The state of NJ has been notoriously known for not being veteran friendly compared to other states. This organization has been consistency making it easier for vets to navigate their needs.
It's important that there is more awareness for such a cause.
I have seen firsthand the terrific work they do supporting military families. They are passionate and dedicated individuals who care about their clients. I am incredibly proud to support this amazing organization!
There’s a lot of information , twists and turns. But, to have an organization that helps break down the meaning has been the smoothest ride a veteran can ask for. After your service, they don’t tell you how it’s going to be. They won’t be specific as to what form means what , just to confuse you luckily The GI Go Fund helped these processes tremendously, thank you very much for all that y’all do.
Whenever I have questions about my benefits, I always get the answers I need. They're always helpful, especially when I need to print documents. They do they do their job with due diligence and I could always tell that they care. I truly appreciate everything this small company does.
I am very grateful for the assistance I received from Joe on my paperwork. I appreciate his insight and professionalism.
Many thanks to GI Go Fund.
Joseph was a great help in getting me started with my claim. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with!
I visited a while ago and was given legal referrals. The staff is friendly and quite knowledgeable. Got a few things like essential items, t-shirts, and a bus pass for month. They've been very helpful through my transition to civilian life. I had very little exposure to some of the benefits that I would be entitled to. Transitioning is not easy, especially if most of your adult life was in the Army. I'm excited to start my journey to a new career while going back to school in the fall this year.
I very glad I stumbled upon G.I. Go Fund. It was quite helpful. Staff member even made made me a cup of coffee!
gi go fund was able to point to the right directions when i need help with my benefits. information isnt really easy to get when your discharged. the staff knows their stuff. im feeling confident moving fwd with my life as i was dealing with homless ness. it shouldnt be difficult for vets to get their needs taken care of. finding a place like this should be accessible everywhere.
I been homeless before and this organization was able get me a job at Hello Fresh. Been there for 7 years. They helped me alot. I dont know what I would do without them.
Hi My Name is Noelle and I am veteran of The United States Navy. I was referred to GI Go fund by Soldier, and I must say that the work they do for the veteran population is amazing. Joseph was able to help me promptly and provide insight on what other benefits I am entitled to. I am truly thankful for GIGO and everything they do. Strongly recommend
I stumbled in their office looking for information of what benefits I was able to take advantage of. I didn't know much about transitioning to civilian life after serving. Now I have an understanding of how to navigate being in the veteran community. So much to learn!
The GI Go Fund is such a great organization! They help so many veterans in so many different ways! From resume writing to job search and even help with service-connected claims they do it all! I will continue to refer veterans to them for these services. Keep up the good work!
I was not aware of the GIGO program until I was referred by Ashely from the soldier program. I did not know what to expect when I arrived for some more information about programs I qualify for as a veteran. I was met with a warm welcome from Joe and Ruth. I was informed about more programs than I could imagine and they were thoroughly explained by both Joe and Ruth respectfully and it made me feel like I was apart of a team again. Since my discharge life has been a long adjustment so the feeling I get when coming here even if its to get some studying done or applying for jobs is unmatched. I appreciate this program and I hope it last longer than I'm here on this earth because every veteran needs a place to feel at ease.

Hi! A great profit! As a single mom, I needed some help and GI was on it. With no hesitation, I was helped in a short timely manner. Will recommend to any other veteran I know. I appreciate the service.
The GI Go Fund was able to help me relocate to North Carolina to live with my daughter by providing assistance for the U-Haul to move the few items I couldn't live without. I am a retired veteran on a limited income and this was the only option due to many medical issues. I am truly grateful for this organization.
GI GO is a great non profit that really helps veterans especially Joe is a great resource that I would recommend for any service members in need
Always a wonderful experience working with the Gi Go Fund, they go above and beyond in terms of helping and supporting veterans in the community.
Gi go fund representative Joseph helped me with alot of job offers service connection etc. It's a great program that helps veterans who are struggling get on their feet I highly recommend all veterans get service connections with gi go fund it really does help and make a difference gladly appreciate it thanks Dwan Harris
Joseph has been beyond helpful. Being severally disabled both physically and mentally is extremely difficult. There are times where I just wanted to give up. Then I got referred to Joseph and his program. He is beyond informative and answers all my calls and questions even if it's bizarre hours because he knows how bad my PTSD and anxiety is. I've recommended multiple people to Joe, he's a life saver!
GiGoFund is a fantastic organization. Joe B. is extremely knowledgeable, provides excellent service, and helpful to all Veterans especially with discharge upgrades and service connections. Very impressed with his professionalism and willingness to help!
The mission statement and values of GI GO Fund coincides with each other making it a great impact on the veteran community. Joe has been very helpful in assisting me submitting my disability claims. He is very responsive and always follows up with any questions or concerns that I may ask. Thank you GI GO Fund for all your help and all that you do.
High appreciate and suggest GI Go Fund. They’ve been able to assist me in different factors of civilian life, my family and veteran status to ensure I am met with the best resources and tools to move forward in life. Knowing I can call and reach out to someone and get a response, makes me feel better knowing their our people out there making sure your needs are met. Thank you again for all that you do.
Joe from GI GO FUND has helped me twice. the first is to obtain aid and attendance fund and the second is to find a civil service job. He is of great help to me as Im dealing with stroke. Much thanks
Jack and James,
On behalf of myself and John Errichetti, we would like to thank you and your team for the exceptional job helping in multiple ways.
Colonel Burns took the entire day to ensure John’s claim was submitted to the VA for processing. As a result of the selfless efforts put forth, John is now able to pursue his medical needs at the VA in less than a month after meeting with Colonel. John getting the care he needs and deserves, has given him more to look forward than he did before we entered your office.
As a disabled veteran myself, it was a privilege to experience the assistance Colonel offered and continues to stay in contact as John’s claim is processing. In my experience previously, both for myself and other vets, navigating the process has been a task. Therefore, a finer avenue does not exist for vets in need of personalized and efficient care, as this is exactly how your team carried themselves when helping others.
Additionally, Ruth’s assistance with truck repairs was also helpful. The opportunity to apply for a grant assisting with the costs of unexpected vehicle repair costs was and is extremely appreciated.
Moving forward, any of the veterans who are in need of the assistance offered by your team, will be referred to utilize the resources your team has made available in times of need.
Thank you again for everything and please let me know if there is anything I can do to giving back for all your office has done please let me know. In additional ways to that of further encourage veterans who are in need of assistance have a tested and true referral that can be acted upon quickly when read. As this is a testimony provided through personal experience as described above and witnessed first hand in person.
Sincerely,
Andy Laffey
My experience with this nonprofit, is that i really enjoyed seeing what they do to help veterans but and providing us information on what helps us. Especially with understanding how the veteran claims work along with how veterans can even get their gi bill or others ways of help. The information provided was very helpful as it helped me determine the years of active service I need to accomplish that is best for the benefits I can earn.
I got so much information from the organization. they were a great with my GI Bill and many other programs that the organization have for veteran. I got a lots of information from when I am ETS. thank you so much for all the help.
Excellent help. Willing to go the extra mile. Always available or will get back to you ASAP.
I have dealt with more than one program regarding a service connected disability; there is a clean, comfortable office you can go to, or almost always reach somebody on the phone and if you cannot they will respond to you asap. They are happy to help you and understand what you are going through, as many of the individuals working here themselves are going through a similar situation or have in the past. It seems as though everyone at GI Go Fund Inc will work effortlessly on your behalf. I highly reccomend.

Joe Gigo has been Excellent helping me step by step explaining everything and is always available. This is the best Organization that I have worked with.Thank you for all you.
This is a great nonprofit that helps veterans. Jeans for troops is one of my favorite events to participate in.
GI Go was able to help me secure employment since 2017 and has helped me with transportation. I pop in to say hello from time to time.
I've volunteered for the GIGO Fund Seal Swim for the past 3 years and will continue to do so. Great organization.
GI Go Fund is an incredible organization! Not only do they go above and beyond to support the veteran community, but they are exceedingly passionate about making a difference. This organization is nothing short of amazing. Thank you GI Go Fund for all you do!
The GI Go Fund is a one stop shop for veterans in need. The staff is knowledgeable about veterans’ benefits and services. Guests will feel welcome with a courteous atmosphere. Will certainly visit again.
GI Go Fund is a beautiful organization that genuinely cares about supporting our veterans and their families. I am a proud supporter of their initiatives and efforts! I genuinely admire their ability to be at the forefront of making a significant change in the veteran landscape. Thank you, GI Go, for all you do and for establishing such a supportive community and message for our veterans!
I have had the pleasure of working with James Fanous and GI Go Fund for almost 6 months now and I am honored. It is such an amazing organization that was started with such a beautiful message. GI Go Fund cares deeply about their community, those who have served our country and their families. Their mission to give back is commendable and touching.
The GI GO FUND does incredibly important work supporting our country’s veterans. As a volunteer in the office, I was astounded by the amount of veterans the office assists with finding material assistance, jobs, and with filing for disability. The staff is professional but friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere for veterans who often must share personal information in order for their cases to be properly handled. The fundraising aspect of my experience at GI GO FUND was interesting as well, as the leaders of the organization have devised unique and fun events, such as the SEAL team swim and the bi-annual Jeans for Troops program. The SEAL team swim allowed veterans of the Navy Seals to exhibit their exceptional physical ability in a civilian environment, which was interesting in itself, but getting a chance to meet and converse with Navy Seals is a unique opportunity in and of itself. Reaching out to schools to gain participants toward the non-profit’s Jeans for Troops fundraisers gave me a chance to refine my own communication skills, as I was reaching out to school front offices from different parts of the country with varying levels of familiarity with the concept of Jeans for Troops. Overall, volunteering with the GI GO FUND was a very fulfilling venture that led to significant growth in my professional skills. I would encourage anyone interested in volunteering for a non-profit to volunteer for the GI GO FUND, as it will allow you to gain important skills and to make a difference for those who have served our country.
Ruth and Joe are professional, helpful and kind. They provided me a $500 grant and further assisted me in viable job leads.
Joe has been greatly helpful in any and everything he can help me with. Very resourceful respectful & genuine.
Volunteering event was well structured and enjoyable to interact with other volunteers and employees. We assembled supply bags for participants in the Seal Swim event. Light refreshments were provided. Thank you GI Go
They are a very caring organization who really listen and really individualize the assistance they offer to the needs of each individual.
Very grateful to have come across them.
I first heard of GI Go Fund through school and have been so welcoming and extremely helpful during my time transitioning out of the military. They’re knowledgeable in every way and will go ABOVE AND BEYOND their calling to help you and make sure you’re well taken care of. An absolute pleasure.
Proud of the men who started the GIGO .org. organization.
They understand how important it is to recognize the importance of our veterans and their families.
Especially in the ability to transition back into society.
I served as a volunteer for the Gi Go’s annual Navy Seal Swim this passed summer. I was so impressed with the amount of care and dedication this team has for our veterans.
Great organization that does amazing things for veterans! I've volunteered at several of their events and have seen how much effort and dedication they have towards helping military families. I'm proud to support them!!
Proud of all the work GI Go Fund does to help veterans and other organizations serving these great men and women!
GI Go Fund has been doing great work in the veterans space since 2006. The organization works hard every day to get veterans and their loved ones the support they need with finding employment, job training, entrepreneurial aid, housing assistance, claims management, and emergency services. GI Go has helped countless veterans over the past 15 years across the country, including thousands in the NY/NJ region from the organization's Veterans Center in Newark, NJ.
GI Go Fund is an incredible group founded in honor of Lt. Seth Dvorin to help all veterans. There is a great team and board committed to serving veterans!
I have been dealing with GI Go fund for nearly three years, and this organization and everyone involved care about doing anything they can to help veterans. Whether it's resume building, helping with a job search, providing a bus pass for transportation or a beverage to drink while in the office. I highly recommend this organization for any veteran needing assistance!!
Joe has always helped my clients in a timely manner. He is responsive and provides solid leads for my clients. He has been an asset to our veterans. Also, the organization has helped meet the gap with certain things we cannot assist with. It’s always easy working with Joe and the rest of Gi Go Fund.
G.I. go fund is without a doubt one of the most effective organizations when it comes to impacting veterans for the better. I cannot thank them enough for all of their help!
They say they only provide emergency funding but it has been several weeks and not a single word. What kind of emergency service is that? They also claim to help you find a job but they haven't found me nothing. When I call and follow up the people who answer the phone cannot answer my questions and the supervisor is never in. Is that the way to treat someone who served their country?
They've helped me twice when nobody else could/would. They are the real deal and I will vouch for them all day long! These guys really do help veterans and the funds reach the people that need them most. Thank you GI Go Fund!
