Causes: Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Human Services
Mission: Gateways to change, inc. Is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for persons with developmental disabilities in community settings. Gateways was developed in response to the continuing need for new and creative means to keep developmentally disabled adults living, working and recreating in the least restrictive and most integrated settings possible.
Programs: Residential living and semi-independent and family support programs involve helping clients achieve maximum independence and integration into their community. These programs serve approximately 59 clients, and focus on intense support that allows people to live as independently as possible in their own homes or apartments.
our in-house day program focuses on integration into community, job acquisition, and artistic development, serving approximately 86 clients.
