Mission: We seek to help young women develop healthy self-image through music creation and performance. Our goal is to develop a supportive community of peers and mentors, to foster the development of life skills, and encourage social change.
Geographic areas served: Las Vegas, Clark County
Programs: Our Las Vegas summer rock and roll camp is open to all girls ages 9-17, regardless of previous musical training. Girls come to camp, choose and instrument to learn and form real rock and roll bands!
Daily camp sessions begin with a spotlight on a female musician. Girls then go to individual instrument instruction morning sessions. In the afternoon, bands work on writing and practicing original songs. At the end of camp, bands present their songs at a showcase concert.
