Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: The georgia society of ambulatory surgery centers is dedicated to pursuing medical, legal, nursing and patient care issues impacting the citizens and ambulatory surgery centers in the state of georgia. Our goal is to provide a strong, unified voice on issues of concern to ambulatory surgery centers. We support the growth of ambulatory surgery centers and work to promote excellence in outpatient care with a commitment to access, quality, and cost containment.
Programs: Conducted semi-annual meetings to provide members with an opportunity to network and receive current industry updates and education through multiple sessions. Annual meeting had approximately 90 attendees and 38 vendors; clinical meeting had approximately 106 attendees and 37 vendors.
publish quarterly newsletter to 300 ambulatory surgery centers and members in georgia providing pertinent updates in the industry such as regulatory and legislative changes.
