Our Company has been volunteering with GEM since 2019. They are a wonderful organization and it has been great to see them expand their operations and impact over the years! Our team always leaves feeling like we are part of their mission and doing important work. Vivien, Michael and the GEM team are passionate about what they do and it really shows up in how well they treat their volunteers.

I was searching for different opportunities to volunteer. I was not familiar with GEM’s work and by pure chance went to volunteer one day unaware of what we were required to do.
What I found is an organization dedicated to rendering a hand to humanity in times of need. The staff is very organized, professional and their enthusiasm is contagious. Now I volunteer as often as I can; I look forward to every day I am able to be part of making a difference.

It was a great experience volunteering with GEM. They were really helpful and organized when we got there. The directions were clear and we were able to prepare over 700 boxes. Overall great experience.

We helped create aid packages for those who are suffering from Hurricane Ian. The staff was extremely helpful and patient. Everything was very well set-up and it was an overall amazing experience.

The founder Michael Capponi is a true angel sent to make the world a better place, I say this not lightly. Everyone the team is there because they know they can, and will, make a massive difference on this earth. And boy, do they. As soon as disaster strikes whether it’s Kentucky, Haiti, or Ukraine…they are there.

I’ve had the pleasure of volunteering in their Miami warehouse, and even on the hot and humid days it was hard to feel anything but motivation and happiness. Each person on the team running this non-profit is there for deeply genuine reasons and this is felt as soon as you step in the doors.

It was extremely well organized and the staff of hand were very kind making the experience great. Everything was easy to understand and made the day move smoothly, and definitely gave me a fun time while helping others in need.

The work we did was meaningful and it was very easy to learn how to do. The tasks given to us volunteers allowed us to cooperate and function together as a group to get work done. The people working here were extremely understanding and were very patient to deal with volunteers who needed help on a task or directions on what to do. Overall great experience, amazing staff, and most importantly this allowed us to work as a group to benefit those in need of assistance due to hurricane damages.

I started volunteering during the early months of the war in Ukraine and now help whenever my schedule allows. GEM provides volunteers and donors with a way of directly assisting communities impacted by disasters around the globe. As a volunteer, it's rewarding to know that items packaged in the Miami warehouse are quickly rushed to people in need. An added benefit of volunteering at GEM is working with the exceptional staff and volunteers who are kind and passionate about helping. I have volunteered with everyone from business executives, medical professionals and yoga instructors to college students, beauty queens and fashion models. Regardless of the volunteer background, all are remarkably hard workers who routinely pack pallets with hundreds of necessity kits in a surprisingly short amount of time. The talented GEM employees ensure that the volunteer experience is well organized and enjoyable.

The war in Ukraine propelled me to do something to contribute to the relief efforts. I didn’t know where to start. The knee jerk reaction was to travel to Poland to welcome the Ukrainian refugees. But that was not in my cards. By manifesting my desire to help, I was connected to GEM. The work I did there was not as emotional as it would be if I came face to face with the victims. I mainly registered the goods that were donated to GEM. But I also knew that the faster everything gets registered, the faster it can get to the people in desperate need. I knew how important time was and is in this equation. This is where GEM is stellar. They are ready to activate a mission at racing speed.

I have been actively volunteering worn Global empowerment mission for over two years. I love and adore their whole team and everything that they stand for. The necessity kits we make go to Crisis around the world! They are incredible group of humans & im honored to help.

They have great track record over the past decade with helping all around the globe, but not forgetting about their own local areas (food drives / Surfside building collapse / volunteer programs etc) They are a great steward of funds and donations so you know your contributions are getting into the right hands and making a difference.

They are amazing with getting donation and prepare and supervised distribution or said donations to the places in need, the community Volunteer program allows our community to get in hands on in the help and recuperations of places in crisis

Global Empowerment Mission helps those in need after being hit by disasters such as wildfires in CA, Australia and in the Amazon. They have helped Haiti after the earthquakes and other areas after volcanic eruptions (such as Guatemala and St.Vincent). They have helped throughout the USA and other countries after catastrophic storms and with Covid in hotspots and in the Caribbean. Their staff is wholeheartedly involved and works tirelessly. Global Empowerment Mission truly delivers much needed hope.

This wonderful nonprofit is a true gem. Not only is the entire staff wholeheartedly involved and truly cares about what they are doing for those in need but the president and founder, Michael Capponi, personally travels to the disaster stricken areas to help lend a hand with the missions. Ranging from wildfires in CA to Australia, relief after earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and hurricanes to aid for Covid hotspots, this organization is incredibly impressive and delivers much needed hope in addition to the relief aid.

GEM goes deeper into the communities and families and individuals than any other non-profit. This is true in Haiti, wildfires, Miami condo collab sent any other effort that they get involved with. This puts them far above others responding to disasters. They're also terrific collaborators an extremely efficient.

GEM has excelled in a very challenging space. Their experience, knowledge, and resources allow them to provide disaster relief in a quick and efficient manner. They are usually first in and last out for disasters.

Provides disaster relief globally and empowers those in need. A welcoming environment to volunteers and great place to donate time or money.

I was very happy to find this GEM of a charity. They were one of the few organizations with people working on the ground in Haiti Earthquake relief, that would accept in-kind donations. Almost everyone else I contacted wanted cash.
The other nice thing is they have a relationship with Amazon.com and anything you buy from Amazon can be shipped directly to them free if you have an Amazon Prime account.
I hope they will establish relationships with other big retailers who will give not only free shipping but discounts on purchases for donation to charity.
