Mission: To provide an opportunity for community learning and interactions with individuals regarding all facets of a community theatrical production. Gaylord community productions, inc. Is dedicated to the promotion of understanding and goodwill in our community using live theatre. The performing arts, through music, dance and acting is academic in adding culture to all involved.
Programs: Presented "annie get your gun" from august 1 through august 5, 2013 to approximately 2,000 people at the alan l. Gornick auditorium. The cast and production crew consisted of approximately 150 volunteers. Provided informational materials about annie oakley as part of production. Additionally, presented "kids in theater" production to public utilizing elementary aged children, and performed a dinner theatre, an interactive event involving community members.
provided performing art scholarships to four local individuals.
Very proud and pleased that this organization has provided an opportunity for young , young teens and adults to show their talents to this wonderful community. A person being in a stage production prepares an individual to easily speak with others of all ages; and assists in their skills for employment!
