GDP Kenya is a beacon of light staffed by individuals with the hearts and faith the world needs more of. At 14, visiting Africa was a distant dream, something I believed would stay on my bucket list for a very long time. God had other plans. My family's two-week trip to Kenya brought this invaluable experience a lot sooner. The trip's mission was to bring donations to orphanages and minister to some churches. What I wasn't prepared for was the gifts I took back home with me. Not material in nature, but ones that live in my heart.
Fellowship and the gift of giving are easy to take for granted. However, not a day goes by when I am not thankful for the opportunity to worship with and support the beautiful Kenyan partners of GDP Kenya. Their joy, faith, and hospitality, has deepened my own sense of community, and was truly a blessing to witness.
There is so much more that could be said about GDP Kenya, but the best way to learn more is by partnering with them yourself.
To the GDP Kenya team and the wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ from Kenya,
Asante sana na Mungu akubariki!
I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for GDP and your incredible dedication to serving others. While I’m not sure if I’ll ever have the chance to travel to Africa and connect with its wonderful people in person, your organization has allowed me to support, help, and encourage from afar. I’m genuinely grateful for your transparency and consistent communication. I never imagined I could be part of such a fantastic mission, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity. Keep up the outstanding work!

GDP is a remarkable organization dedicated to transforming the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in Africa. Their commitment to transparency and integrity in managing donor finances is truly commendable, ensuring that every contribution directly benefits the children in need. With a clear breakdown of how funds are utilized, donors can rest assured that their generosity is making a tangible impact. This level of honesty fosters a strong sense of trust and encourages more individuals to get involved in supporting these critical initiatives.
What sets GDP apart is their unwavering focus on special needs children, a demographic often overlooked in philanthropic efforts. Their tailored programs not only provide essential resources like education and healthcare but also create inclusive environments where these children can thrive. The heartwarming stories of transformation and resilience from the beneficiaries speak volumes about the organization's effectiveness. By prioritizing both transparency and the unique needs of special needs children, GDP is not just making a difference; they are fostering hope and empowering future generations in Africa.
I recently had the profound pleasure of engaging with GDP, an organization that is truly making a difference in the lives of countless individuals across Africa. From their unwavering commitment to helping orphanages to their transparent financial practices, GDP stands out as a beacon of hope in the nonprofit landscape. It's refreshing to see an organization that not only prioritizes the welfare of vulnerable communities but also ensures that donors can trust where their contributions are going. Their honest reporting and openness about finances provide peace of mind, allowing donors to feel confident that their generosity is making a tangible impact.
One of the most commendable aspects of GDP is their dedication to empowering women in Africa. Through outstanding initiatives that focus on education, entrepreneurship, and health, GDP is working to uplift women and girls, giving them the tools they need to transform their lives and communities. The programs they implement not only address immediate needs but also foster long-term change, creating a ripple effect that benefits entire families and communities. It’s inspiring to see how GDP empowers women to take charge of their futures, ultimately leading to stronger and more resilient societies.
In addition to their empowering initiatives, GDP is also committed to providing basic necessities, such as clean water and nutrition. Their clean water projects are vital, as they significantly reduce the risk of waterborne diseases and improve overall health in the communities they serve. Furthermore, their feeding programs ensure that children and families have access to nutritious meals, helping to combat hunger and malnutrition. The holistic approach GDP takes to community development is truly impressive, addressing not just one issue but multiple facets of poverty and need.
Lastly, I cannot recommend the mission trips sponsored by GDP enough. These trips are not only well-organized and worth every penny but also life-changing for participants. The opportunity to witness firsthand the impact of GDP’s work and to engage directly with the communities they serve is an experience that stays with you long after you return home. It’s a chance to contribute to meaningful change while gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by others. Overall, GDP is an exceptional organization that is making a profound difference in Africa, and I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to support their mission.
I am truly amazed at the work that GDP is accomplishing in East Africa. They are always trying to find ways to help those in need. They are helping children in war torn areas such as Sudan supplying them with food and supplies. I am grateful for the continued interest of GDP in helping others who are less fortunate.
In 2023, I was blessed to travel with the GDP Kenya Team. The experience was life-changing and traveling with such great leaders, who have a God-given passion to sow into the lives of others.
They give unconditionally and seeing the outpouring of love is incredible! GDP mission is to spread the love of Jesus in word and action. Seeing the joy on every child's face was breathtaking and they appreciated everything they received. GDP sows unconditionally of their time, gifts, and treasures. They are blessed to be a blessing! Your financial gifts of Love will help GDP continue spreading Love to our Kenya families! Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thanks, GDP for your sacrifices! God Bless you exceedingly and abundantly above ALL you can ask or think!
Asante Sana
Genuine and honest people doing great work for a greater purpose. My family and I had the opportunity to go on a mission trip with GDP Kenya leaders. It was a life-changing trip to say the least. To be able to see firsthand the work they do, and the lives that are being changed was humbling. The GDP leaders themselves are humble people with big hearts and an unwavering passion for the work. Everything we saw and experienced was done with love, grace, and integrity. The level of commitment and service is commendable. We left a piece of our hearts in Kenya, but also have a new desire to take part in the work that is being done through GDP Kenya.
The Global Development Project is near and dear to m heart because it is ran by some of the most caring, loving and realist people I know! Not only do I call them Family - they are Family! They are God fearing servants of Christ who put their all and all into helping to build and re-structure orphanages, schools and to empower women and children in Africa!
Their missionary work and mission never stops! Although they have full-time jobs, they always have time to ensure that they take care of others in Kenya and surrounding cities.
The most recent Women’s Empowerment Conference was a big success and with the help of donors, they were able to have over 100 women attend the conference which is huge thanks to generous donors.
I will continue to support the Global Development Project so orphan kids will have a safe place to stay, decent schools and gain knowledge to further their education and life skills.
All the funds that are raised go towards helping the citizens whether it be clothing, education, food or whatever the biggest need is at the time.
The Global Development Project is changing lives on at a time and with our support we can ensure that no one gets left behind!
Keep up the great work!
I have been a volunteer with GDP for several years and believe in their mission to spread love and hope to under served communities and children’s homes in Kenya. Not only do they provide food, clothing and school supplies but provide jobs for the community by hiring companies within the communities to complete projects. I will continue to volunteer because I believe in their mission and seeing the beautiful faces of the children is priceless.
Seeing the many lives GDP has touched by giving and doing so much is amazing. They're a beacon of hope, a safe harbor and a solid foundation for so many and I will continue to do all and everything I can to help and support GDP Kenya, because helping others isn't a choice it is one of the greatest gifts their is. My prayer is that God Bless all the GDP team members and may he also Bless and protect the women and children at the Good Samaritan Children's Home.

My previous post: GDP Kenya is one of the very few charity groups that we have known the directors personally, and can literally point to where every dime has gone. They don't just "do things" for the sake of saying "hey, look what we're doing", but they help, give hope, and actually love the children they support and care for. How do I know, they took me on a mission's trip with them!!
Fast forward a year later. Nothing has changed. They've simply gotten bigger, helped more kids, given more hope, and changed more lives. I've tripled my donations. Something I'm proud to be a part of and associated with.

Thank you Global Development Project for your professionalism, integrity, and transparency. But most of all, thank you for your hard work!

Honest non-profit organization! Wow, enough said! Been giving and supporting them for 8 years now. Can't say enough great things about them. There work in Africa has been incredible. Seeing the results in the form of smiles was enough for me!
GDP is doing wonderful things for the children at the Good Samaritan Shelter Orphanage and the work on the building making sure every child has a place to go for shelter a bed and food along with clothing and the younger children and for the older teens. Helping GDP is something I will always do and look forward to doing more. May God continue to Bless everyone member of the GDP organization and family.

Thank you for your generous and continuous support! You have been a vital part of giving opportunities to these kids that they didn't have!!
I have known of GDP for several years and have seen the impact that they have had in Kenya at the Orphanage and how the children go on and graduate from College. In all the pictures I have seen I only see happy and smiling faces on the children. I know that they have also built an addition for the special needs children. The pictures are awesome of the work that GDP does and showcases the care they have for their projects and all involved.
Children are our next generation and GDP is providing tools to ensure they have the skills and knowledge.

Thank you for all that you have done to help support these beautiful kids! None of this is possible without you! You truly make a difference in their lives!
Couldn't ask for a better group of people to partner with in supporting these kids that are in great need. I had a chance to travel with GDP to Kenya on a 3 week trip where we worked in the orphanages, cared for the orphans that had special needs, and supported and taught Trauma Based Care to the social workers involved in their care. What an honor to partner with GDP. What an honor. So much more that is needed. Please support them. No amount is too great or small!
Very honest, very loving group of people. All of them volunteer their time, money, and efforts to flying to Africa and caring for those children that are so desperate. This is my 7th year supporting and will continue to do so.
I’ve volunteered with GDP now for years. Very transparent with their funding and you see the difference it’s making with people. If you ever get the chance, I’d recommend going on a trip with GDP to Kenya! Life-changing!
Hi, I am a volunteer for several orphanages in and around Nairobi Kenya East Africa. I am truly delighted with GDP-Kenya and the work they have done in the community. I've seen a real transformation in whatever project they may be involved in. The transformation was not just limited to the structures of the buildings, but to the children and the staff as well. I would say that they bring the joy along with them when they come. The staff members are especially friendly and accommodating. I give GDP Kenya 2 thumbs up.
Continue performing a great and admirable work.
