After teaching young women filmmaking, Girls IN Focus was born out of the community of passionate filmmakers driven to collaborate and create! It's really the young women and girls that said we need this and we are here to stay!

Mission: To shatter the gender gap by educating and helping create film industry leaders one girl at a time.
Results: 100% of our alumna have gotten into top film school programs.
Target demographics: Girls and non-binary youth 12-18
Direct beneficiaries per year: 500 students
Geographic areas served: Los Angeles and World-wide
Programs: Our summer filmmaking intensive where girls make a film from idea to red carpet screening in just 3 weeks right on the Radford Film Studio lot.
