Mission: Generation hope exists to empower ambitious,
Programs: Scholar program: recruited/funded new scholars for the 2013/2014 academic year raising total number of generation hope scholars to 22 total in dc, md & virginia. Conducted workshops & information sessions oncollege preparedness to 191 high school students.
hope conference: conducted third successful hope conference for scholars, high school students and young professionals. This included a full day conference with a panel discussion, workshops, seminars conducted by local experts in the areas of self empowerment, career prep, goals, healthy relationships, college life, etc.
