Mission: Gencure is organized to provide cell and tissue services for regenerative medicine activities including, without limitation: (i) bone marrow donor registration; (ii) cadaveric tissue services; (iii) umbilical cord blood bank services; (iv) peripheral blood stem cell and umbilical cord blood cellular therapy programs; and (v) clinical research.
Programs: In 2016, gencure and biobridge global led the u. S. Army institute of surgical research, san antonio biotech firm stembiosys and maryland-based roosterbio inc. In procuring a $7. 8m contract from the medical technology enterprise consortium (mtec). The funds will go toward development of large-scale manufacturing capabilities for clinical-grade stem cells to be used in research and therapy for military personnel and civilians.
