My volunteering began four years ago when my daughter expressed an interest in Girl Scouts. I didn't know much about the Girl Scout organization other than they had been around since I was in elementary school (needless to say-they had been around much longer than that). Girl Scouts has really helped my daughter to be more confident, build better personal relationships and take responsibility for her actions. It's a great organization and I as a leader have grown personally as well. K Latta
