0 stars. All about money and no real help except room if you're homeless. Free place but a joke as far as any kind of help for addiction. The staff is horrible and clueless. No counseling... No care. I'm going to get this info to everyone who will listen. They shouldn't be able to fool the public like they are for donations.Parade participants around for donations. Disgusting.
Like many of the women served at Gilgal, I came with nothing but brokenness and an addiction that had the best of me. I had even lost the ability to hope and dream. Thank you Lord for the staff and volunteers of Gilgal who invested in me providing food, shelter, clothing, case management, classes, and a job opportunity - a career to be excited about. I even completed my GED! I am hopeful for my future and I can dream again.
Gilgal is a lie ! I was here for 9 months. Abuse, disrespect ,harrassing staff. A nightmare . I found my peace eventually. That was with God . That could have happened anywhere.
The owner does not care about the women there. She says she does. Not true.
My first day there I was told, I was going to starve because Im a vegetarian . That was my greeting.
