Causes: Children & Youth, Girl Scouts of the U.S.A.
Mission: Girl scouts of montana and wyoming will shape leaders for tomorrow by empowering girls to take on bold challenges, discover their own passions and strengths, act with character, and engage fully in fun experiences that encourage friendships and build life-long skills.
Programs: Gsmw served 8,978 girls in grades k-12 and 2,915 adult volunteer members across montana and wyoming. We are a girl-led organization that believes in the hands-on learning process. Our members participate in a variety of programs and activities that build self-confidence, teach leadership skills, develop courage to take on new challenges, encourage healthy living, and inspire them to serve their communities in purposeful and meaningful ways. These programs and activities include, but are not limited to: stem (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), outdoor activities and camping, goal-setting and budgeting, community volunteering, and entrepreneurship through the financial literacy program.
