On October 2024, I had the opportunity to attend an event hosted by the Genes Education Support Foundation, in Miami. It was a truly memorable experience! The atmosphere was warm and familiar, making everyone feel welcome.
One of the highlights of the event was the fashion show featuring the children who are members of the organization. Their enthusiasm and confidence were absolutely thrilling to watch! It was heartwarming to see them shine on stage, showcasing not just their creativity but also the impact the foundation has on their lives.
The event was well-organized and engaging, with friendly staff and volunteers who are clearly passionate about their mission. It’s inspiring to witness the dedication of everyone involved in making a difference.
I highly recommend supporting the Genes Education Support Foundation, whether through attending events, volunteering, or making a donation.
These people deserve my respect and admiration because they are a group of amazing individuals putting together very special activities for these kids. I had the privilege of helping during their Christmas party, and at the end my heart was full of happiness because seeing those kids faces of joy was contagious.

Being a part of this organization has been nothing short of a gift. I have been involved with Genes since I was in high school, and my involvement has only grown since then. I have learned so much from the co-founders and the kids, and volunteering is truly a fulfilling experience. Donations really help us to craft experiences for children and families, and it's such a privilege to see it all unfold.
I have had the privilege of being part of the Genes Foundation since its inception almost 10 years ago. It was created to provide support for individuals living with genetic conditions. Although the genetic conditions were varied, the needs of the individuals and their families were similar. Genes offers education, resources for therapy and treatments, and much needed social activities. We provide a very inclusive environment for families to come together and share their common experiences. My family and I have volunteered over the years and watching many of these individuals grow and flourish through our talent shows, the dance team, and Summer camp (to name a few experiences) has been a great joy. We are always evolving and adapting to our group’s needs and are currently developing our wellness program adding fitness and diet support with volunteer registered dietician and physical therapist. Many parents have shared over the years that the love is palpable in everything we do, and that is exactly what this organization has always been based on.
As a Volunteer it’s been an amazing experience to support this foundation. When you see the kids smiles and their families gratitude, then you know that Andrea and her team are doing an exceptional work.
How important and valuable is for the society to have happy children and specially when they have special conditions. To make them feel as an important part of this world with all this effort is just priceless.
Genes not only make them feel good but also their families know that they are not alone in their journey.
I thank God for allowing me to be part of this team and looking the things from behind the scenes and see the results, you see God’s hands in every event and project.

Genes Foundation has offered my daughter wonderful opportunities to participate in social and community activities, along with meeting other families who provide one another support. Genes has provided constant networking among parents with community agencies to better serve all of our children’s individual needs.
As a registered dietitian, I have the privilege of volunteering with the Genes Foundation to guide and educate their community of parents and children. My involvement began when Genesis was seeking a nutrition expert to help address the growing need for education and support in fostering healthier lifestyles. I knew this partnership aligned perfectly with my passion for empowering families to make sustainable changes for their health and well-being.
Through my role, I work directly with families and the leaders of this organization o provide tailored nutritional guidance, offering practical strategies to improve eating habits, manage health concerns, and create a foundation for long-term wellness. Whether it’s hosting workshops, sharing evidence-based resources or feedback of their meals, my goal is to equip parents and children with the tools they need to lead healthier lives.

I had the pleasure of going to the Genes 4th annual fashion show. Every details was thought of. It was so heart warming to see how confident and proud the kids are. They looked great and were glowing. This is such an amazing foundation. It creates a space of inclusion while educating individuals. The team are caring and open.
