I have contributed to GFA for over 10+ years. I have personally visited a bible college and two Bridge of Hope campuses in India. I also met with local workers and have seen first-hand the love of Christ being shared with those in need. GFA's work is real and the challenges are many. This is a great organization devoted to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They exemplify the love of Christ and they spread His hope to all in need. I completely endorse this organization.

GFA spreads Jesus’ love to Unreached and forgotten people, meeting their needs in practical ways and beyond that proclaiming the gospel and establishing churches. They keep their supporters involved and informed about their work with personal contacts as well as mail and email.

GFA World is a ministry with a mission field of almost 2 billion people, including the poorest of the poor in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and the slums of India. Now expanding to Rwanda and Liberia, they utilize native missionaries who know the language and culture well. This makes them incredibly effective from day one. There is no better place to invest in eternity and help to fulfill Jesus’ great commission!

GFA does amazing work. Not only do they provide needed resources to Asian underprivileged groups of people by supplying and teaching the people gardening, health (including need for clean water and providing that very necessary need), animal husbandry and supplyng the chickens, goats, cows, etc to the people, but also sharing a the love of Jesus and His death and resurrection to save us from our sins which has eternal blessing.

This ministry is doing a great job with helping people in need and sharing the gospel. It's amazing to partner with them as a western because I wouldn't be able to go serve in many countries that they are working in. I'm thankful to God for GFA and how they help in practical ways such as chickens, buffalos & clean water.

GFA World is committed to bringing the Good News of Jesus to a world desperate for Hope. In spite of tremendous spiritual warfare they are seeing the Lord reach hundreds of thousands to come to faith each year. I have had the privilege to visit the mission field several times and have personally witnessed the humble, sacrificial commitment of the National missionaries to share the Gospel. All of the different ministry activities such as Jesus Wells, medical camps and Christmas catalog items have one goal, share the Gospel.

We are happy to support GFA because we trust that the money we give goes to help those that are not as fortunate. The Jesus Wells they provide reaches two goals that are important to us. The first and most important goal to us is an eternal goal that people can learn about the Living Water (Jesus Christ) at the same time they go to obtain clean drinking water, which can also be used to grow food, bathe in, and for their animals. Before the Jesus Wells, people would spend most of their day searching for water and if they found any, it was usually contaminated with water borne diseases. The Jesus Wells can support the entire village for approx. 20 years with clean water. The village also learns to maintain the well.

Volunteering for GFA was everything I hoped for and more. My experience has been incredibly fulfilling and impactful. From the moment I joined, it was clear that the heart of this organization is deeply rooted in faith, compassion, and service. Their mission to spread the love of Christ while addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of underserved communities is both inspiring and motivating. If you are looking for an organization that combines deep Christian values with real, tangible action, I highly recommend getting involved with GFA. The experiences I’ve had here have been a blessing, and I am truly grateful to be a part of this incredible mission.

Their outward looking focus for those in need, spreading the word of God and their faith in maintaining the true meaning of what God has called us to do is so reassuring in knowing that we've partnered with the right organization! I have been involved with GFA since 1996 in various capacities, from donor to volunteer and staff member. I have seen just about every facet of the ministry possible including developing lasting friendships with leaders both on the mission field and in the support offices.

The most important thing for me that I've seen is the intense focus on Jesus and the Gospel. There is an obvious love for Jesus throughout this ministry and you see it in their devotion to prayer, to God's Word and to laying down their lives for the sake of others knowing Jesus' love.

This love for Jesus also fuels their pursuit of integrity and excellence. I have trusted GFA with my giving for over 25 years and have no doubts that they are doing everything possible to utilize it in the way they believe will best honor the Lord and further the Great Commission.

In summary, I believe GFA is one of the best--if not the best--places to invest your finances, time and prayer if you want to reach people who have never yet experienced the love of Christ or heard the gospel.

We have been blessed to have supported GFA World for thirty years. Last spring, we saw some of their amazing ministries first hand. These included a couple of Bible colleges, boys' and girls' homes for street children in Delhi, one of the leper colonies GFA built homes for and helped become self-supporting, and a Believer's church with over 1,000 members in an area that was completely unchurched twelve years ago. We saw many other areas where Jesus is being proclaimed to people who are desperate for the physical help GFA provides and for a knowledge of the Truth. The GFA World staff in Texas and in the field are humble, hard working people with a sincere love for God and a heartfelt burden to reach the lost. By far the most astounding and impactful GFA World ministry we visited is a beautiful hospital and medical school in southern India. As everyone needs healthcare at some time in their lives, they are reaching thousands of people a year with the Good News. They plan to use hospital facilities to help reach the lost in Africa as well. We cannot proclaim GFA World's praises enough. God works mightily through K.P. Yohannan, the founder, and his vision for this ministry.

We have been faithfully donating to GFA for nearly 30 years. It has been a blessing to us to be able to bless many lives in Asia. This is a sound Christian organization sharing the Gospel and life to so many.

Last spring we were able to travel to India and see firsthand what we had contributed to. We saw doing amazing things in a near pagan region of the world. We witnessed orphanages, church planting, wells for Jesus, toilets, life skills being taught, work skill training, Seminary classes, medical classes, a world-class hospital where each doctor prays with and over their patients, goats, chickens, and so much more.

God truly has his hand on this ministry, guiding and directing its paths. If you are contemplating partnering with a solid biblical organization this is a fantastic place to join in furthering the Gospel of Christ.

We have been involved with supporting the GFA ministry for some time.

We continue to be impressed with the dedication and love the GFA ministry personnel have for Jesus. This ministry effectively shares the hope that is found in the resurrection of Jesus Christ with often overlooked people groups in the "less developed" parts of the world. The GFA ministry practically demonstrate the love of Jesus by providing practical assistance to some of the "materially poorest" people on the planet.

If you are interested in supporting a ministry which lifts up the name of Jesus and is dedicated to producing as large of a "harvest" as possible, this is one of the best!

I know they do address people's physical needs by digging clean water wells, providing warm weather clothing, support for children to go to school, and much more! Still the emphasis of the entire ministry is to tell people their need for Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord and to plant churches. My wife and I have been involved with GFA for 20 years. In a time when there is so much chaos in the world, GFA has been a beacon of hope for us. Every month we have the blessing of being a small part in God's amazing work in our world. We have the comfort of knowing that every penny we send is going to God's work to care for those who so desperately need it. Our GFA contact, and friend, Tony Barraclough, consistently keeps us apprised of what is going on with the ministry and often just checks in to say hello. The humility within the people of GFA is so refreshing, it reminds us of who we are supposed to be. We plan to be attached at the hip with GFA till the day God takes us home.

I have been a supporter of this ministry for a long time because I believe in their mission. The ministry serves many needy people in Asia where extreme heart wrenching poverty is a daily reality for millions. They have several ministries of compassion to reach lepers, children, widows and the untouchables. We attended one of their "renew your passion" conferences and was able to meet several ministers from the mission field who tangibly minister to the most broken people in Asia. The real stories shared by these ministers impacted me and greatly and stayed with me. It is important to support those who tangibly spread the love of God to all these unreached communities around the world.

Despite the negative comments based entirely on internet hearsay, a judge says otherwise in his decision in a lawsuit against Gospel for Asia. The judge rejected charges as totally without evidence, including charges that funds were misused and that Gospel for Asia leaders were enriched. See news report here about the Canadian case, which was a copy of the one filed in the U.S..
https://canadianchristiannewsservice.com/class-action-against-gfa-world-canada-dismissed-by-ontario-judge/

On the other hand, I have personally met many people impacted by GFA's ministry in Asia, and I have visited their Wills Point Texas campus and seen the modest lifestyle of leaders and staff. This ministry, despite undergoing a concerted series of internet and legal attacks for the last several years, has rescued literally millions of people in Asia from despair and given them new life in Christ.

I would give GFA a zero rating if I could. I supported this organization for MANY years. I sponsored 3 missionaries and 3 bridge of hope children every month. Then, I found out that my money most likely went to support KP's lifestyle! GFA claims that 100% of your money goes to those that you sponsor. WRONG! I will never support this group again.

Hello brethren,
My name is Hosea Mulinde.
Am currently on mission in the UAE.
I and a team of two (pastors Posiano and Ruth) leaders are establishing a Church (one Church One Voice) in Dubai.
We really have financial challenges and needs, Dubai -UAE being a business based territory and a NOT a Christian based. Things are really very expensive when it comes to Gospel missionary work, Visas, rent of the Church facilities and general welfare.
We have just submitted our papers to the Dubai Evangelical Centre Church so we can be recognised as a Church in the UAE in order to operate legally. Waiting for feed back.

We are therefore; looking for individual partners or organisations with a genuine heart for the Gospel in Asia.
Please prayerfully consider to partner with us and support this work. Any Size if donation from $50 is much appreciated. And will go a long way to help our team/ministry to establish this work. Any one willing to join our team for the Gospel is also welcome.

Am willing to share more information about what God is doing here to any one interested.

Our current needs are ;
Visa for two missionaries.
Rent of Church facilities, accommodation for the three ministers and general welfare.

During the recent Covid 19, lock down. God prophetically spoke to us about His heart for the content of Asia. So we obeyed and traveled from Uganda to the UAE. Since we came, things have very hard. But we have to lay a foundation for the Gospel. At this level. The work needs a real financial support if we to make impact in this land.

I live literally down the street from their headquarters in Wills Point, Texas. This is no humble mission to serve Asia. Called several times to get audited financial statements, never a response. Mailed back donation requests writing that I was still waiting to review their financials.......they stopped mailing to me altogether! I challenge anyone to get current statements for review. The latest I was able to obtain were for 2018 and show appalling stewardship of donations. This is a money raising machine, but impossible to know how much is actually being spent on God's work.

I want to thank everyone that has wrote a review here related to this Non-Profit Organization, Gospel for Asia, Inc. - I was about to start making a donation, but something came to my mind and started to just fact check to make sure my money was going to be put in the hands of those who need it the most. The 'advertising' in Facebook stated it will go to feed the hungry in Asia.
To my surprise (not too much really, since now days is about who makes the most money and has the most power, anyway) some of the reviews made me look for more answers. I had been checking so many sites and reading so many reviews and one called my attention. The one that is 'defending' the organization, way too much I think. So I continue checking. I live in Texas, and this person say that the Org. doesn't have any pending business in Texas. Well that is not true. They do... There is at least one law suit (the first I have found) and believe me, it's not good.
Why will these people will want to live the good life at our expense. Why will they promise to use 100% of all donations to serve the poor and then turn around and embellish themselves? Why do they make us 'good intended people' to not have any more faith on these unworthy organizations? Why do they speak and rob in name of god (and not 'my' God) a god, their god the money and ambition.
I am leaving a link for you to check what I am talking about, in case you still believe these people are working in good of the Asian people. They might be doing 'some' good, but i just decided not to place my donation on their hands. I will go to a trustworthy organization to do that. I will be praying to God that He change their heart and stop lying about their organization. Many blessings!

The Holy Spirit prompted me to do some research on GFA, and I was very disappointed with what I read has been going on with them. The red flag for us was that over the last few years we received very few letters from our sponsored dalit child through GFA's Bridge of Hope program, even after we would call or email inquiring about this. We were told that the staff would contact the program center and encourage the child to write to us. Upon looking back at our file of letters, at one point we did not receive any letters from the sponsored child for over a year. At the start of the sponsorship, we were informed that the child would be writing to us two to three times per year, but this did not happen.

As former staff, watching GFA go through the last several years in denial of systemic problems in the ministry that have been there for decades, I can not recommend this ministry as a place either to work/serve or as a safe place to donate money.

They have just this week settled out of court a lawsuit alleging their misuse of funds for $37 million. While they technically were not found guilty of these accusations, they were also not exonerated.

For more information please visit GFADIASPORA.COM. There you will find evidence and stories from former staff that highlight the problems at GFA.

And also please visit Believers Eastern Church’s website to see what the ministry has built in India. Most of the donor base would be quite shocked to learn of the high church direction with one head (the Metropolitan named KP Yohannan) that the churches in India have taken. These aren’t simple little village churches. KP solicited funds from non-denominational churches to build his own new denomination: https://www.bec.org

My experience with GFA began with reading the free book Revolution in World Missions. This book changed my life! I recommend it to anyone who wants to know more about missions and especially mission work in the 10/40 window.
My husband and I began sponsoring a native missionary in 2003. At that time, we were receiving personal letters from our sponsored missionary. At this point, the work on the field has expanded to the extent that these personal letters are no longer available. and we understand that a native missionary has better things to do than writing letters to us!
In 2013, I had the opportunity to visit India and see some of the ministry first hand. We visited Bridge of Hope centers; churches; a boys' home; the site of a girls' home; a leper treatment center; a cobbler making specialty shoes for patients; the sites of several Jesus wells and biosand water filters; a center where widows are taught to read, write, and use a sewing machine; a radio and TV station; and a seminary. We met some of the missionaries who serve selflessly and some of the church members who were eager to show us their churches. We saw slums where thousands of people live with not enough income to provide their families a handful of rice each day.
God is using the little that we give toward this work in a big way. New churches are being started every day. Those who only know of vengeful gods are hearing for the first time about a loving God who sent His Son Jesus to die on a cross for their sins. I pray that all of these dear people will hear the message before it is eternally too late.

For 14 years, I've produced various radio and television projects for Gospel for Asia. I've met with many leaders of GFA and found them to be consistently humble and passionate about their work. And the work they do is changing tens of thousands of lives.

I took a Vision Tour of India and got to see first hand the schools they set up for the so-called "Untouchables"--giving kids a way out of poverty. Although their work is faith-based, they welcome all kids regardless of their faith. I've seen GFA's work in the slums, setting up water wells, providing food, and most of all, providing practical hope.

To help break the cycle of poverty, GFA donates water buffaloes, goats, and chickens to families, which provides not only sources of food and also ways of earning income. GFA also helps women break the vicious cycle of human trafficking by providing them sewing machines. This empowers women to earn a living.

I appreciate the people and the work of GFA--and I've seen first-hand how they genuinely help people break of poverty and share a very beautiful and practical hope.

We have been impressed with how well they communicate with their supporters and the diligence they place on good stewardship, seeing to it that the vast majority of monies donated go to ministry with minimal administrative expenses.
This is a very well run organization that matches its promises with actions and results.

I have known about gospel for Asia for almost 20 years, when K.P. Yohannan can to speak at my church about supporting national missionaries as the share God's love with their own people in Asia. I was intrigued about supporting missionaries in Asia that did not have the typical barriers of western missionaries such as language, life style, customs and a history of oppression and subjugation between our countries.

I have been a supporter of the ministry since that time, sponsoring both missionaries, Bridge of Hope children and donating towards Jesus Wells, church building, gospel literature, sewing machines and many other way GFA helps impoverished families in Asia.

I have been working for GFA for the last 5 years, and being on staff I have realized the scope of the ministry is more vast that I had any idea of! I have been to Asia and met many of the missionaries and staff that work on the field. My admiration for the organization has only grown through the years. I count it a privilege to work here.

They are a humble group of believers who serve the The Lord wholeheartedly . I believe that the staff of GFA are following God's lead in how they reach the lost.

We have been donating to this group for decades. They have done a great job getting water wells put in, schools put in and missions done by the "a little each month goes a long way" type of program. It is hard to imagine a place that a water well makes a huge difference, but they do exist and GFA is providing water wells to communities through donations from here in the US and other countries. With a name like Gospel For Asia it is clear this is a christian organization that does good work to also spread the word about Christ. Go to the website and see where you can participate.

I have been involved with GFA for over 10 years. My knowledge of GFA started with a friend that works for them. After getting a personal account of all the lives that are touched around the world, I had to get involved. I have been very pleased to see their frugalness to insure as much money as possible goes to the ones in need.

This ministry is doing such important work among people who are poor and suffering. So many lives have been changed through their involvement with widows, orphans, and others who live under dire conditions, lack of water, food, and education. The staff are motivated by their love for Jesus and others and I am honored to support them in any way that I can.

Having many close relatives currently working for GFA, I have been provided with a front row seat to the mission of GFA and its grounds in Texas. Right away I noticed what a well-functioning organization this is, and how clear their mission is to spread the Gospel in any way possible. Every day I hear and learn about the different initiatives, plans, and progress GFA has made and I am constantly blown away. Being raised in the church and involved in many different missionary programs and volunteer opportunities has given me a rather good sense of fulfillment and purpose; However, I have never felt as fulfilled and excited with the work done through GFA. What this mission has accomplished and plans to accomplish in Asia is honestly amazing, and I cannot wait to see what God holds in store for GFA in the future.

Gospel for Asia is a reality check to a dark world - a world determined to run headlong into perdition. Gospel for Asia is a bright light, a citadel in the midst of some of the most unreached places on the planet.

As a staff member and donor, I have learned to appreciate the world-wide body of Christ as we pool our resources together to minister God's love to the lost, the needy and the hurting and along the journey, get a glimpse of God's mercy and glory. It doesn't get better than this.

I've worked with Gospel for Asia as full-time staff for almost ten years. Prior to joining staff in 2008, I volunteered at the administrative headquarters in Texas for five years. You could say I've closely observed Gospel for Asia since 2001. What a phenomenal non-profit organization!

I've learn alot, not only in my department and area of expertise, but also regarding the value of how a healthy Christian organization functions. I've seen through the years how graciously department leaders and upper management work together. They handle conflict from within, and persecution and false accusations from without; returning not with fear and malice, but instead with Christ-like humility, maturity, and steadfastness in truth. What a great group of believers to work with.

I've been on four tours through India. I've seen exponential growth of the work and was able ask many, many questions, all of which were promptly and transparently answered. Whether building a school for children, providing food for widows, creating literacy programs for women, or digging water wells for outcast communities; by God's provision, GFA is doing it all. I'm humbled and thankful to work here.

If you are interested in volunteering, donating, or joining staff, I recommend GFA without reserve.

I found out about GFA 11-12 years ago, and I have worked on staff at GFA for about five years. I am incredibly grateful for the work I get to be part of in Asia and for the staff I get to work alongside.

On three different trips to Asia, I’ve gotten to witness the work of GFA-supported missionaries, and each time it’s blown me away how God is using these men and women to humbly and faithfully serve God by serving the people in their communities—whether it’s children, widows, people living in slums, or people of different religious backgrounds.

Working here in the US office, I’ve seen the staff and leadership’s commitment to excellence. While no one is perfect and, just as at any organization, people fail at times, I have seen how the leaders here work tirelessly and how they respect and listen to the staff under them. I also find my co-workers to be committed and hard-working but also open-minded and incredibly supportive.

One of the main reasons why I whole-heartedly endorse supporting Gospel for Asia (GFA) is that they are committed to building up the church. GFA workers in Asia aren’t just interested in getting people to say a prayer of salvation, but also in seeing these people grow in their understanding of the truth. And in America, GFA produces many kinds of materials that are designed to encourage and challenge believers here to walk in closer relationship with the Lord. What a privilege to be part of building God’s world-wide kingdom!

I first heard of Gospel for Asia in 2005 when someone handed me a free copy of the book "Revolution in World Missions" and told me "This book changed my life more than any other book but the Bible." I was intrigued, and read the book, and I can honestly make the same statement now myself--what a change this ministry has made in my life! I was living the American dream, and then my eyes were opened to the more than 2 billion people who have never heard the gospel. Through Gospel for Asia (GFA), my family began sponsoring national missionaries who are taking the good news of Christ to areas where no missionary has ever been, and people have often never heard the name of Jesus. Several of the missionaries we have sponsored have been so successful in church planting that they are now self-supporting, and GFA offered us the opportunity to sponsor others in their place. What an incredible impact in the kingdom of God GFA has allowed my family to be part of. My kids have grown up praying for the missionaries we sponsor, and the children we sponsor through GFA's "Bridge of Hope" child development program. We even got to meet one of the children we sponsor, when we took a trip to Asia recently--the attached picture is of my wife with one of the girls we sponsor. This girl is from the very poorest class of society, and lost her father at age 11, yet through Bridge of Hope she is healthy, happy, excelling in her studies, and even writing us beautiful hand-written letters in English, thanking Jesus for all He has done in her life.
My family also loves GFA's Christmas Catalog program, where we have the ability to "order" gifts from a catalog of income-generating gifts for the poor and tools for missionaries. This has become a Christmas tradition in our family for more than 5 years, that has forever changed the way our children view Christmas. My two youngest daughters were so excited about the Christmas catalog, that last Christmas they saved up all their money for weeks so that they could purchase things from the Christmas catalog, to give to those in need. I attached a candid picture I caught of them perusing the catalog and deciding what they were going to give to. GFA has forever changed the focus and outlook of my entire family, and enabled us to make a greater impact for God's kingdom than we ever imagined.

Gospel for Asia has the best work environment that I've ever experienced during my working career. I’ve worked for a number of companies and organizations over the years (decades) and GFA is the best! I love the freedom and responsibility that go hand in hand in my area of ministry and responsibility. The leaders and supervisors here are doing a great job. They are Jesus style leaders! It’s wonderful to work alongside other committed and growing Christians who have a passion for the Lord and seeing His kingdom grow. I'm not perfect and no one else on staff is. But I've had many supervisors and coworkers come up to me to apologize for something the felt they might have done that impacted me. Most of the time I didn’t even perceive a problem and was not offended. That rarely happens in the secular world. The community of Christ is amazing here! The support and love for one another is awesome. When you are down or struggling, or going through a trial there is someone who notice and pray for you and help in any way possible. You won't find safe rooms or pacifiers for crybabies here. If you are looking for perfection and are easily offended, don't come. You will spoil the work environment for the rest of us. Frankly if you are easily offended and can’t take constructive criticism I have no idea where you will find a place to serve the Lord. What you will find here at Gospel for Asia are real authentic Christians who are investing their talents and abilities in the Kingdom. We work together for a cause that’s well worth it. And don’t believe all the fake news, lies and gossip that’s floating around. Come visit and see the real ministry.

I LOVE this ministry! I've been serving with Gospel for Asia for 8 years, and I can honestly say I'm so thankful the Lord lead me here and has kept me here. Through this ministry, I feel like the Lord has helped me understand more of His heart for the lost world. I've grown more in my understanding of who He is through the teachings we have here, through fellowship with my fellow brothers and sisters here, and through the various seasons of life I've experienced while serving here.

The ministry has gone through a tumultuous season for the past few years as disgruntled former staff seek to gossip and slander a part of Christ's Body. I'm shocked they didn't learn anything about the Lord and His heart for unity and love while here because that's one message that has been taught by the leaders over and over again.

Throughout this trial and despite the ridiculous actions taken by people who claim to know Christ, I've seen the leaders of Gospel for Asia choose the way of the Lord. They consistently choose to love and forgive and walk in grace toward those who made it their cause to try to destroy them and the work the Lord is doing through GFA. I know we wrestle not against flesh and blood, and I'm so thankful for the example of Christ the leaders have exemplified and how they have chosen to bring glory to God's name through their actions instead of defaming it.

I praise the Lord for this ministry and the people involved in it, from GFA staff all around the world to sponsors and donors to our field partners! It's such an INCREDILBLE body of believers who seek to put the Lord first and make Him known among the nations.

Some AMAZING things are happening in Asia through this ministry. AMAZING. God is at work, and nothing will stop Him!

I've been able to meet some of the family in Christ on the field, and each one has in some way or another left a mark on my heart. Faithful men and women who simply and purely love God and love others. I'm still in awe that the Lord has given me the privilege to take part in this work and to be united with His people all across the world. Wow!

Gospel for Asia is a powerful and unique nonprofit, serving in a unique way that connects people in the West with needs that exist in Asia.

Being a person of Indian-origin, having spent significant amounts of time with GFA staff and leadership, I remain impressed and humbled by the integrity and magnitude of the work happening in Asia through Gospel for Asia. It's astounding what is being accomplished now and in the past.

The integrity with which the staff approach their work and the prayer that goes into every decision is something to be admired. Staff prayer times throughout each day, plus staff prayer meetings on Tuesday nights and some Friday nights, keeps the vision of GFA and culture front and center, helping staff not wavering from serving to minister to the oppressed across Asia.

Their office is Texas is worth a visit.

Over my years with GFA, I've seen people raise concerns about the work and leadership of GFA. Those negative reports and rumors do not line up with the culture or my experience with GFA.

I've been able to serve with GFA for nearly 10 years and have confidence in what GFA is doing in Asia and how they handle themselves in the West. This is an organization worth investing in through prayer, volunteerism and donations.

I've been involved with Gospel for Asia in numerous professional ways, and have had to make a personal determination whether GFA is a good organization with a black eye, or a bad organization with a black eye. In the end, I've looked at all the facts and claims against them, and despite the many negative stories that can be read on the internet, I’ve concluded that Gospel for Asia is as authentic of an organization as they come. Their sponsorship and humanitarian work going on in Asia is remarkable. Their financial accountability is unquestionable. The staff are as hard working and sacrificial as any I've known, and Dr. KP Yohannan is rock solid in his commitment to help those in need.

Gospel for Asia has many critics who actively seek its demise: disgruntled former staffers; militant Hindus opposed to Christianity; toxic bloggers who love to criticize; misinformed donors, and sketchy media sources who don't fact check their stories. GFA has been accused of so much nonsense, IT VALIDATES their ORGANIZATION. If they weren't having such an impact in the world, no one would care. Because they ARE having such an impact in the world, they face scathing and vitriolic criticism almost weekly. Those who oppose them start rumors online all the time.

Rumors they have been started online about GFA include the following:
> GFA uses microwave technology to perform mind control on passerbys at their offices in Kerala, India;
> KP Yohannan drives a classic, foreign sports sedan (it's a 1960's VW Beetle w/o AC);
> KP lives in marble palace in India;
> KP was arrested in his marble palace with tons of cash (that story appeared online when he was speaking at a conference in CA);
> There is an outstanding arrest warrant for KP Yohannan in the state of Texas (that news source comes from India ... as if the Indian press really know what's happening in Texas);
> KP Yohannan and his wife Gisela are divorced (lies);
> GFA is part of the Illuminati - a secret society conspiring to control world affairs;
> KP Yohannan requires new Bishops in the Believers Church to kiss his ring in order to be consecrated (based on a sketchy photo someone cooked up this fictitious story);
> KP is funneling money from his denomination into his personal coffers (As its Metropolitan, KP Yohannan in the spiritual head of the Believers Church, not the CFO);
> CBS 11 news in Dallas even ran a story about GFA featuring accusations by former employees that GFA is a cult;
> GFA invests money in water-front condominiums; and on and on.

The bottom line is when I looked into the SOURCES of all these inaccurate stories I came to the clear conclusion that they are created by are people who are looking to ASSASSINATE the BRANDS of Gospel for Asia and KP Yohannan. They are actively doing this by speculating about their motives, dragging down their reputations, propagating falsehoods about their finances, and stirring up all kinds of heresay against them, either because they have a grudge, or are bitter about something, or jealous, or are getting paid to spread rumors and gossip.

In the end, the negative nonsense you find online is simply that: toxicity intended to sway the public into pulling away their support from GFA so as to cause the demise of the organization, in order to reduce its impact around the world. It’s shameful, really, that anyone would stoop to such low levels to propagate lies about an FBO online, but that is the power we give unscrupulous people today to spread falsehoods across the internet.

An open-minded donor will pick up the phone and reach out to GFA, talk with their staff about these issues, and have a honest dialogue which hears their side of the story, before making one-sided conclusions about them based on illegitimate internet propaganda.

After giving over 100,000 dollars to this ministry over the course of 11 years, I must retract everything I held dear about them. Please Google Warren Throckmorton's blog to see what they have done to us - their big donors and volunteers. They have lied to Evangelicals to get their money. I was a volunteer for 9 years, and went to India with them, and have met KP twice. I ignored what I saw in India and wish I hadn't. I saw the best of intentions. Well now I realize the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I regret all the friends I dragged into this ministry. Gospel For Asia, time has been under heavy attack from the enemy. The recent lawsuit, the allegations and blogs, etc., have caused a lot of churches including our own to become weary and skeptical. We have lost a lot of support in our area making it hard to share about the work of GFA, but despite this setback, God is still at work through this wonderful movement. Besides doing our own personal investigation into this mess, I had contacted many friends with questions for peace of mind and we decided not to hear from any one left from GFA but still decided to continue in this storm. Their words of faith and convictions encouraged us more than words can describe.

It wasn't long after that similar allegations were made against so many other ministries including Voice of the Martyrs . Proof that the enemy is trying to destroy these ministries from the inside. As with all ministries, I encourage you to stand with these ministries in prayer. We are still proactive in the work of both of these ministries and we stand with them. We encourage people to be careful with what they read or hear about on the internet and other sources until it's been investigated. We live in desperate times, and the enemy is hard at work in trying to stop the Great Commission through division in the Church.

I wrote a glowing report of this ministry a few years back when I was a student here (at the request of my leaders who were hoping to boost their ranking), but now I have to retract my words and say that I am just so saddened, disillusioned, and done with GFA. I really encourage donors to not just take my word or any of the other reviewer's words but to research this organization for themselves. Read the articles coming out from Christianity Today, talk to the former staff - almost half of the staff have left since I was a student in 2012. There is spiritual abuse, manipulation, and distortion of the truth going on at headquarters and unfortunately I left there having many skewed ideas of what godly spiritual leadership is, what true ministry looks like, transparency among believers, godly submission, etc, and I'm having to relearn and be retaught the whole context of certain scriptures that were taken out of context and used to manipulate staff and students alike. As missions director of my church, it has been difficult to not view Christian organizations with an exorbitant amount of skepticism and distrust after my two years with GFA. Thankfully, there are honest trustworthy organizations out there that arent perfect but definitely are doing more for the kingdom of God than this one.

In terms of accountability ... if you are OK with a continued messaging of urgent financial need coming from GFA, yet at the same time GFA India (or Believers Church) not using significant portions of stockpiled millions of dollars of donor money for what it was given towards - say over the years 2010-2015, and you are OK with the ends justify the means ideology - than by all means, turn a blind eye to a little thing called integrity within christian ministry and continue to do whatever you want with your cash, after all - it really is God's money. And if you are OK with equipping numerous young students with $4500 in cash to take to India and not report the cash to either the US + India (or staff), yet the total cash per trip exceeded $10k per trip (over a two year period of doing this), and you're OK with transferring $19 million from India to US - to finish a US campus, then carry on. Yet if you care about accountability and integrity, you may want to weigh and pray about where you give to. It has been heartbreaking to to see the reality of all that has gone down with GFA - from termination from the ECFA, and the truth former board member Gayle Erwin revealed, it's a sad time for those who dedicated their lives to the work, especially after serving there over a decade. Over 50+ staff left in 2015, let that sink in. An article from Christianity Today sums up alot: http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2015/december-web-only/report-details-why-gospel-for-asia-lost-ecfa-membership.html

I had to retract my previous glowing review of this ministry, as I no longer believe Gospel for Asia to be an effective ministry, if they are even to be considered a ministry at this point. I had volunteered with Gospel for Asia as a representative for over 10 years and had believed the Lord was using the ministry bring about salvation and to make many disciples of Christ. Unfortunately, I now know that I was deceived and in turn was used by the leaders of this ministry to deceive others through speaking on behalf of them and leading others to become donors, volunteers and staff.

It has been heart breaking to find out the truth of lies, frauds that have been perpetuated over the years by the GFA leaders. The name Gospel for Asia is certainly a lie and extremely misleading now with so many facts brought to light. ECFA has booted them and there has been much written and brought to light by former staff and others such as Warren Throckmorton. As it stands now, this is a for profit business that cares only for enlarging its business ventures and wealth. I'm writing this to warn others away from being deceived. Please stay away from Gospel for Asia. I would not be a good steward by staying involved with them and I would warn others from donating or volunteering. This is not a godly organization as it stands currently. I would encourage everyone with the means to get in touch with the leaders to call on KP Yohannan and the rest of the leaders to repent of their sins against God and His people. Gospel for Asia leader KP Yohannan has been caught in many bold-faced lies, including saying he is not on any boards or trusts in India and has no legal control of entities there, when numberous public records show that he has full legal authority over Believers' Church, its assets, and other entities there.

This travesty of an organization has, by my estimate, somewhere between 1/4 to 1/2 a Billion dollars missing. Those funds should have been wired to banks in India and reported to the Indian Government but never were. KP Yohannan has been caught lying to his staff about important details. Criminal complaints have been filed in two US states and in Canada. Three board members just resigned. One was quite clear that KP had lied to them and the ministry had failed all seven of the ECFA criteria for membership and had been terminated. Donor money intended for the poor and for evangelism have clearly instead been openly used to create businesses in KP's name. This is the largest scandal so far in church history considering GFA is the second largest missions organization in the World. I cannot recommend GFA as a reputable mission organization. As a former staff member, I believed wholeheartedly in the mission of GFA and served for 5 years. During my time on staff I noticed an increased amount of control being placed on individuals and families. More than once husbands were taught (in prayer meetings on Tuesday nights) that they must place ministry above their families and hold nothing back. The breaking point for me was when several staff were let go supposedly due to financial reasons but were not given any notice and were treated very poorly--immediately cut off from the ministry and staff. The lies were obvious for those who had personal relationships with the terminated staff. I also had concerns regarding the integrity of GFA in claiming 100% goes to the field and designations being honored. I made calls to thank donors for giving and more than a few times I was confronted by a donor with a discrepancy. One person who purchased a Jesus Well had requested information on where the well was placed. She received a photo and information. She donated again the following year and was sent the same exact picture and story when she asked about the location of the second well. My own church in Texas gave for Jesus Wells every year. GFA would send the church a report every now and then to share with the church. During one of these presentations, a photograph of a well was shown and a blurb about the island where it is located was read. The only problem is that I had previously visited that exact Well during my trip to India a year before. Any time I asked about the problems with these reports and the seeming false information being given, I was brushed off. If staff members who have questions can't get straight answers, who can? It was a known fact amongst those in marketing positions that Jesus Wells and bicycles were continually used as fundraising tools even though there was way more money sitting in those "accounts" than could be used in the upcoming years. I believe KP began the ministry with a great heart but got lost along the way. He refuses to repent for his unbiblical behavior and has brought along many of his top leaders with him. Find another organization to support.

We were a part of this organization for 7 years, and over that time noticed changes developing with which we were uncomfortable, such as focus on money instead of praying for the work on the field, elevating the importance of the ministry over the family, teaching to "not listen to an evil report" which meant not to talk to former staff and constant manipulative messages to "stay in the battle". The focus was seemingly on the Lord, but only because following Him was equated with staying at GFA.

Now I know many of my small pieces of the puzzle were only a fraction of the big picture of a ministry gone wrong, with many of the same destructive patterns of undue influence displayed by other manipulative groups.

I post this because I want to warn others away from coming to GFA, especially those students considering it. This is an UNHEALTHY SPIRITUAL ENVIRONMENT. To read more see www.gfadiaspora.com. Also read articles from Christianity Today, World Magazine and Patheos for details and concerns.

Sadly, I cannot in clear conscience recommend this charity any longer. Abuse of authority, shunning and lying to name a few reasons, start at the top. God can use all things for His purpose so I don't consider my time there wasted. They have lost their way and now worship a man named KP.

Gospel for Asia has sadly strayed far from their humble beginnings. Do you research, and do not give to this organization! GFA has recently had their membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Acountibility (ECFA) revoked, and over 100 former staff members are reporting cult-like abusive behavior by GFA leadership.

I was a donor to Gospel for Asia for several years. Unfortunately, over the past several months, I came to learn of much corruption and wrongdoing in this organization. This knowledge was attained through internet research, personal communication with those who formerly served on staff for GFA, and personal communication with a senior leader at GFA. While I expect no organization to be perfect and would not be surprised to learn of things done by charities/ministries with which I disagree, the overall amount of crookedness and the lengths GFA goes to deceive are very troublesome. This is why I stopped supporting this organization a couple of months ago.

There are many, many allegations, accusations, and questions of financial improprieties, potentially illegal activity, abuse of staff, deceptive behavior, and other wrongful practices of GFA. The existence of financial improprieties have been confirmed by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) who just very recently terminated GFA from membership for failure to comply with standards. GFA has done very little publicly in giving answers to all of these things up to this point. From their track record of behavior, I would expect them to start giving more explanations at some point that will amount to essentially PR spin and manipulation. Do not be fooled when you finally see their "answers". In my private communication I had with a senior GFA leader when I was still and donor and had asked about some of these issues, I learned soon afterwards that I had been deceived on some details. And on other details that either I or others or both had been lied to when given conflicting answers to the same questions.

If you desire to do your own research on this organization, please start by going to http://www.gfadiaspora.com/ . And then go to http://www.patheos.com/blogs/warrenthrockmorton/ and http://michaelnewnham.com/ and do a search for Gospel for Asia.

And do not be deceived by the high overall rating that GFA gets in the reviews right here at GuideStar. That is just another aspect of GFA's deception. According to a former leader who recently left GFA, GFA is instructing their staff to come here and leave raving reviews of the organization. The extent to which Gospel for Asia will go in order to manipulate and artificially maintain their name and appearance has no bounds.

I am sure that GFA has done much good over the years. There have been and probably still are many good people on staff. Unfortunately, the fish rots from the head and senior leadership at GFA, most especially with the president who maintains ultimate control over all aspects and branches of the organization, have become very corrupt. If you are a current donor or potential donor to this organization, please beware.

Unfortunately this organization has fallen far from its original purpose and calling. They still put on a good front, but as the dramatic action by the ECFA to drop GFA after over 30 years due to violating six different standards shows, there are significant issues within the organization that can only lead to the conclusion that they should not be trusted with donors' hard earned dollars.

I could not recommend this ministry more highly! I have known several staff members for more than a decade and am continually inspired by their integrity, humility, and faith. They truly desire to bring the message of Jesus to every corner of the world! The Lord is working through the people in this organization because they are so open to the Holy Spirit and constantly seeking God's will. I support home office staff as well as children through the Bridge of Hope program, and have no reservations about how the funds are raised and spent.

GFA is the only organization that I will donate to without ear-marking funds, they are the only organization that I trust is seeking the Lord in their spending and I have complete trust in all the staff that make such decisions.

I have recently learned that there are a few disgruntled former staff members that are most likely not being very Godly about their feedback publicly and won't discuss their concerns with GFA staff and are now purposely trying to slander GFA, I recommend ignoring all the reviews that sound bitter and angry as they are probably posing as donors or volunteers. PRAY for them and don't let lies and slander hurt GFA, please!

As a long-term supporter of GFA, I was dismayed to learn that so many of their claims were false, the most grievous being that "100%" of our money went to the field. We now know this is not true and want to know what happened to the millions of missing dollars. Also, the President has been abusive to his staff and misrepresented himself to churches for many years as a humble evangelical while parading around India in robes as the Metropolitan of the Believer's Church, a Presbyterian sect. DO NOT GIVE TO THIS SCAM!!!

INDIAN CHURCH DISMISSES TWO BISHOPS FOR PART IN PENTECOSTAL CEREMONY
http://www.lightoflife.com/light_of_life_events_world_March2004.htm
The consecration of Yohannan as a bishop took place in February 2003 at a service led by Bishop K. J. Samuel, moderator of the Church of South India, and attended by two other bishops from the church as well as the two bishops from North India. Samuel has since failed to win the support of his church synod for re-election as moderator. The Church of South India synod declared Yohannan's consecration to be "invalid" and said neither Samuel nor the other bishops had authorisation from the church to take part in the ceremony.

... Accountability in Ecumenical Relations Discussions in Indian/Asian Contexts. Gnana Robinson .... Corruption in Churches was the subject of our discussion.
The latest Episcopal scandal in the Church of South India and the Church of North India was the consecration of K.P. Yohanan, a lay man, an evangelical preacher with a foreign wife, who formed his own church and called it the Believers’ Church. He has many supporters in U.S.A. and Australia. He draws huge amounts from overseas. One year the Government announced in newspapers the list of those non-governmental organizations which received large sums of money from overseas, and K.P. Yohanan topped the list. That year he had received Rs. 780 million from overseas. He was consecrated as bishop by the then CSI moderator K.J. Samuel with the accompaniment of the present moderator and one other bishop from the CSI and two bishops from the CNI, without any prior theological discussion on the faith issues involved and without any formal decision of the CSI Synod or its Executive Committee. The CNI viewed the matter very seriously and conducted an enquiry. In the enquiry, one of the participants, Bp. Nayak of the Phulbani Diocese of the CNI, had admitted that he participated in that function because “he was assured of some financial assistance by Mr. K.P. Yohannan.” (CSI Life, Feb.-Mar ’04, p.5) The CNI took this to be enough evidence for both its bishops taking money for participating in the consecration and laying hand on K.P. Yohanan, and dismissed both of them from being bishops. (The North India Church Review, February, 2004). The drastic action taken by the CNI frightened the Moderator and the two bishops of the CSI who conducted that illegal consecration. A period of suspense and fear continued among them when lobbying and bargaining were going on. The matter was somehow silenced. Full insight into the proceedings has yet to be gained.

This time, he has linked to the writings of a Canadian pastor who has stopped giving to GFA and tells us why in a devastating 13 page report/letter. http://michaelnewnham.com/?p=22436

I am a grateful former staff at Gospel for Asia and I can remember what huge honor is was that I found mission organization of the caliber of Gospel for Asia that would allow me to join their organization even though I did not have any Bible School training or very much college. If you are looking to financially support GFA, I encourage you to do so as unto the Lord! If you are looking at joining staff, join because God calls you and don't expect a cake walk! GFA was willing to take me as I was; unlearned but willing to work. The leadership and staff allowed me to learn what I needed to be an effecting worker, helping reach millions with the Gospel. I am so blessed that was able to make that impact.

I was compelled by the Lord to join GFA about 20 years ago. I was motivated by their goal to send out 100,000 missionaries into the unreached part of Asia. I felt like I was joining the Marine Corp of Missions! When you join staff at GFA, I encourage you to look at it like you are joining the military. I will be difficult and you will have good times and bad times but you will impact Asia and you will help send thousands of foot soldiers to preach the Gospel. This was the privilege our family had when we served faithfully for 9 good years! We didn't join because we were looking for some missions utopia that would make our lives wonderful, we joined because we wanted to reach Asia! GFA gives willing servants a huge opportunity to impact the world. I can remember the ad I saw 20 years ago in the "SEND" magazine that GFA published; "Is your life worth a million souls?" That question rang in my heart! God called to me, no one else. GFA recognized that call and invited us to join. We built lifelong friendships that we will have for the rest of our lives and into eternity. Brother KP wasn't the easiest person in the world to serve but he challenged me to be serious about my work and made me a better person. Brother KP is and was and still is one of the hardest working people I know and the leadership at GFA both in India and the United States followed his example. The leadership demanded alot of me but gave me the grace to fail and continue to try. I consider the GFA leaders I worked for to be some of the best friends I have even though we had arguments but we forgave one another and kept serving. When I left GFA, I was called to serve in a different ministry and Brother KP and the GFA leadership team gave me the grace to leave and with their heartfelt blessing. I am a better person from my service at GFA! If you are praying about joining GFA, I encourage you to expect challenges, it is not a mission utopia but a spiritual booth camp that will allow you to impact the world.

We have also sent teams to the field to check out their ministries. We came back very impressed with what we examined. In fact I have personally been on the field and met with them in different counties in South Asia. Along with that I have had first hand experience with their staff and with their School of Discipleship program. With each of them I have witnessed an unparalleled commitment to reach the lost in southeast Asia with the message of the Gospel of Jesus and a willing to to this with a single minded focus.

I served on staff for 8 years-part of that time as a Sr. leader. Although I believe they started off well in the early years they now have become a "ministry" controlled by a leader (President) who has lost his way. His desire for power and funds have severely diminished his capacity to lead effectively and GFA in my opinion has morphed into a spiritually abusive cult. In 2015 alone around 60 staff have left and more are trying to leave. There are now coming to light serious questions about the financial integrity of GFA. Even on this site, I was instructed to recruit good reviews in 2014 so GFA could make the level of "Top Charity" for 2014. I now regret doing so because I no longer believe they are worthy of trusting funds with. GFA is not a ministry of grace and love but instead manipulation and deceit. I would rate zero stars if able but 1 star is lowest it allows.

I served with Gospel for Asia for 10 years, during which I believed that I was the most privileged person on earth to give my life away for the sake of the lost and serve under leadership so completely sold out to the Lord, in touch His heart, and full of integrity. The last several years I was on staff, I saw more and more from leadership that was unbiblical, teaching became opinion over Scripture, and control was suffocating. In spite of confusion and believing submission to leadership had become an idol over serving Christ Himself, I steadfastly stood by the integrity of leadership, however they had gone astray. I have since seen more instances of outright lies, deceit, and manipulation than I could believe previously or can even count and have lost every iota of respect for leadership or belief in any integrity whatsoever. I am very sad to say that I cannot in good conscience recommend spending a single penny with this organization, as I am no longer convinced that much of the income even reaches the intended recipients. I am not bitter, just extremely grieved to see spiritual pride and sin reigning where Jesus alone desires and deserves to be!

Please listen to what former staff are saying about this organization. They have lived it!! And some would call it a cult, with its authoritarian culture that leads to spiritual abuse and broken families and now it's episcopalian structure that you won't see until you go to India where KP is known as His Emminence the Most Reverend Metropolitan Bishop, revered and bowed down to. Donors and sponsors have a right to know these things but they have purposefully lied and hidden these realities. Over 100 staff that have left the ministry over the last few years have been pleading for greater accountability and transparency. www.gfadiaspora.com
Donors are being fed on books like Revolution in World Missions but although it started out well it has now become a money making machine. I served for many years and valued much of what I saw being accomplished through national missionaries. But in the end I had to leave because of the lack of integrity of the leadership itself.
You need to ask hard questions to find out where the money is really going. "100 percent goes to the mission field" is the claim, but what does that really mean?? I can tell you - once it's gone overseas they do whatever they want with it!! Do your research...GFA is not what it appears.

What other organization can you give to - where 100% of the funds are reaching the field and not consumed by ministry overhead cost? The whole economic model for how it works makes so much sense. Native missionaries are the most effective way of advancing the Gospel period. I had the opportunity recently to spend some time with other donors and volunteers abroad in the field seeing the work up close and personal , and I could not have been more encouraged with what I observed. I went on the 2014 pastors tour and it was amazing to see God working through Gospel for Asia.
The Bridge of Hope ministry was awesome as it helps children in their studies, feeds them one life meal a day, and shares the message of Jesus Christ with them.
The Jesus Well provides clean water for families to drink and a chance to also receive living water.
Bible colleges and seminaries are training future pastors and ministers to fulfill the Great Commission. The vision is dynamic and the work of the Holy Spirit is evident. What a great ministry to partner with.

After reading "Revolution In World Missions" and "No Longer a Slum Dog," my wife and I became sponsors of several Bridge of Hope children. When our church hosted a GFA speaker, our congregation immediately got on board, with most members supporting either GFA missionaries or Bridge of Hope children. Several of us went to their headquarters and talked to their leadership, and I was careful to study their doctrinal and mission statements. Our church has also supported the construction of a Believer's Church, and several Jesus Wells. I have just returned from a two week tour of GFA ministries from Deli to Calcutta, Bengal and Kerala. We visited Bridge of Hope centers, a medical center, a hospital, several Believers' Churches, leper colonies, Bible Colleges and a Seminary. I am convinced beyond a doubt that only the hand of God can accomplish what is being done through GFA. The Believers' Churches are alive and exciting, and the Bible Colleges are full of students who love Jesus and want to give their lives to serving him. Most importantly, the heart of GFA is to win the lost to Jesus Christ, and they are using every avenue of Christian service and love to do so. I am more confident than ever before that GFA is the best steward of my mission giving.

My wife and I were blessed immensely from attending the Renewing Your Passion (RYP) Conference in 2013. We had been supporting Gospel For Asia’s mission for only a year or two before being invited to RYP. We prayerfully considered whether it was wise to use monies for a plane ticket and a hotel when it could go to further God’s work in the field. We decided to go and have never regretted it.

The vision and passion for the lost in the 10/40 window came through in all that was said and done. RYP is a great way to see and experience the heart of Gospel For Asia and their heartache for the lost, increase your compassion for “the least of these,” and give glory to God for His work among the people of Southeast Asia.

Truly, we came home renewed in passion for Christ and serving the lost. What a blessing it is to be a slave of Jesus Christ.

The Lord has worked in my life in many ways, especially through the love and guidance of the staff members. It feels like I have a whole new family here, who really love me and want to encourage me in the Lord.
Recently, our class was able to go on a two-week vision tour to see the work locally in Asia, and I was absolutely blown away. I've traveled a lot, so I didn't expect this trip to be anything really special, but once I met some of the pastors and Bible college students my whole perspective changed. The goal here at GFA is to show people the love of Jesus Christ, and to enable them to go out into their communities and share that same love. This post is in response to post by 'Leaving'

It's pretty irresponsible to post negatives about something you admit you thought you might have heard. This organization receives enough persecution from those looking to do it harm. You won't take the time to ask the speaker to clear up what you thought you might have heard but you will take the time to slam them on this website. Isn't a child nursing from an animal enough to get your attention? whether or not the child is an orphan? I think you need to check your hearing. In his book "No longer a Slumdog" all of these stories are there. They are on the website also - easy to check out. I don't think he claims that many of them are orphans. Some are orphans, most of them have at least one parent. It's irrelevant because they are the lowest rung on the caste system in India which means they have no hope of doing anything with their lives. Only because of GFA have so many thousands been incredibly blessed because of God's work through this ministry. You are a very negative person and nit-picky about how you choose to see things. All the good GFA does over shadows any negatives but somehow you see it the opposite. You are a CHristian, with the love of Christ in your heart????? Need to look on the inside first and stop tearing down what God is doing through those whose lights truly shine bright and who actually get their hands dirty working for those in need and not just sit in a nice comfy church and decide on wishy-washy information that they are too lazy to check out who they will or won't take all the trouble to pull out their pen and write a check to.

If you find any real evidence of wrongdoing by GFA (and all the bogus negative reviews which amounts to persecution on various charity review sites is NOT evidence) then by all means tell the world until you have that please do something about your anger.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not DISHONOR OTHERS, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always PROTECTS, always TRUSTS, always HOPES, always perseveres.

One of the things that most impacted me was the missionaries' dependence on the Lord. They pray about all things and trust in the Lord. It was so neat to see how the Lord answered their prayers. Also, seeing their work among the poorest living in the slums was impactful. There are committed missionaries living in the slum, sharing the love of Jesus with those around them. I don't think I could do that so I'm grateful to be a part of sending them.

I am a missionary with another organization and a friend who supports GFA invited me to come to enhance my study of church planting movements. I am not a member of GFA or a volunteer but was blessed to have the opportunity to visit many locations across India. I was impressed with their sincere humility and desire to reach the unreached in this part of the world. They are getting the job done! People are being saved, rescued from their lifestyles, and churches are being established that seem to be reaching the communities. The organization was run efficiently. The number of churches, bridge of hope centers, Jesus wells dug and seminaries dedicated to training pastors and leaders was overwhelming. This is truly a church planting movement that is making a difference. I have encouraged friends to support this effort but I have not been able to start yet. Bro. K P is such a personable guy with a great tenacity to see things through for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ. His book Revolution of World Missions has inspired me to be open to God's call on my own life and invest more in missions even now to the point of taking my family to a foreign land.. For anyone that might have questions about the organization, they just need to ask. Everything was open and no question seemed off limits to us. Our guide was excellent. It was amazing to see what can be done when there is enough money to do it. My only concern is how are the nationals able to duplicate this program if the American dollar is ever to dry up. I could see they are working on ways to fund this ministry from inside the country but this, like many mission works will be very hard to reproduce by those whom are receiving the benefits. To me this was a new definition of indigenous work. They almost only use nationals to run the ministry in country, but most of those nationals are supported from without, not from the church they pastor. So we just continue to trust the Lord that he will supply the funds until HE returns. I pray that God will continue to use GFA and I am blessed to have had opportunity to see this ministry and meet the leaders and some of those who are being blessed by the mission.

I am very thankful for Gospel for Asia. If you want to grow in the word of God read he wonderful books at God has allow KP to write. Nobody but God could deliver a message of hope for the lost. We were all lost in a condition of hopelessness nobody but God could deliver us from the penalty and power of sin. I am thankful that The Lord has allow me to sponsor several missionaries, Bridge of Hope children, etc. What we fail to realize that MUCH IS GIVEN MUCH IS REQUIRED. We in America have forgotten about the poor and suffering in the world. No longer do we has or address the missionary in churches. We have failed look beyond our needs at the needs of other. My friend wake up. If you attend a church is 10 percent of the tithes and offering going out to help the poor, or are we living in comfort. Ask the Lord to reach and show you what he would have you to do.
Remember the television show Mission Impossible" that aired in the late 70's 80's where the mission seem to be impossible , however, the mission was always completed. Decades ago Asia did not know of any hope..... the mission seemed impossible., and no one carried about the lost in the 10/40 window
nobody but God listened to a mother's prayer to use one of her sons to serve The Lord. Well nobody but God could do what God hd done and keep doing... the rest is HIS-STORY.
Love you always

My wife and I have been involved with the ministry of Gospel For Asia for over 10 years. First as donors, then as volunteers, & now as full time staff. I strive to be a good steward in all things and especially concerning the Lord's work. I've carefully examined this ministry through the years and in doing so I've come to the conclusion this work is driven by the mighty hand of God with the utmost of integrity!

Time and time again I have been blown away by examples of Godliness and Integrity at every level. Most especially through the leadership here stateside and from our time on the field. Praise the Lord for a quality ministry such as Gospel For Asia!

GFA is the real deal. The more involved I become with the ministry, the more I see the Lord's hand at work.  It's much more than just meeting people's needs. It is His people living in a way that is demonstrating Christ's love to a lost & dying world.

I've been to the field & have seen this first hand.  They are efficient. They are honest.  Humble.  Hard working. Sincere.  Christ loving.  Christ following. Transparent.  They are the real deal.  Because of this, they are & will be, persecuted.  Pray for this ministry & get involved.

Letter to KP Yohannan

APPLICATION FOR HAVING AN INSIGHT INTO CHENNAI DIOCESE

Dear Metropolitan KP Yohannan and All Leaders Responsible for,

It is clarion call to one and all to have an insight into Chennai diocese, its plight to redress and to render justice.

Since 1994 Gospel For Asia trained nearly 5000 Tamil National Workers for God’s ministry and to fulfil the great commission of our Lord in Chennai Diocese, all over Tamilnadu and Pondicherry. Now they are sans daily bread, purified water, clothing, education for their children and basic amenities, because of the corrupt practices of Believers Church (GFA) leaders such as Rev. Vijayan and Johnny A George, etc. Most of them are starving even today, unable to pay their rent, dwelling in dilapidated houses, experiencing untellable misery to sustain their daily life at utter poverty level, despondency drives them to the extremity of existence. Leaders in Chennai Diocese still abusing power and mishandling money given to them by GFA.

Hence I plead and implore you Sir, to have an insight into their plight redress and uplift the downtrodden native missionaries for an effective missionary work. Also it would ensure to establish episcopal Churches in and around Chennai Diocese, which is at present nonexistence but it is the only, most necessary and vital need of Chennai Diocese. I, therefore, have been waiting since 2003 with some of mission projects to uplift the Native Missionaries and their family and children, based on the vision of Believers Church (GFA) “in service to God and humanity”, which is subjected to periodical evaluation and validation. These projects are viable and feasible which will indeed promote Church growth and expansion with all self-complacency.

I would like to consider my request to accomplish God’s commission.

With fervent hope and favourable reply,

Yours Sincerely,

(S. JEPASINGH)

We became acquainted with Gospel for Asia through K.P. Yohannan's book "Revolution in World Missions" and have supported this organization for several years now. We have been very impressed by their communication about the national missionaries we support, as well as the impact that this organization has for Christ in India. They have a passion to reach souls for Christ in the most effective and efficient way possible.

The Lord is working through many individuals and organizations around the world, however I am blown away by how He is using Gospel for Asia. I want to encourage you to look into this yourself and seek the Lord; but if you want to store treasure in heaven start praying, supporting and or volunteering with these brothers and sisters. Prayer is at the heart of this ministry. I've been to the field to see the work and words can not describe how grateful I am to the Lord to allow me to be a part of this ministry. Only in heaven will I see the great reward! Pray about this...we're not guaranteed tomorrow. Share Jesus to the millions who are lost through GFA.

My husband and I have been supporters of many missions’ organizations over the years. With being self-employed we evaluated where our donations could make the most impact. What really drew us was that Gospel for Asia was reaching out to the most unreached people groups and that the Lord has raised up indigenous missionaries to share the love of Christ with their own people. My husband travelled with GFA to see the mission field and could see firsthand the impact of the different ministries. The missionaries and pastors commitment to the Lord, their humility, and servant hearts was very humbling. We could see how the Lord was bringing hope to desperate people through the Bridge of Hope centers, radio programs, Jesus Wells, Bible colleges. Since that time we’ve partnered with the ministry more. Now I’m a volunteer with GFA and see it a privilege to invest my time and resources.

I just listened to this man speak at Calvary Philly yesterday ( K P Yohannan). He gave a very heart felt plea speaking about a child who was nursing from a dog in the street and spoke abut the orphans. When we got our donation cards none of these kids are orphans, all had families and spoke of the work that the family did? Then why the tear jerker speech about the orphan's? If it was about mission then just say so. Later that night he spoke about prayer and something to the effect that God allowed His hands to be tied so our prayer could work for God that He was waiting for us. Who ties Gods hands? I have changed my mind about sponsorship and am returning the cards I received. Maybe they do a lot of great work, I dont know. Something no longer seems right to me about it. No one ties Gods hands. Maybe he meant it different then the way it came across but it came across at least to me as junk theology.

This is Dr John Dayal, Member, National Integration council, Government of India, a former National President of the All India catholic Union and Secy Gen of the All India Christian Council. Much of my current work is in the justice, relief and rehab processes in the Tribal and Dalit-dominted Kandhamal District of Orissa. India. Kandhamal saw much violence against the Christian community in 2007 and 2008 in which more than 100 Christians were killed, 6000 of their houses demolished in 400 villages, and 56,000 people rendered homeless. While the catholic church helped rebuild 4000 houses, Believers Church, headed by its Metropolitan Bishop K P Yohannan, came second, building 1,000 churches and assisting in relief and rehab of the victims. The remaining houses were build by other denominational churches. Considering that the government was not keen to help the Christian victims, this was fantastic work done by the church in rebuilding lives. God bless them.

I encourage all to take a trip first to some of their fields before you make some commitment ,if you do so I challenge that your commitment would be reshaped and you would do more than you thought to do. Various media allegation forced the State of kerala to order an enquiry aganist K P Yohannan. He collected money especially United States, Europe and American countries for the rehabilitation and welfare of orphans, leprosy patients, widows, drinking water and community development. But the church officials are cooking accounts and deverting this blood money for making their personal assets like buying rubber estates in Cheruvally Pathanamthitta, Cardamom Plantation in Munnar and investing huge money in the real estate sector and construction of shopping malls. Recently kerala government issued a notification Belivers Church and K P Yohannan could not buy single inch of land in Kerala. As per the government this trust has recieved some Rs 1048 crores as foreign donations for charity but used that money for obtaining personal gains. Request to conduct an enquiry on your side as well. more details can be found on wikipedia under the section controversies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K._P._Yohannan http://bishopkpyohannan.blog.com/ http://bishopkpyohannan.wordpress.com/ http://bishopkpyohannan.blogspot.com/

They are 100% committed to the work of the Lord Jesus Christ and go ot of their way to serve God and fellow man. They work beyond religious boundaries to reach out to people everywhere. The people serving in GFA are true servants expecting nothing in return. Earthly possessions are of least importance to them and they spend their resources wisely. We had opportunity to visit their Bridge of Hope centre and various campuses. We could witness an organisation of excellence focussed on being true to God's calling for them.

It was one of the most existing experience for me to travel to different parts of the mission fields of GFA as media person. No words can explain the work being done in these most remote parts of India. A person with heart can never hold back their tears as you witness the missionaries and volunteers of GFA dress the wounds of the lepers in Calcutta. It takes courage, commitment, and passion. We were given freedom to talk to the missionaries, pastors and others. I expected them to share their difficulties...but their faces were shining...they shared how blessed they are to be part of GFA in fulfilling the great commission. It is not that they did not have problems...but despite all the problems they said there is nothing like being a part of GFA and doing Lord's work. The review will not be completed without mentioning few words about the leaders of GFA. I have never seen people with such humility and willingness to help. I understand they have inherited the same from their leader Dr. K P Yohannan. I would recommend individuals to support GFA and anyone can go and visit what they do. They do what they say! I can guarantee that with my two weeks of experience in the mission fields of GFA. Thank you.

It is true that these entities had to face hundreds of attaches of all kinds but at the end God stood by them and brought them to a place of victory only He can do. I wonder some time by looking around things happening in christian world and feel so ashamed and sad about 1.5 billions of people yet hear about Him in India. But at the same time thank God for raising up organizations like GFA and Believers Church to stand on behaf of God to bring people to the Lord. Having recently travelled to India, visiting several Gospel for Asia ministries, I came back impressed and inspired. The heart of Gospel for Asia was so clear; to honour God and to reach the lost through the love of Jesus. Examples of this shone through the leaders and missionaries in the Bridge of Hope schools, the Boys Home, the Bible Colleges, and in the distribution of gift catalogue items. We were treated like honoured guests when I felt the honour should be going to those in the field. I was touched by the mentally challenged boy in the Boys Home that was saved from the streets to be sheltered, trained and loved. His bright smile was priceless. The women whose hands were deformed by leprosy that broke down in tears telling her testimony of how God's love reached her through Gospel for Asia workers. I am a member of the media, and have traveled with different organizations. GFA and their staff on the ground will take great care in making sure the accommodations and arrangements are excellent. The ministry itself of the leadership of the Metropolitan K. P. Yohannon. They honor God with their lives, and evangelism is priority. The many parts of the ministry work together like a well-oiled machine, that compliments each other, to bring people to Christ. That is a true testimony of team work when God adds to your numbers like the new Testament Church. Against a lot of odds, the team doesn't rely on themselves, but on the faithful and ever-present help of God. Each department is vital, and works fervently to give hope. It's one thing to talk about hope, and it's another thing to see hope in action. I saw GFA giving hope in hopeless situations. It was life-changing.

GFA provides people who has not heard of the Lord Jesus Christ and God provision for salvation an opportunity to hear the “good news” that Jesus died for their sins and by receiving/believing Him as Lord and Savior they can have eternal life with God (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9). On my previous visit to India (February 2013), I observed many of the Christian activities that GFA is doing to show people God’s love and desire for them to have abundant and eternal life through faith in His Son, Jesus. This organization has a heart for God’s creation and desire for them to have a relationship with God and experience His love. By continuous prayer and fasting to hear and obey God, this organization is committed to listening to and following God’s voice.

I just returned from personally visiting the work of GFA in India as part of a ten person group of volunteers and donors. I was amazed at what God is doing through the work of GFA. We visited leprosy colonies where a hospital has been built where doctors can treat the patents, meals are served in the leprosy colony, children of the families are provided after school care, shoes are made to allow mobility for the lepers and so much more. We visited Bridge of Hope Centers all over India and met hundreds and hundreds of children who were indeed being given hope in very hopeless places through Jesus, education, caring staff and food. The smiles of the children told the story. I visited dedicated men and women that were serving the poor, the destitute, the widows, and children all over India because they love the Lord and are called to give themselves. The Bible Colleges were training these men and women to tell the Good News and bring hope. Widows and other women were being taught to read, the tears were proof of lives touched. Other women were taught to sew and tailor to provide for their families and themselves. Jesus wells brought life giving water to communities without any. Sand filters turned brown pond water to clear drinking water...amazing. Day after day of our trip we saw practical ways that GFA was serving India. All of this was done with precise book-keeping and records and every dollar given to GFA is used as intended. We returned very confident that every dollar we invest is used to bring hope of salvation and needed basics of food and love to many of India, especially the poor, widows, unlearned, and hopeless. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this ministry.

My review about Gospel for Asia is rebutted by some loyal friend's of GFA (maybe their covert agents ) and they said that I was reprimanded by the govt. etc. That is a pure lie. Let me ask these agents some questions. How did Mr. Yohannan became the Archbishop. I understand that he is a graduate of Criswell college in Dallas and he is supposed to be a baptist. Do baptists make Archbishops? Do you know how he became Archbishop? A Church of north India bishop anointed him so. What is his interest in a baptist Yohannan? Money, huge sum of money....... Is this not what called Simony? Paying money to get a religious position.

We in India know that the people and the churches with him are all bought not by the blood of Christ, but the money he mints from the US. We understand that "Church Buying" is a very profitable business in India and K P Yohannan leads the market. He is one of the worst crook the evangelical world in India has ever seen and the people who work with him are pawns in his hand. We all admit that he is extremely able and has wide influence and he has bribed all the political parties in India. May the Lord have mercy on him, his followers and all who support him.

I am minister of the Lord Jesus Christ in India and personally know the work of Gospel for Asia. When we say something against them usually many write us off as people who are envious of GFA. But my question is why do they do things which might cause envy and grief in the hearts of other Christians in India? Do you know that they own 2300 acres of Rubber plantation in Kerala which is worth millions of dollars. They claim that every penny send to them is directly send to the workers. If so where did they find millions and millions of dollars to spend on land, infra-structure, rubber plantations etc. They are liars and they lie at every turn of the way and we Christians in India are very weary of them. I will never recommend any one supporting them in the name of the gospel.

no amount of words can distingush the work which God has established through GFA as they foud favour from the Lord. God has added few more pages in the History of Christianity in India and Asia through their complete surrender to serve the Lord. From the TOP to bottom, you can find honesty, dedication and faithfulness. What more God is looking forward to bless a ministry. This is what GFA. I recommend

As a long time donor, I am glad to see that the false claims of fraud have been officially investigated by the Indian government. Not only was no fraud found, but the government cited GFA as one of the best organizations in the nation, and the accuser (who used multiple identities and accounts) has been arrested. Apparently, he had some sort of vested interest in seeing GFA tarnished. If the false claims have caused you any doubt, please read this article about the matter: http://www.indianexpress.com/news/hc-notice-to-google-facebook-on-churchs-plea/1037044/

My husband and I have known about and been involved with Gospel for Asia for over 15 years. We sponsor missionaries and Bridge of Hope children. We have traveled to Asia to see the work that GFA is doing. The organization from Brother K.P. Yohannan on down is the real thing. Every person we met from the organization was kind and loving and caring and just desired to serve the Lord and the people of Asia.

I am a gospel worker in India and personally knows the work of GFA. We understand that they are an organization which has amassed the most amount of money in the history of Christianity in India. They are multi billionaires and have successfully cheated the gullible American Evangelicals for decades. We know of no other organization who is so bent on cheating people like GFA. If any one would like to know more we can send you documentation for our allegations.

As a law enforcement officer and a Christian, I tend to scrutinize Christian/charitable organizations for fiscal integrity and, importantly, their godly scriptual underpinnings and the fruits thereof. In GFA, I have found the heart of Christ. For the past six years, my husband and I have sponsored a number of missionaries and children and find this to be a great and rewarding joy. This year I had the great experience of traveling to India with GFA. We traveled much through the country and visited numerous GFA sites, interacting with children, leaders, pastors, and missionaries. These folks are truly on the front lines, sacrificing and serving for the Kingdom of God. I have been to the TX headquarters and met the godly and dedicated staff and, through the years, have gained and learned so much from Brother K.P. Donating to GFA is co-laboring in the fields with the Lord. You will gain much more than you could ever give.

I first became acquainted with Gospel for Asia in the early 1990s. I heard KP speak a few times and engaged him in two brief conversations. I have read, and given friends copies of, Revolution in World Missions and The Road to Reality. I sponsored a pastor in Orissa for two years. I am now donating some books to a Bible college in Kerala. I wish I could do more to help, but a health problem and a small retirement income make that impossible at this time.

My wife and I first came into contact with GFA in 2000. We have been impressed with their organization from the beginning. As a result of their continuing to amaze us with the work they do, we decided to become supporters and volunteers in recent years. What you get in this organization is a group of dedicated and committed people that you do not see in other ministries or for profit companies for that matter. The leaders and staff walk the walk spending their time and efforts furthering the Gospel in the 10-40 window reaching the lost multitudes of peoples whom very few ministries actually ever try to reach.
My wife and I have both been to India to see their work in person, I am a very concerned and frugal (cheap) giver and it was important for me to see where their efforts were focused and how responsible they were with the gifts of GFA supporters. After visiting many areas of the country and seeing many different GFA organizations at work I am convinced of their love of the Lord and that they are tremendous stewards of all the resources they are blessed to work with! From K.P. to the missionaries, to the staff in the USA and in the field I cannot say that I have ever been as impressed by another ministry. These people live for the Lord and work from before sun up to late in the evening. This ministry gets my highest mark. I recommend that you contact GFA and learn for yourself how you can partner with them to fulfill the great commission!

When we visited India in Jan 2012, we were deeply impressed by GFA's focus on it's mission, the desire to steward resources well, and the effectiveness of leadership in general. We have been donors for a while, and wanted to see things for ourselves before giving additional significant gifts, as we are involved with many charities and have opportunity to give in many places. It was obvious that resources were well used, and we consider it a great honor to partner with GFA in ministry. We have met KP several times and found him to be a great servant leader, and found many great leaders in the organization. We saw for ourselves the great impact of the organization. RECOMMEND!

I have been an active volunteer with Gospel for Asia for almost 5 years. Each year I grow more in love with the awesome work GFA is doing for the lost in the most unreached areas of the world. I have heard countless stories of how God is bringing many lost souls into His kingdom through the various programs GFA has. My favorite program of GFA is the Bridge of Hope. I have sponsored several children for many years now and I love to read their letters and watch their growth through this program into passionate lovers of the LORD! Lives are saved every day because of the work of GFA not just physically but also spiritually.

I first learned of Gospel for Asia when I read the book Revolution in World MIssions that was given to me by my favorite mission pastor. After reading the book, I became a sponsor of some GFA missionaries. Later I attended the GFA conference at headquarters in Carrollton, TX. Next I signed up to be a volunteer. The more I learned about GFA, the more passionate I became about their work. Soon I began to sponsor children in the Bridge of Hope program. I love writing to the children and seeing the dramatic changes in the children as they begin to learn about Jesus and hear the Gospel. Many have come to know the LORD in this program! Last year, I traveled to India with GFA to see the work GFA does there. I didn't think I could be more on fire for GFA, but I am. We saw some of the many workers, children in the Bridge of Hope programs, Jesus wells, the seminary and Bible colleges and talked to missionaries and students and believers! We heard many miracle stories and saw first hand that this is an amazing work of God to bring in His harvest! I am so grateful to be a small part of the work of GFA. I learned how my small donation of time and money is making a huge difference in the lives of so many for eternity. Thank you LORD for allowing me to serve in this wonderful organization!

The founder married a westerner stayed in the luxury in the us and travels with funds raised to support the work while paying very poorly to the tribals exploiting them of their poverty showing pictures of poverty and raising funds . Why doesnot he stay in his native India whe he was born and do the work there .does that make sense. Why is he in America?

I was among a group of U.S. journalists who traveled to Asia with GFA in 2010. It was astounding to discover the reach of GFA's influence -- Bible colleges and a seminary; children's after-school tutoring, feeding and activity programs; bio sand water filter production; animals for needy families; sewing machines and other equipment for people to earn a living and more. Meeting their indigenous staff and those GFA assists in ministry confirmed my conviction that this is, indeed, a ministry I want to be a part of.

I am not an employee of Gospel for Asia, nor do I receive any compensation from them. However, I did pay my own expenses and went to India to observe the work they were doing there. I visisted ministers and missionaries, a seminary in Kerala, a Bible college and a Bridge of Hope Center.
I was very impressed with the dedication and committment of everyone associated with GFA to spread the gospel and plant churches in Asia. They are certainly under persecution from Hindus and Muslims who do not want to see the spread of Christianity in their country. I met a village leader who told me he had ordered a Christian missionary killed because he did not want any Christians in his village. He later accepted Christ and was grateful for the GFA missionary who came to his village in spite of the threats and persecution.
If you want to know more about GFA I suggest you read, "Revolutions in World Missions", and "Destined to Soar", writted by K.P. Yohannan.

My wife and I have been volunteers with GFA for many years. During this period of time we have been amazed how God is using this organization. GFA is a prayer-dependent and prayer-led ministry whose goal is to bring the Gospel message to the lost in Asia. While traveling to India last year, I saw first hand the seriousness of GFA's accountability right down to a single rupee. This is one of the few charitable organizations where 100% of the money donated for support of its children in the Bridge of Hope Centers and for the National Missionaries goes directly to the field. In India I was touched by the faithfulness of the brothers and sisters from GFA ministering to those in need. My heart was especially moved by the love and care shown to the sick in the leper colonies as well as to the children in the Bridge of Hope Centers. From National missionaries, to office staff both here and in India, I have encountered humble men and women who understand Jesus' command to die to self and serve others. We thank God for this ministry.

My wife and I read Revolution in World Missions and were hooked. We became sponsors right away, everything just made sense. A few months later we became volunteers. It is a great opportunity to be a mouthpiece for our brothers and sisters in Asia who can't come here and raise support especially since they are much better suited to reach their own people and have the passion to do so. I got to travel to the field about a year and a half ago to see the work first hand. Everything that Gospel for Asia does is done with making disciples in mind. We got to see children in Bridge of Hope centers, talk with national missionaries and hear their stories of struggles and victories, see brothers and sisters ministering to lepers and taking care of their wounds and see the lostness of a people who know nothing about Jesus Christ. This is a ministry who knows where their power and abilities come from, the Lord, they bring everything to him in prayer and have done so since the beginning of the ministry. If you have any kind of desire to see lost people reached, this is definitely a ministry for you.

As a member of the board of directors for Gospel for Asia over the last 10 years, and as a supporter of several native missionaries through GFA since 1985, and as a sponsor of 7 Bridge of Hope children, and as the father of a son who has gone through the GFA School of Discipleship and is now raising support to become a full-time staff member, and as a first-hand witness of the work being done by GFA in India, and as a part-time volunteer for GFA, I would highly - and whole-heartily - recommend this organization for your consideration. The commitment of the leadership, and all the native missionaries,
to spread the gospel where Christ has never been preached is, in a word: “RADICAL.” Those on the field are encouraged to dig their grave outside the village they are seeking to reach for Christ. It is their way of saying, “I am willing to lay down my life for these people that they might hear the gospel." The integrity of this mission group is above reproach. For anyone wanting to support GFA know this, your money will not be used for anything other than what you designate it for. If for native missionaries, 100% of it will go to the missionary. If for the Bridge of Hope children, 100% will go to supporting your child. All administrative costs are taken care of through a “general fund” of which you can designate your gifts to also. In order for the mission field to receive 100% of what is donated, those on staff must raise their own support. If your desire is to see, and be a part of, literally 100's of thousands of people coming to faith in Jesus, then you would be hard-pressed to find a more blessed or more committed mission organization than Gospel for Asia. I could go on and on, but you get the idea - I love these guys; and I know you will too!

I have been volunteering with GFA for several years and love the ministry. The reason we chose to work with GFA is because of the integrity of the ministry and dedication in using every dollar wisely. I have been to Carrolton, TX, and India to see the ministry first hand. The number one mission is to get the good news to those who have not heard, and minister where God opens doors. They make their annual financial reports available to anyone who wants to see them. Every penny goes where we designate.

My husband and I have been donors and supporters of GFA for over 20 years. We have been to India twice to visit bible colleges, regional headquarters, and village churches. We know K.P. and his family personally, and have visited the Texas headquarters twice. This organization does what it claims to do: help Asian brothers and sisters in Christ to reach their nations with the good news of salvation. both in the U.S. and in India, we saw a very high level of accountability with both material resources and spiritually. We also support a ministry (Intensive Care Ministries) that provides training in the inductive bible study method, and which has helped GFA to make sure that all of their bible students learn how to study and prepare messages based on the WORD of GOD.

I'm an American traveling in India right now and NOT by the invitation of GFA. What I see going on here deserves serious investigation, BUT we will never be able to do that as this is India and not the US. The founder of GFA started with great intentions and a lot of charisma. He is now purchasing vast amounts of land in Kerala, India and is under investigation for how he has come to have so much money. He is also building a large mansion far above anyone else here. It makes me sick to my stomach that it will seem like nobody can stop this. Even this review will probably be deleted by them. Pray and see if this is true. This is not an Internet rumor. I'm here in India now and can see with my own eyes.

There have been numerous misinformation campaigns in India initiated in India with the purpose of attempting to discredit K.P. Yohannan and the ministry of Gospel for Asia. Attached is an open letter to fellow Christians from K.P. Yohannan addressing these issues. http://www.gfa.org/integrity More than a hundred nationally known pastors, church leaders, businessmen and individuals have visited GFA's work in South Asia. Some travel with the ministry and others have made their own travel arrangements. We would be happy to provide references at your request. Regarding the above post, to our knowledge, we do not have a record of this individual as a volunteer or any past correspondence inquiring us about these issues before posting this comment.
