Mission: The Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts (GSCWM) serves more than 10,000 girls in grades K-12 in 186 communities in central and western Massachusetts. Our mission is building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. Girl Scouting is the premier leadership development organization for girls. In November, 2011, Forbes Magazine rightfully labeled Girl Scouts, “the ultimate pipeline for women leaders.” GSCWM encourages local young girls to set high goals and aspirations in life and instill in them the courage, confidence and character to not only improve their lives but the communities in which they live.
