Causes: International, International Cultural Exchange, International Exchange
Mission: Global Connections Foundation empowers individuals to develop financial independence and build resilient communities in underserved and under-resourced villages in Kenya by providing access to the tools, knowledge, and resources to achieve their educational, professional, and entrepreneurial goals. Global Connections Foundation is a nonprofit corporation registered in the State of New Jersey exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
Results: Completed the design of Risaga Connection Center, sponsored two small scale business entrepreneurs.
Target demographics: empower individuals to develop financial independence and build resilient communities in underserved and under resourced villages in Kenya.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 5000 villagers gain access to clean water and over 150 students gain direct access to scholarships and school uniforms
Geographic areas served: Educational diplomacy initiative to link American students with Kenyan villages.
Programs: access to the tools, knowledge, and resources to achieve their educational, professional, and entrepreneurial goals.
