My experience was great! I had much fun. Most people go to work ,and don't have that much fun. Either they're stressed out from their problems at home, can't pay their bills, rent, or having some relationship issues. But here at GirlSource, you are not going to have that type of vibe. There's a lot of fun, you have no choice but to be in a good mood. I mean look at the bright side, you can do things that you probably haven't done before. Like me,I haven't done things such as make documentaries, a collage, or learning how to handle different things in a better way...What i am saying is that if you are interested, then that's a good because i's the $900 you are going to get...I no rite $900 hahaha lol...
I think it was terrific. I fell it's good place for young women of color. Very nice dedicated people. You will never feel as if no one can relate to your problem that your having or as if you can't to speak to anyone.Everyone at Girlsource are Friendly they only wish the very best for you. You will never forget this experience or the feelings you share here.
My experience at GirlSource has been great. i have learned a lot from everyone. Through the video poems we made I learned a lot from everyone's experiences. The group discussion helped a lot to be more open and get to know people's different point of views. Discussions from workshops like about the issues young women go through in our community.
My exprince was great it was awesome here and i enjoyed it .I learned alot of new things here and iam grateful for that.IT Was a nice exprince for me and all of us here and i know we or i will take some thing of this to others
My experience at girlsource was fun, unforgetable. I learned a couple things I didn't know before and met beautiful people.
In this program, I learned more than technology. Ive learned how to be a leader and be more open to others. The program is over tomorrow, but I've already learned how to share my skills with others. After GirlSource taught me how to use different applications on the MAC computer, I went back to my other program, I Have a Dream and helped them fix the computers and also taught my fellow peers about iMovie, Photoshop, Powerpoint and more. I learned how to speak up and not to be shy in front of others. I start to talk and participate more in different conversations. Ive met people that I will definitly keep in contact wit in the future. They are life time friends, and im not just saying that. I shared secrets that I would never ever in my life tell ne one. I knew I grew out of my shell. I know that I will be telling everyone to apply to this program. Especially a chick coming out of the ghetto, this experience has open many doors for me. The last thing I want people to know is that, the staff arent like teachers.. They are more like adult friends. They understand everything you say. The one on one talk that we had with AnaEyvette, made a difference. She was willing to help me even after i graduate from this program. With both getting a job and my academics.
I had a wonderful experience at Girlsource,as a TLP member. We learned a lot about technology and what concerns young women. Overall it was a great experience and every girl should have to experience it.
what I liked about this program was that I have gained a lot of technical skills. It's a ver small group of girls and I learned how to work in teams and speak up for myself. I really had a good time!
