Causes: Arts & Culture, Single Organization Support
Mission: Giving Is Living, Inc is an organization who started in 2021 on a mission to help the homeless community. Our goal is to bring change to the poverty area's of the city. We serve and feed and give hygiene essentials to the homeless community, we took on helping the domestic abused women and children also. We are on a mission to be able to feed and shelter both parties and provide counseling, training, and any essentials need to help them get back on their feet. As a team we want to spread and show them that they matter and to make sure they know their not in this fight alone.
Results: As a result to date, I am just getting back started do the health reason. But we have feed and serve over 5000 homeless people in the communities and also at the shelter's. We also volunteer with other organizations for food distributions to the community.
Target demographics: Donors are able to help by providing donations, and volunteer their services to help us to be able service's the poverty area's of our communities.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Last year we feed over 5000 homeless people and domestic abused women and children with assistance in bring change to the community. We were also able to provide blankets, clothing,food and all hygiene essentials needed for the community.
Geographic areas served: The mission for Giving is Living Inc is to be able to serve the homeless by providing meals, clothing and any essential needed to bring change to the community, we also deal with abused women and children to protect them from harms way by providing rooms, and assist with getting away from their abuser.
Programs: We provide counseling to help with communication of the homeless and domestic women and children. Food, clothing, training, and also seek help from other organizations to help with room and board. And any other help needed to move forward with helping the community.
