Mission: Through educational programs and activities, GiGi''s strives to inspire and educate new parents, families and the community at large to see the limitless potential of individuals with Down syndrome. All GiGi''s Playhouse programs are FREE to everyone!
Target demographics: individuals with Down Syndrome and their families,
Geographic areas served: Des Moines
Programs: Our Math and Literacy programs, based on documented research, teach individuals with Down syndrome how to read and complete everyday math tasks, the way that they learn best. We also have age appropriate therapeutic programs which focus on various skills including fine and gross motor, speech and language, and social skills development. Each of these programs incorporate play-based therapy. The result of this skill development is higher self esteem for both parent and child!
