Causes: Children & Youth, Girls Clubs
Mission: The mission of girls incorporated of st. Louis is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold by providing educational, recreational, and cultural programs to girls in a safe environment to enable them to raise their aspirations and realize their potential.
Programs: Afterschool program: provides educational enhancement, personaldevelopment, cultural arts, and sports/physical development. Girlsinc served 208 girls in 2017.
summer program: provides learning opportunities that areage-specific, hands-on, and interactive. Girls are encouraged totake risks and master physical, intellectual, and emotionalchallenges so they can gain a sense of their own power andstrength. Girls inc served 217 girls in 2017.
outreach-prevention: provides education on prevention of teenpregnancy, drug and alcohol abuse and sexual abuse. The primary target population for outreach programming is agencies/organizations throughout the st. Louis metro area which serve children ages 5-8.
