the united nations family rights caucus. Continue to support the acenda humanitarian program that provides support for orphans living in substitute families in mozambique. Gave statements on un floor in support of the family and protection of children. Provided consultation for various un member states on the protection of children and the family.
