Mission: The german book office - new york, inc (gbo) is an organzation dedicated to promoting in the united states the common business interests of german authors, booksellers and publishers through public relations efforts and information services. Gbo seeks to advance those interests by heightening awareness of and stimulating interest in german books, both in original language and in english translation, within the bookselling and publishing inustry, the academic community and the general public in the united states.
