Mission: The human services center administers 14 buildings which provide affordable, low cost, quality space for 18 non-profit health and human service agencies which help low-income and at risk individuals, children and families to maintain productive lives.
Programs: The human services center enhances the social services delivery system for underserved, at risk individuals and families so that they may access affordable, quality human care services to become participating and contributing members of the community. This is accomplished by providing low cost services, a centrally located space and easy access to public transportation. The 18 agencies at the center provide 100+ programs to the community and serve approximately 10,000 clients a month. The agencies at the center provide services for those in need of: mental illness treatment, children's health care, volunteer services, drug and alcohol treatment, childhood education and many other services. It is the center's belief that no child shall go without health care, and we are determined to make this a reality for the children of sarasota county.
