Mission: Provide service/assistance for young people in recovery.
Programs: In 2016, 8 young men were a part of the wings phase 1 program. Program participants received work training, housing, education and support. Three young men received their ged and all successfully transitioned to either their own housing and employment. Three young men got their own job and vehicle while living in wings hud housing (phase 2 house). In december 2016, wings closed the men's program in cooperation with wasco county community corrections. Their department of justice grant allows wings to offer housing and service to young men coming out of jail. Wings has also supported young mothers in recovery by assisting with supported housing and creating a gluten free bakery to provide valuable work/life skills and provide additional program revenue. Housing and services, beginning october 2016, were provided to six moms and ten children.
