Mission: The success center was formed to assist disadvantaged, unemployed and homeless individuals. This assistance is aimed at helping these individual correct and repair past personal problems and gain skill to reenter the job market in a sucessful and productive manner. To achieve these goals the success centers offers individual classes on credit repair; resume writing, interviewing skills, computer developments etc as direct training. Additionally the center works with various governmental and local agencies, and private employers to find find jobs and improve individuals skills
Programs: The center has established a full weekly schedule of classes to assist in the training and employment placing of various disadvantaged,unemployed and homeless individuals. We offer classes on life rebuilding, anger management, resume writing, credit repair, computer and office skills. We established contacts and are working with various govenmental agencies and private employers to develop programs for employment placement. We have been able to provide temporary housing and assist in clients obtain permanent housing. During the year we've provided over 1,000 class hours of training and over 1,000 hours of counseling to individuals trying to rebuild their lives.
Established in 2001, the Global Center for Success (GCS) has served thousands of clients who are struggling to cope with life. Working with the Vallejo Lord’s Fellowship Center, the Christian Help Center Emergency Shelter and other collaborative agencies, the Global Center of Success has helped mainstream homeless and underserved individuals back into the community. GCS uses a holistic approach in working with clients. Our Basic Life Skills Training Program, Adult Education Services, Support Groups, Health & Wellness Education as well as Employment Readiness Training are all geared to nurture, empower, and enable our clients to build on the strengths they already have. We touch not only the person’s physical needs but we also offer spiritual counseling and support as foundations for wholeness and self-sufficiency. GCS is a 501(c) (3) public charity corporation and we depend greatly on donations from the community.
