Mission: Girl scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.
Programs: The girl scout leadership experience - the girl scout leadership experience prepares girls to be future leaders in their communities, businesses, and families by combining skills education on problem solving, conflict resolution, resilience, team building, and diversity with exposure to science, technology, engineering, and math (stem), financial literacy, environmental stewardship, advocacy, and health. Our program reflects the belief that a leader understands herself and her values (discover), cares about, inspires, and teams with others (connect), and acts to make the world a better place (take action). During the year ended september 30, 2015, the girl scout leadership experience gave over 41,000 girls the tools they need to make the world a better place, and provided over 9,700 girls with financial assistance.
