Mission: To provide financial assistance to worthy-college bound youth. The scholarship committee of the girl friends fund assumes the task of evaluating applications, promoting achievement and encouraging exceptional students by assisting financially young scholars who seek to obtain college degrees in professional, business or technical areas. Other committees are focused on fundraising activities. The scholarship committee successfully created a seamless new process to manage and process the growing number of four-year scholarships distributed to approved scholars through the girl friend's fund.
Programs: Twelve (12) new four-year scholarships were awarded through the girl friends fund this fiscal year, bringing the organization's total scholarship distribution to thirty-four(34).
